A comparison of voltammetric behavior of bisoprolol fumarate (BF) at edge and basal plane pyrolytic graphite electrodes (EPPGE/BPPGE) has been made with single wall carbon nanotube modified glassy carbon. The electrochemical properties are investigated exercising the cyclic voltammetry and square wave voltammetry (SWV). Enhanced peak current associated with bisoprolol fumarate oxidation at EPPGE is due to its better electron transfer property. Quantification of bisoprolol fumarate was carried out at pH 7.2 at both the pyrolytic graphite electrodes. Well-defined peak has been observed at ~ 792 and 954 mV at EPPGE and BPPGE respectively for bisoprolol fumarate oxidation. The detection limit is found to be 2.8 × 10–7 m and 7.3 × 10–7 m for EPPGE and BPPGE respectively. A comparison of common quantification parameters for bisoprolol at carbon nanotube modified glassy carbon electrode and bare BPPGE and EPPGE has been made and it is observed that carbon naotube modified glassy carbon exhibits sensitivity and detection limit close to that observed at bare basal plane pyrolytic graphite electrode. The method developed is applicable for determination of bisoprolol fumarate in pharmaceutical preparations and real samples.

较高碳含量钢种的低韧性和低的可焊性制约了它们在管线钢中应用,因此,建立起了低碳微合金化钢用于陆上和海上管线钢的良好需求。对于低碳微合金钢,在最小工艺和合金成本条件下获得所需的力学性能,合金设计起着重要作用。在合金设计过程中,虽然主要焦点是考虑从板坯再加热到最终轧制的热轧工艺,但是为保证钢的洁净度,也不能忽视炼钢和连铸过程,为此给出了合金设计和热轧参数的详细研究,以获得最佳的力学性能,包括在-25℃进行落锤撕裂试验获得较高的韧性。试验钢采用API 5L X70m PSL2的板坯,轧制成尺寸为25 mm×3 830 mm钢板。并将力学测试结果与显微组织分析和热轧参数相互关联。

＜正＞ Objective: To compare coronary artery disease pattern and effects of coronary artery bypass grafting （CABG） in diabetics having left ventricular （LV） systolic dysfunction （LVD） with those in non- diabetics. methods: The study included patients with LVD （ejection fraction （EF） less than 35% on echocardgiography） and undergoing CABG. Group - Ⅰ included diabetics and group - Ⅱ included non -diabetics. Records of coronary angiography were compared. Pre- and post CABG echocardiographic data were also compared. Results: Out of 267 patients included. 116 were in group - Ⅰ and 151 in group - Ⅱ. Relatively more patients in group - Ⅰ had significant stenosis in left anterior descending, obtuse marginal and right posterior descending artery than those in group - Ⅰ. Consistently, there was reduced LV contractility before CABG. in group -Ⅰ （EF: 27.5%） as compared to group- Ⅱ （29.5%）. However, improvement following 2 - months of CABG was greater in group - Ⅰ （EF: 35.3%） than group - Ⅱ （34.4 % ）. Reduction in LV diameters was also greater in group - Ⅰ. Conclusions: Indian diabetics having LVD and undergoing CABG are found with more stenosed coronary arteries. Diabetics gain greater improvement by CABG than non - diabetics.

Objective: To improve the detecting accuracy of chromosomal aneuploidy of fetus by non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT) using next generation sequencing data of pregnant women’s cell-free DNA. methods: We proposed the multi-Z method which uses 21 z-scores for each autosomal chromosome to detect aneuploidy of the chromosome, while the conventional NIPT method uses only one z-score. To do this, mapped read numbers of a certain chromosome were normalized by those of the other 21 chromosomes. Average and standard deviation (SD), which are used for calculating z-score of each sample, were obtained with normalized values between all autosomal chromosomes of control samples. In this way, multiple z-scores can be calculated for 21 autosomal chromosomes except oneself. Results: multi-Z method showed 100% sensitivity and specificity for 187 samples sequenced to 3 m reads while the conventional NIPT method showed 95.1% specificity. Similarly, for 216 samples sequenced to 1 m reads, multi-Z method showed 100% sensitivity and 95.6% specificity and the conventional NIPT method showed a result of 75.1% specificity. Conclusion: multi-Z method showed higher accuracy and robust results than the conventional method even at low coverage reads.

Importance: This post-marketing surveillance study was conducted to evaluate real-world information about the efficacy and safety of oral Tinefcon? tablets (Sphaeranthus indicus based) in plaque psoriasis patients. materials and methods: Patients aged at least 18 years and older with clinical diagnosis of plaque psoriasis, were enrolled in this open label, non-comparative, multicenter trial. All eligible subjects received four 700 mg Tinefcon? tablets/day for 12 weeks. The primary outcome measure was percent change in Psoriasis Area Severity Index (PASI) score from baseline to week 12. The secondary outcome measures were Physician Global Assessment (PGA), Nail Psoriasis Severity Index (NAPSI), Psoriatic Arthritis Evaluation and Gene Expression Profiling and Immunohistochemistry. Results: After completion of Tinefcon? treatment at 12 weeks, more than half of subjects (52%) achieved PASI 50 response;PASI 75 response was attained in 68 (23%) subjects and PASI 90 response in 22 (7%) subjects. Five subjects with severe psoriasis achieved PASI 90 without receiving any concomitant medication. Reduction in severity as assessed by PGA was observed in more than half of patients with moderate disease. Histopathological evaluation revealed that epidermal thickness was considerably reduced in 66% of subjects. The expression of inflammatory marker S100A9 protein was(meaningfully reduced in 60% patients with non-significant reduction of Keratin 10 protein expression. Gene expression analysis showed increase down regulation of SERPINB4;PI3 and KRT16 genes after a 12-week treatment period in subjects with higher PASI scores. Conclusion: Oral Tinefcon? tablets showed good efficacy and had a favorable safety profile in plaque psoriasis patients.

Cutaneous infectionwith Paecilomyces lilacinus is encountered worldwide, with most infections occurring either iatrogenically or in immunocompromisedhosts. We report three cases of cutaneous hyalohyphomycosis caused by P. lilacinus, one of which occurred in an immunocompetent individual. In addition, we review the 17 cases previously reported in the literature. Although this infection can be difficult to treat, most cases are not fatal. most cases responded well to systemic azole antifungal agents, either alone or in association with surgical excision of the lesion. Paecilomyces species are saprophytic fungi found in soil and decaying organic matter. Infection in humans is rare, but when it occurs treatment is often difficult. We report three cases of cutaneous hyalohyphomycosis caused by P. lilacinus and reviewthe 17 previously reported cases in which the clinical history and response to therapy were described.
