mastitis is an inflammatory immune reaction of the mammary *** is the most economically devastating disease affecting the world’s dairy *** of somatic cell count(SCC)is commonly used for monitoring the disease and also the quality of raw *** mastitic milk the concentration of blood serum albumin,immunoglobulin and lactoferrin increase whereas the content of lactose,casein and fat *** activity increases during mastitis because of higher activity of plasmin as the main proteolytic enzyme in mastitic milk, cathepsin B,cathepsin D,cathepsin G,elastase and the other *** main purpose of this research was to determine the effects of elevation in somatic cell counts on proteolysis of raw milk. Raw milk samples were collected from the dairy cattle in three different levels of ***, medium and high SCCs were considered as lower than 200000,200000 to 800000 and more than 800000 SCC,*** SCC,total nitrogen(TN),non casein nitrogen(NCN),casein nitrogen(CN),CN/TN were analyzed,and also casein proteolysis products were determined by gradient polyacrylamide *** study revealed that there wasn’t any significant difference between total nitrogen content in the raw milk with high and low SCC,but elevated SCC is associated with an increase in the concentration of NCN and a decrease in CN/TN. Electrophoresis study showed that bovine mastiffs increases the proteolytic activity of milk resulting in decreased amounts of α- casein and β-casein due to enzymatic *** can be concluded that by elevating the enzymatic activity in mastitic milk,hydrolysis of milk proteins, especially casein in high somatic cell milk samples occurs.

The chemical quality of set yoghurt produced from whole milk with different somatic cell counts(SCCs)was *** SCC(SCC＜200000 cells/ml),intermediate SCC (200000＜SCC＜800000 cells/ml)and high SCC(SCC＞800000 cells/ml)samples were obtained from selected cows quarter according to stage of lactation and age of the *** samples were analyzed on days 1,15,30 and 45 after production and the acidity,pH,total nitrogen(TN), non protein nitrogen(NPN),non casein nitrogen(NCN)and proteolysis index in yoghurt samples were *** result revealed that the SCC affects on pH,acidity,TN,NPN,NCN,and proteolysis index of the yoghurt(P＜0.05)and by increasing SCC,these factors in the resulting yoghurt changes dramatically during storage of products in refrigerator temperature for 45 d.

Tuning structural,electrical,dielectric and magnetic properties of mg-Cu-Co ferrites via dysprosium(Dy^(3+))doping

In current research work,Dy3+substituted mg0.5Cu0.25Co0.25Fe2-xDyxO4(0.0≤x≤0.04 with the step interval of 0.01)soft ferrites were synthesized by the sol-gel auto combustion *** prepared samples were characterized by the techniques using X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEm),energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS),Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy,curre nt-voltage(Ⅰ-Ⅴ)measurement,LCR meter,vibrating sample magnetometer(VSm)and *** data reveal that the average crystallite size is 49.71 nm and the lattice constant is 0.83703 nm for sample x=*** non-uniform grain growth was demonstrated by micrographs and impurity-free elemental composition was observed from EDX *** DC resistivity has an increasing and decreasing trend in ferromagnetic and paramagnetic regions with an increase in ***,the high resistivity is observed with the order of 1010Ω·cm,and the activation energy is 0.944 eV for samples x=*** dielectric parameters including dielectric constant,dielectric losses,and impedance gradually decrease with the increase in frequency from 8 Hz to 8 *** minimum dielectric loss at high frequency is found for sample x=*** coercivity(Hc)and saturation magnetization(ms)are found in the ranges of 520.82-544.02 Oe and 20.5841-21.1473 emu/g,*** observations confirm that dysprosium(x=0.03)doped mCC-soft ferrites may be applicable in transformer cores,microwave absorbance,and telecommunication devices.

Performance evaluation of laterite soil embankment stabilized with bottom ash,coir fiber,and lime

In tropical regions,heavy rainfall induces erosion and shallow landslides on road ***-based stabilization methods,common in these regions,contribute to climate change due to their high carbon *** study explored the potential application of coir fiber-reinforced laterite soil-bottom ash mixtures as embankment materials in the *** objective is to enhance engineered embankment slopes'erosion resistance and stability while offering reuse options for industrial *** study examined various mix designs for unconfined compressive strength(UCS)and permeability,utilizing 30%bottom ash(BA)and 1%coir fiber(CF)with varying sizes ranging from 10 to 40 mm,6%lime,and laterite soil(LS),followed by microstructural *** results demonstrate that the compressive strength increases as the CF length increases to 25 *** contrast,permeability increases continuously with increasing CF ***-treated mixtures exhibit superior short-and long-term strength and reduce permeability owing to the formation of cementitious materials,as confirmed by microstructural analyses.A lab-scale slope box was constructed to evaluate the surface erosion of the stabilized laterite soil *** on the rainfall simulation results,the LS-BA-CF mixtures show better resistance to erosion and deformation compared to untreated LS,especially when lime is added to the top *** study provides insights into a sustainable and cost-effective approach for slope stabilization using BA and CF,offering a promising solution for tropical regions susceptible to surface erosion and landslides.

Numerical study of flow and thermal characteristics of pulsed impinging jet on a dimpled surface

This research comprehensively investigates the flow and thermal characteristics of a pulsating impinging jet over a dimpled *** analyzes the impact of key parameters(e.g.,inlet velocity pulsation functions,pulsation frequency,amplitude,dimple pitch,dimple depth,Reynolds number)on flow patterns and heat *** computational fluid dynamics and the Re-normalization group turbulence model are employed to accurately simulate complex turbulent flow *** and average heat transfer coefficients are calculated and compared to steady impingement cases,revealing the potential benefits of pulsation for heat transfer *** study also examines how pulsation-induced flow modulation and thermal mixing affect heat transfer *** indicate that combining fluctuating flow with a dimpled surface can improve heat transfer *** summary,increasing pulsation amplitude consistently enhances heat transfer,while the effect of frequency varies between impinging and wall jet zones.

Three-dimensional seismic face stability of shield tunnels inundrained clay

Tunnel face stability has received increasing research interest over the past few decades. However, computing time-efficient and safethree-dimensional solutions under seismic loading is still an unsolved problem, while case studies indicate that seismic loading can be onecritical destabilizing factor affecting tunnel stability. The primary objective of this work is to fill this gap in knowledge by providing compromisingand computationally efficient solutions, along with their respective lower and upper bounds, to compute face stability underseismic conditions. The analyses employ the finite element limit analysis method to evaluate the limit support pressure in undrained clay,considering horizontal pseudo-static seismic forces pointing outwards from the face. moreover, the analyses employ both constant andlinearly increasing shear strengths with depth. The results are summarized as dimensionless stability charts and tables to facilitate theirinterpretation and future use for tunnel design. A new design equation has been developed to evaluate the stability of the tunnel faceconsidering the effect of seismic forces. Additionally, the effects of different parameters on the shape of the failure mechanism have beeninvestigated by analysing the distribution of shear dissipation.

TFN-FICFm:sEmG-Based Gesture Recognition Using Temporal Fusion Network and Fuzzy Integral-based Classifier Fusion

Surface electromyography(sEmG)-based gesture recognition is a key technology in the field of human–computer ***,existing gesture recognition methods face challenges in effectively integrating discriminative temporal feature representations from sEmG *** this paper,we propose a deep learning framework named TFN-FICFm comprises a Temporal Fusion Network(TFN)and Fuzzy Integral-Based Classifier Fusion method(FICFm)to improve the accuracy and robustness of gesture ***,we design a TFN module,which utilizes an attention-based recurrent multi-scale convolutional module to acquire multi-level temporal feature representations and achieves deep fusion of temporal features through a feature pyramid ***,the deep-fused temporal features are utilized to generate multiple sets of gesture category prediction confidences through a feedback ***,we employ FICFm to perform fuzzy fusion on prediction confidences,resulting in the ultimate *** study conducts extensive comparisons and ablation studies using the publicly available datasets Ninapro DB2 and *** demonstrate that the TFN-FICFm model outperforms state-of-the-art methods in classification *** research can serve as a benchmark for sEmG-based gesture recognition and related deep learning modeling.

In this paper,the dust particle surface potential for argon-helium plasma is evaluated analytically and numerically in the context of negatively charged dust particles by employing a power-law(r,q)-distribution *** studies have reported the argon-helium plasma and conducted a brief theoretical and experimental *** deepen our understanding further,this study aims to analyze the argon-helium plasma comprehensively using the same pattern but with the(r,q)-distribution *** this purpose,the current balance equations are derived for electron,helium and argon ions,when these charge species attain the quasineutrality *** numerically examined the currents of plasma species for a broad range of effective distribution function parameters r and *** is revealed that the surface potential of dust particles is significantly affected by the parameters r and q,helium ion-to-electron temperature ratio,argon ion-to-electron temperature ratio,and helium ion to argon ion number density *** incorporating the multi-ion(argon-helium)species,the significance of low-temperature nonmaxwellian dusty(complex)plasma is briefly examined.
