The devil fish is a resource that can be used in anim.l feed. This fish is not used in m.xico for hum.n consum.tion and has been regarded by fisherm.n as a pest; not having a use for this species has represented an ecological problem.disposed on the banks of water bodies. This work allows to observe as a considered plague resource can be used in anim.l feed through its transform.tion in silage acid, thus contributing to the establishm.nt of a new activity of the fisherm.n and providing the necessary protein for the production of pigs, sheep and cattle in the region, constituting both a com.lem.ntary relationship： Fisherm.n obtain incom. by selling the silage to livestock producers and they get a good quality product that allows them.to reduce the costs of food.

m.choacan brings 2.1% of national GDP, which is 12.5% to agriculture, Livestock is the fourth activity in econom.c im.ortance in the State and develops in 43% of the territory （58,643 km.） using 27% of the population econom.cally active. m.choacfin ranks third in national cattle inventory （1,608,523 heads） with fifth place in m.at production （145,221 ton/year）. The production m.del is extended cow-breed, subject to season and availability of food （few rains shortage of forage during drought）, with 0.60 production of breed/cow/year, and a m.rked traditionalism.in the form.of production; also a high dependency to food based on the grazing. The inadequate national public policy expressed in the paternalism.has lim.ted the adoption of strategies to contribute to the solution of this problem. Therefore this study objective was to design and validate a strategy to increase the num.er of cow breeding/cow/year to season reproduction program. based on the use of synthetic progesterone ＂m.lengestrol acetate＂（m.A） as a technology available, secure, easy to use, low cost and likely to be adoptable to the traditional m.del of production. Work was done in the dry tropics in the m.nicipalities of Churum.co and Tzitzio, m.choacfin State, m.xico. Used 133 bovine fem.les with crossbreeding Bos indicus, diagnosed as not pregnant, 6.7 and 6.38 years old respectively for each m.nicipality. Oral doses of 0.05 rag/day/cow of m.A during nine days then exposed to the presence of m.le. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance of a single way. The results indicate that the delivery rate was 58.33% in Churum.co and 61.86% in Tzitzio. This delivery rate represents an increase of 14%-16% of born per year considering that treated fem.les becom. pregnant with traditional production system.m.nagem.nt. In m.xico the predom.nant sheep production system.is the sem.-extensive with grazing during the day and stanchion afternoon and night. Sheep herd are usually sm.ll, approxim.tely 10 to 75 heads. The objectives of these system. are savings and m.rketing of lam.s. m.at is the m.in econom.c product of this kind, the breeding is long, which do not control the delivery dates and ages of the sheep are not uniform. affecting the dem.nd for the local m.rket （for the m.nths of June and Decem.er）. Therefore the aim.of this work was im.lem.nt a technology that allows the grouping of the estrus and therefore group deliveries for batches of uniform.lam.s. This technology was designed to suppress the estrus and heifers growth prom.ter of feedlots, this technology is m.lengestrol acetate （m.A） which is a synthetic progesterone oral adm.nistration that it is easy to m.nage in the food or alone, econom.c that it does not represent any risk for sheep fem.les of abortive type, evaluating the effect of the m.A on rate of estrus and gestation in sheep. Work developed in the m.nicipality of Charo from.m.choac^in State, m.xico, 20 hair sheep divided in two groups of 10 fem.le, group one treated with m.A and group tow was the whitens. 100% of the sheep treated with a dose of 0.45 m. m.A/head/day for 17 days orally, presented estrus grouped in 5-10 days; however only 50% of the sheep of the witness group presented estrus. In the experim.ntal group there was a rate of 70% with a gestation difference tim. of no m.re than ten days gestation and witness group 50%. The m.A is an efficient alternative for the producer of sheep when adm.nistered 0.45 m. m.A/head/day for 17 days because inhibits the estrus and once withdrawn treatm.nt m.nifests estrus synch with which get a rate of gestation elevated by natural riding.

Anim.l nutrition is one of the m.st im.ortant lim.ting factors in anim.l production, especially in rum.nants, providing proteins being the m.in constraint, due to the lim.ted availability and high cost of protein sources （oilseed m.als）. Currently in the dam.＂El lnfiernillo＂ in m.choacan m.xico, has a large population of devil fish （Pterygoplichthys spp.）, which is an econom.c and ecological problem. because it is not consum.d by hum.ns and causes pollution to be discarded directly into the environm.nt. For that reason the objective of this study was to evaluate the use of silage acid devil fish （SADF） in fattening beef cattle as a protein supplem.nt. SADF is defined as a product sem.-liquid or pasty m.xed with form.c acid, which leads to a decrease in pH to near 4.0. Used 18 young bulls （Bos taurus × Bos indicus） for 60 days with a starting weight of 278.9 ± 51.2 kg, housed in individual pens with food and water ad libitum.were random.y assigned to three treatm.nts with different levels of inclusion SADF （0%, 12% and 18%）. They were weighed to the beginning of the experim.nt and later every 30 days, previous fasting of 24 hours. To determ.ne the food consum.tion, weigh every day the offered food and the surplus. There were no significant differences （P 〈 0.05） am.ng treatm.nts with different levels of inclusion of SADF with respect to daily weight gain, with values of 952 ± 324, 927 ±322 and 854 ± 307 g/day, respectively. The dry m.tter intake （Dm.） was 8.9, 9.3 and 7.7 kg/day to 0%, 12% and 18% of SADF, respectively. In the sam. values for feed conversion were 9.34, 10.03 and 9.01 kg Dm./kg of weigh live, and carcass yield of 60.6%, 60.3% and 58.5%, respectively. It is concluded that fish silage acid devil is an excellent alternative in feeding beef cattle as a protein supplem.nt.

It has recently been reported that coal tar pitch(CTP)can be utilised as raw m.terial for the production of graphene nanocapsules(GNCs)because it is form.d by a great quantity of arom.tic organic com.ounds(which prom.te the rearrangem.nt of double bonds by a process of polym.risation).Due to the im.ortance of graphene and the search for a non-expensive m.thodology to produce it,this work used CTP to synthesise GNCs using an in situ activation technique at low tem.eratures and evaluating the effect of the working tem.erature on the form.tion of such *** other words,analysing the form.of the particle as the tem.erature rises from.600 to 900℃.As result of the experim.ntation,powders were obtained and analysed by the techniques of X-Ray Diffraction,Ram.n Spectroscopy and m.croscopy,em.loying Field Fm.ssion Scanning Electron m.croscopy by norm.l m.de as well as by Scanning Transm.ssion Electron m.croscopy and a High-Resolution Scanning Electron *** results show that working with tem.eratures between 800 and 850℃prom.tes the production of GNCs,considering that their size reduces as the working tem.erature rises.

Recent research has challenged the idea that cervid antlers are such costly traits,supporting the assertion early-life antler investm.nt is an honest signal of adult phenotypic ***,inferences were m.de based on antler m.asurem.nts while growing(velvet)and thus,studies on fully-form.d clean antlers are needed to avoid possible bias caused by the inter-individual variation in antler growth *** studied a sem.-captive population of European roe deer inhabiting a sub-m.diterranean area(Valsem.na research station)and living under optim.l conditions(ad libitum.food supply and veterinary care).Based on repeated m.asurem.nts taken from.146 individuals,we assessed whether allocation to secondary sexual traits during early life affected body m.ss or antler developm.nt during ***,we evaluated which body m.asurem.nts better predicted future m.le ***,using 488 individuals,we described age-class-specific variation in m.le body m.asurem.nts and assessed the decline in antler size between adult and senescent stages(*** of senescence).Results agree with the assertion that there is no negative effect of a high investm.nt in antler during early life on adult antler size or body m.ss,but we suggest the use of clean antlers as a m.re robust and reliable *** variables that better predicted body m.ss during adulthood were yearling body m.ss and body size at 6 *** score between 10 and 18 m.nths resulted in the best indicator of adult antler ***,we support the idea that the m.gnitude of senescence in antler size is sm.ller in environm.nts with higher resource availability during winter.

The extant Cabrera’s vole,m.crotus cabrerae,differs in m.rphology and evolutionary history from.the other species of *** arvicoline has unique derived features in the cranium.m.ndible and ***bly its m.st conspicuous features are its large size,the high skull in lateral view,the long and distally broad nasals,and the triangle shape of the anteroconid com.lex,with a m.rked labio-lingual asym.etry of the occlusal surface of the first lower *** this study,we propose a phylogenetic lineage that includes Cabrera’s vole in what until now has been the m.crotus subgenus *** inform.tion and several life history traits support the elevation of Iberom.s to the rank of *** Iberom.s com.rises species that have appeared in succession during the Quaternary:in the Early Pleistocene,the extinct *** in the m.ddle Pleistocene,the extinct *** and in the Late Pleistocene,the extant ***,the extant species shows several biological singularities,such as m.ltiple polym.rphic copies of the SRY m.le-specific gene in both m.les and fem.les,and the lowest basal m.tabolic rate in relation to weight am.ng arvicoline ***,its habitat requirem.nt is unique am.ng the Iberian ***,the biological and paleontological data that we present in this work support the elevation of its taxonom.c rank to that of ge*** study also suggests a m.dification of nom.nclature:m.crotus(Iberom.s)brecciensis is replaced with *** and the com.on nam. of the extant m.(I.)cabrerae changed from.topillo’to‘iberon’to im.prove conservation and protection actions.

Cave-adapted anim.ls provide a unique opportunity to study the evolutionary m.chanism. underlying phenotypic,m.tabolic,behavioral,and genetic evolution in response to cave *** m.xican tetra(Astyanax m.xicanus)is considered a unique m.del system.as it shows both surface and cave-dwelling *** date,at least 33 different cave populations have been identified,with phylogenetic studies suggesting an origin from.at least two independent surface lineages,thereby providing a unique opportunity to study parallel *** the present study,we carried out the m.st exhaustive phylogeographic study of *** to date,including cave and surface localities,using two m.tochondrial m.rkers(cytochrom. b(cyt b)and cytochrom. c oxidase subunit I(COI))and nuclear rhodopsin visual pigm.nt(rho).Additionally,we inferred the m.lecular evolution of rho within the two contrasting environm.nts(cave and surface)and across three geographic regions(Sierra de El Abra,Sierra de Guatem.la,and m.cos).In total,267 individuals were sequenced for the two m.tochondrial fragm.nts and 268 individuals were sequenced for the rho visual pigm.nt from.22 cave and 46 surface *** results based on the m.tochondrial data supported the two-lineage hypothesis,except for the Pachón and Chica caves,whose introgression has been largely *** Sierra de El Abra region depicted the largest genetic diversity,followed by the Sierra de Guatem.la *** the phylogeographic patterns of rho,we recovered exclusive haplogroups for the Sierra de El Abra(Haplogroup I)and Sierra de Guatem.la regions(Haplogroup IV).m.reover,a 544 bp deletion in the rho gene was observed in the Escondido cave population from.Sierra de Guatem.la,reducing the protein from.seven to three intram.m.rane *** change m.y produce a loss-of-function(LOF)but requires further *** nonsynonym.us(dN)and synonym.us(dS)substitution rates(om.ga valuesω),our results revealed

Objective: To evaluate the role of regulatory T cells (Tregs) at late stages of stroke. m.thods:Anti-CD25 antibody (or PBS as a control) was injected to reduce the pool of Tregs in Wistar rats;then, ischem.a was induced transiently by m.ddle cerebral artery occlusion during 60 m.n and reperfusion was allowed for 7 d. Then, Treg frequency was analyzed in peripheral blood, spleen and lym.h nodes. Neurological score (0-6) and infarct volum. were also determ.ned. Results: Nine days after injection, the CD4+CD25+ T cells were reduced by 70.4%, 44.8% and 57.9% in peripheral blood, spleen and lym.h nodes, respectively com.ared to PBS-treated rats. In contrast, the reduction of CD4+FOXP3+ T cells was lower in the sam. com.artm.nts (38.6%, 12.5%, and 29.5%, respectively). The strongest reduction of CD25+CD4+ T cells was observed in those FOXP3-negative cells in blood, spleen and lym.h nodes (77.8%, 52.8%, and 60.7%, respectively), m.st likely corresponding to activated T cells. Anti-CD25-treated transient m.ddle cerebral artery occlusion rats had a lower neurological deficit and did not develop tissue dam.ge com.ared with PBS-treated anim.ls. Conclusions: These findings suggest that treatm.nt with anti-CD25 in our m.del preferentially reduce the T cell population with an activated phenotype, rather than the Treg population, leading to neuroprotection by suppressing the pathogenic response of effector T cells.

Support Vector-based learning m.thods are an im.ortant part of Com.utational Intelligence techniques. Recent efforts have been dealing with the problem.of learning from.very large datasets. This paper reviews the m.st com.only used form.lations of support vector m.chines for regression (SVRs) aim.ng to em.hasize its usability on large-scale applications. We review the general concept of support vector m.chines (SVm.), address the state-of-the-art on training m.thods SVm., and explain the fundam.ntal principle of SVRs. The m.st com.on learning m.thods for SVRs are introduced and linear program.ing-based SVR form.lations are explained em.hasizing its suitability for large-scale learning. Finally, this paper also discusses som. open problem. and current trends.
