Determination of Traps' Density of State in OLEDs from Current-Voltage Analysis

A simple method to determine the traps＇ density of state （DOS） in organic light-emitting diodes （OLEDs） by manipulating the current-voltage （I-V） characteristic of the devices at room temperature is introduced. In particular, the trap-dependent space-charge limited current formula is simplified to obtain effective density of traps. In this study, poly[（9,9-di-n-octylfluorenyl-2,7-diyl）-alt-（benzo[2,1,3]thiadiazol-4,8-diyl）] （F8BT） and 2- methoxy-5-（3＇, 7＇-dimethyloctyloxy） benzene-l,4-diacetonitrile （0C1 Clo-PPV） are selected as the OLEDs emissive layer. The trap DOS of F8BT- and OC1Clo-PPV-based OLEDs are calculated in the magnitudes of 1024 m^-3 and 1023 m^-3, respectively. In addition, the results agree with the other conventional method which is used to determine the trap DOS in OLEDs. This calculation technique may serve as a robust and reliable approach to obtain the trap DOS in OLEDs at room temperature.

Due to the depletion of conventional energy sources and its limitless resources,solar energy is currently being considered as a viable alternative,especially for water heating *** thermal performance of multilayer solar collectors for water heating systems can be improved further by introducing hybrid nanofluids as advanced *** study demonstrates the utilisation of hybrid nanofluids in heating systems by employing a multilayer absorber solar *** SiO2–TiO2 hybrid nanofluids at volume concentrations up to 2.0%were tested at various flow rates(1.7 to 3.7 LPm)and solar radiation intensities(250 to 1000 W/m2).The thermal performance of the solar collector was assessed by measuring the temperature variation,heat loss,and overall efficiency of the *** the optimal volume concentration,the temperature difference for solar collectors employing SiO2–TiO2 hybrid nanofluids increased *** optimal volume concentration of 1.5%yields a maximum temperature difference of 9.5°*** addition,the efficiency and fluid temperature of the solar collector containing hybrid nanofluids have been enhanced by 22%and 37%,*** SiO2–TiO2 hybrid nanofluids with the optimal volume concentration of 1.5%were therefore recommended for maximum efficiency in the solar collector.

Objective:To assess the prevalence of malaria parasitemia in north-east Nigeria and to evaluate the measures for the prevention of ***:A village in north-eastern Nigeria was selected for the cross sectional study at the height of the rainy season in October 2011.A total of 550 inhabitants of a hamlet were recruited for this *** obtaining the consent individuals received a structured interview and were tested for malaria parasites in their blood *** testing positive for malaria were given a course of artemesinin-based combination therapy（ACT）.Results:A total of 497 inhabitants representing approximately 90 percent of the population participated:a quarter of the study group carried malaria parasitesexclusively Plasmodium falciparum（***）-representing a *** parasite rate（PfPR） of 24.5%.Besides,53/138 in the age group of 2 to hildren tested positive for *** representing a PfPR2-10 value of 38.4%.malaria control measures were used in just under a third（157/497） of this *** these measures 28/157（17.8%） still tested positive for ***:The malaria burden is overestimated for this region in north-east *** findings support an intermediate pattern of malaria *** 30%bed nets coverage for malaria control is well below the WhO estimates for 2011.

AIm:To investigate whether predicting patients that might be at a higher risk for complications might serve to improve the selection of patients undergoing colonic ***:A retrospective review of consecutive patients who underwent an attempted self-expandable metal stent(SEmS)insertion for malignant colonic obstruction between November 2006 and march *** patients were either referred for preoperative colonic decompression with the intent of a single surgical procedure,or for palliation of the malignant colorectal obstruction for unresectable ***’s test orχ2test was performed on categorical variables,and the t test for continuous *** and multivariable logistic regression were used to examine the association between independent variables and the presence of complications from SEmS ***:SEmS insertion was attempted in 73 *** comprised 55.71%and the mean age was 67.41±12.41 *** these,65.15%underwent subsequent surgery,while 34.85%received SEmS as palliation for advanced *** tumors were only4.76%.The majority of patients had stageⅣdisease(63.83%),while the remainder had stageⅢ(36.17%).SEmS were successfully inserted in 93.85%(95%CI:87.85%-99.85%).Perforations occurred in 4.10%,SEmS migration in 8.21%,and stent re-occlusion from ingrowth occurred in 2.74%of *** mean duration of follow up for the patients was 13.52±17.48 mo(range 0-73 mo).None of the variables:age,sex,time between the onset of symptoms to SEmS insertion,time between SEmS insertion and surgery,length of the stenosis,location of the stenosis,albumin level,or receiving neoadjuvant chemotherapy,could predict the development of complications from either SEmS insertion nor prolonged ***:None of the variables could predict the development of complications or *** studies are required to identify patients who would benefit the most from SEmS.

Indium tin oxide (ITO) nanoparticles are synthesized by the two-degradation sulfide and liquid-phase co-precipitation method under the given conditions with solutions of InCl3·4h2O and SnCl4·5h2O in the presence of *** sample powders were characterized by x-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEm) analyses after heat *** SEm results show that the size of the ITO particles prepared by the coprecipitation method is decreased to 100nm,whereas the size of the ITO prepared by degradation of sulfide increases to 1μm after heat *** XRD results reveal that the size of crystallite ITO particles is increased with increasing annealing *** the intensity ratio of I400/I222 has an increase of 29.07%for ITO prepared by the co-precipitation method.

Over the past decade,the interest in aluminum composites reinforced with carbon nanotubes has grown *** have been carried out to overcome problems with uniform dispersion,interfacial bonding,void formation and carbide formation of the *** the present work,multi-wall carbon nanotubes(mWCNTs) aluminum composites were ***-energy ball milling with the aim at developing well-dispersed mWCNTs Al composites was followed by cold compaction,sintering,and hot extrusion at 500 ℃.Different amounts of stearic acid as processing control agent(PCA) is used in order to minimize cold welding of the Al particles,and to produce finer *** scanning calorimetry(DSC),scanning electron microscopy(SEm),transmission electron microscopy(TEm),and X-ray diffraction(XRD) were employed to analyze the mWCNTs,the aluminum powder,and the composites’ microstructural *** hardness and tensile properties of the composites are also *** results showed 500% increase in yield stress after the addition of 1 wt% mWCNTs in Al-mWCNTs based *** ball-milling time of 4 h is found to be sufficient as excessive milling time destroys a vast number of mWCNTs.

Let (R, m) be a relative Cohen–macaulay local ring with respect to an ideal a of R and set c to be ht a. We investigate some properties of the matlis dual of the R-module h^ca(R), and we show that such modules behave like canonical modules over Cohen–macaulay local rings. moreover, we provide some duality and equivalence results with respect to the module h^ca(R)^∨, and these results lead us to achieve generalizations of some known results, such as the local duality theorem, which have been provided over a Cohen–macaulay local ring admiting a canonical R-module.

Terbium-picrate triethylene glycol（EO3-Tb-Pic） complex was prepared in thin film and single layer device structure of ITO/EO3-Tb-Pic/Al, using spin coating technique. The UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy analysis was performed to evaluate the electronic molecular transition of the complex. The optical band gap, Eg estimated from the Tauc model revealed that EO3-Tb-Pic thin film exhibited a direct transition with Eg of 2.70 eV. The electronic parameters of the ITO/EO3-Tb-Pic/Al device such as the ideality factor n, barrier height Φb, saturation current Io, and series resistance Rs, were extracted from the conventional lnI-V, Cheung＇s functions and Norde＇s method. It was found that the evaluated parameters calculated from Norde＇s and Cheung＇s methods were consistent with those calculated from the conventional I-V method. In the double logarithmic I-V plot, three distinct regions based on the slope were identified, and the conduction mechanisms were discussed and explained. The mobility, μ value was estimated from SCLC region as 2.58×10^–7 cm2/（V·s）. This newly obtained lanthanide complex may be potentially utilized in electronic devices.
