The retina is a multilayered tissue that develops following a central-to-peripheral gradient. Its structure derives from multipotent precursors, as shown through clonal analysis of retinal cell lineage. These progenitors generate diverse cell types, controlled by complex influences of intrinsic and extrinsic factors （Hatakevama and Kagevama, 2004）.

An innovative in-flight glass melting technology with induced thermal plasmas was developed for the purpose of energy conservation and environmental protection. Two-dimensional modeling was used to simulate the thermofluid fields in the plasma torch. The in-flight melting behavior of glass raw material was investigated by various analysis methods. Results showed that the plasma temperature was up to 10000 K with a maximum velocity over 30 m/s, which made it possible to melt the granulated glass raw material within milliseconds. The carbonates in the raw material decomposed completely and the compounds in the raw material attainted 100% vitrification during the in-flight time from the nozzle exit to substrate. The particle melting process is similar to the unreacted-core shrinking model.

This work aims to understand the inefficiency of nanoprecipitates to strengthen a weakly textured,polycrystalline mg-Gd-Y-Zr *** experimental micromechanical approach consisting on micropillar compression combined with analytical electron microscopy is put in place to analyze the effect of nanoprecipitation on soft and hard basal slip and twinning in individual grains with different *** study shows that,in grains that are favorably oriented for basal slip(“soft”basal slip),aging leads to extreme localization due to the ability of basal dislocations to shear the nanoparticles,resulting overall in the softening of basal ***,in grains in which the c-axis is almost perpendicular to the compression axis,prismatic slip dominates deformation in the solid solution state and nanoprecipitation favors twinning due to the concomitant lattice solute ***,in grains oriented with their c-axis making an angle of about 5-7°with respect to the compression axis,which deform mainly by“hard”basal slip,precipitation leads to the strengthening of basal systems in the absence of obvious *** work reveals that the poor hardening response of the polycrystalline alloy is related to the capability of basal dislocations to shear the nanoparticles,in the absence of Orowan looping events,and to the associated basal slip localization.

Computational catalysis is playing an increasingly significant role in the design of catalysts across a wide range of applications.A common task for many computational methods is the need to accurately compute the adsorption energy for an adsorbate and a catalyst surface of ***,the identification of low-energy adsorbate-surface configurations relies on heuristic methods and researcher *** the desire to perform high-throughput screening increases,it becomes challenging to use heuristics and intuition *** this paper,we demonstrate machine learning potentials can be leveraged to identify low-energy adsorbate-surface configurations more accurately and *** algorithm provides a spectrum of trade-offs between accuracy and efficiency,with one balanced option finding the lowest energy configuration 87.36%of the time,while achieving a~2000×speedup in *** standardize benchmarking,we introduce the Open Catalyst Dense dataset containing nearly 1000 diverse surfaces and~100,000 unique configurations.

This paper deals with robust direct power control of a grid-connected bmshless doubly-fed induction generator（BDFIG）. Using a nonlinear feedback lineariza- tion strategy, an attempt is made to improve the desired performances by controlling the generated stator active and reactive power in a linear and decoupled manner. There- fore, to achieve this objective, the Lyapunov approach is used associated with a sliding mode control to guarantee the global asymptotical stability. Thus, an optimal operation of the BDFIG in sub-synchronous operation is obtained as well as the stator power flows with the possibility of keeping stator power factor at a unity. The proposed method is tested with the matlab/Simulink software. Simulation results illustrate the performances and the feasibility of the designed control.

In this paper, a smooth repetitive oscillating wave traveling down the elastic walls of a non-uniform twodimensional channels is considered. It is assumed that the fluid is electrically conducting and a uniform magnetic field is perpendicular to flow. The Sisko fluid is grease thick non-Newtonian fluid can be considered equivalent to blood. Taking long wavelength and low Reynolds number, the equations are reduced. The analytical solution of the emerging non-linear differential equation is obtained by employing Homotopy Perturbation method(HPm). The outcomes for dimensionless flow rate and dimensionless pressure rise have been computed numerically with respect to sundry concerning parameters amplitude ratio ?, Hartmann number m, and Sisko fluid parameter b1. The behaviors for pressure rise and average friction have been discussed in details and displayed graphically. Numerical and graphical comparison of Newtonian and non-Newtonian has also been evaluated for velocity and pressure rise. It is observed that the magnitude of pressure rise is maximum in the middle of the channel whereas for higher values of fluid parameter it increases. Further, it is also found that the velocity profile shows converse behavior along the walls of the channel against multiple values of fluid parameter.
