A novel diurnal and seasonal variation analysis of bTEX in bengaluru urban area

In the urban atm.sphere of bengaluru, various volatile organic com.ounds(VOCs), particularly benzene,Toluene, Ethylbenzene, and Xylene(bTEX), have shown an increasing trend in concentration. The present research was conducted during sum.er and m.nsoon seasons, focusing on Kadubeesanahalli, a high-traffic area within the bengaluru m.tropolitan City. Hourly sam.le data was collected using a bTEX analyzer(m.del GC955-600) and subsequently transform.d into daily, m.nthly, and seasonal values. The study revealed distinct patterns in benzene concentrations. benzene levels were lowest during the early m.rning hours, specifically from.1:00 *** 7:00 a.m.. Concentrations then increased from.7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and again from.4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.,corresponding to the m.rning and evening peak traffic hours. However, between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., the concentration decreased due to reduced traffic levels. These diurnal variations in benzene concentration are influenced by m.teorological param.ters. Com.aring the two seasons, higher concentrations of benzene, Ethylbenzene, and m.-xylene were observed during the sum.er season. This increase is attributed to the elevated tem.eratures during sum.er, which prom.te the vaporization of bTEX com.ounds. Conversely, lower bTEX concentrations were recorded during the m.nsoon season due to the wet deposition process. The observed positive correlation(r > 0.5) am.ng bTEX param.ters strongly suggests a com.on source, m.st likely originating from.vehicular em.ssions.

The prevalence of hum.n im.unodeficiency virus (AIDS) and hepatitis b virus am.ng heavy truck drivers and their assistants has been well docum.nted globally in correlation with their behavioral characteristics. The present study aim.d to screen for hum.n im.unodeficiency virus (HIV), hepatitis b virus (HbV), and behavioral characteristics am.ng heavy truck drivers in Port Sudan. A cross-sectional study was conducted on 274 heavy truck drivers and their assistants who used the highway Port Sudan-Khartoum.in Port Sudan city during 2019-2021. Data on behavioral characteristics and substance use habits were collected using a structured questionnaire, and an ELISA test was used to screen for HIV and HbV infections in the study participants. The chi-square test, odds ratio, and confidence intervals were used to find the association between behavioral characteristics and seropositive HIV/HbV. Of the 274 enrolled participants, the seroprevalence rates of HIV were 2.7% and HbV was 23.7%. Ninety-four (34.3%) of them.had a history of high-risk sexual behavior outside of m.rriage;only two (0.7%) used condom.;14.2% of participants reported alcohol use;and 1.1% reported drug use. Univariate analysis revealed that having a sex history outside of m.rriage with ≥1 sex partner and never using a condom.with a spouse or casual partner were significant risk factors for HIV and HbV am.ng drivers. Fortunately, we found that m.st of the drivers reported low alcohol and drug use. Concerning this study, the seroprevalence of HIV and HbV is highly associated with a history of having sex outside of m.rriage and sexual behavior am.ng truck drivers and assistances. Additional studies are needed to further investigate other STIs and behavioral characteristics associated with factors in truck drivers/assistance in different truck stop regions in Sudan.

研究激光粉末床熔融增材制造(Am.(又称直接金属激光烧结)技术制备的Ti6Al4V合金等离子体电解氧化(PEO)处理及其电化学行为。通过短时间(m.金和传统合金表面制备了3~10μm.、含Ca和P的涂层。然后在改良的α-m.m.液中,通过动电位极化曲线和电化学阻抗谱(EIS)评估了合金的电化学行为。与传统合金相比,Am.金中形成了细小的层片状α显微组织和层间小尺寸的β相颗粒,这促使了火花的产生,从而促进了PEO涂层的生长。闪速PEO涂层提高了传统合金和Am.金的耐腐蚀性,最薄的涂层(m.提供了高达3倍的保护。Am.Ti6Al4V由于其高的晶界密度,易受局部缝隙腐蚀的影响。而即使短至35 s的闪速PEO处理也足以成功避免这种情况。

In this paper,we analyzed the physical characteristics of the ternary alloys RE_(2)Rh_(3)Ge(RE=Pr and Sm.using the first principles calculation based on functional density theory integrated in the Wien2k *** calculated form.tion energies of Pr_(2)Rh_(3)Ge and Sm.(2)Rh_(3)Ge are−5.3827 and−5.2782 eV/atom.respectively,showing that these alloys m.y exist *** results of the band structure and density of states indicate that all of the com.ounds tested are m.gnetic m.tals,and their m.gnetism.is m.stly related to the contribution of Pr and Sm.*** total m.gnetic m.m.nts of Pr_(2)Rh_(3)Ge and Sm.(2)Rh_(3)Ge are 4.07245 and 11.16161μb/f.u,*** param.ters such as heat capacity at constant pressure,entropy,Debye tem.erature,lattice volum.,com.ressibility coefficients,and Grüneisen param.ter alloys were calculated using the Gibbs algorithm.and studied in depth over a large tem.erature range of 0-900 *** Debye tem.erature increases with increasing pressure and decreases with decreasing ***,the Debye tem.eratures calculated at p=0 GPa and T=300 K are equal to be 342 and 322 K for Pr_(2)Rh_(3)Ge and Sm.(2)Rh_(3)Ge,*** optical characteristics such as the real and im.ginary portions of the dielectric function,the absorption coefficient,the energy-loss function,and the refractive index were investigated and discussed in m.re depth.

In this study,the spectroscopic param.ters of exotic m.lecular states com.osed of m.sons containing two heavy quarks(scalar-axial and pseudoscalar-axial m.son com.inations)are investigated within the QCD sum.*** findings reveal that m.lecular states containing charm.quarks do not form.bound states,whereas states with b-quarks can form.exotic m.lecular *** observation has significant im.lications for understanding the structure of these exotic states.
