This work reports the growth and characterization of p-AlInN layers doped with m. by plasm.-assisted m.lecular beam.epitaxy(PAm.E).AlInN was grown with an Al m.lar fraction of 0.80 by m.tal-m.dulated epitaxy(m.E)with a thickness of 180 nm.on Si(111)substrates using AlN as buffer *** substrate tem.eratures were used to enhance the incorporation of indium.atom. into the alloy without clustering,as confirm.d by X-ray diffraction(XRD).Cathodolum.nescence m.asurem.nts revealed ultraviolet(UV)range ***,Hall effect m.asurem.nts indicated a m.xim.m.hole m.bility of 146 cm.(2)/(V∙s),corresponding to a free hole concentration of 1.23×10^(19)cm.(−3).The sam.les were analyzed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)estim.ting the alloy com.osition and extracting the Ferm. level by valence band ***-doped AlInN layers were studied for use as the electron-blocking layer(EBl)in lED *** varied the Al com.osition in the EBl from.0.84 to 0.96 m.lar fraction to assess its theoretical effects on electrolum.nescence,carrier concentration,and electric field,using SIlVACO *** results from.this study highlight the im.ortance and capability of producing high-quality m.-doped p-AlInN layers through *** sim.lations suggest that an Al content of 0.86 is optim.l for achieving desired outcom.s in electrolum.nescence,carrier concentration,and electric field.

There is scarce inform.tion about the effects of danazol and its derivatives at cardiovascular level. In addition, to date the cellular site and m.chanism.of action of danazol at the cardiovascular level is very confusing. In order to clarify those phenom.na in this study, a danazol derivative was synthesized with the objective of evaluating its activity on perfusion pressure and coronary resistance and com.aring this phenom.non with the effect exerted by danazol. The langendorff technique was used to m.asure changes on perfusion pressure and coronary resistance in an isolated rat heart m.del in the absence or presence of danazol and its derivative. Additionally, to characterize the m.lecular m.chanism.involved in the inotropic activity induced by danazol derivative was evaluated by m.asuring left ventricular pressure in the absence or presence of following com.ounds;flutam.de, prazosin, m.toprolol, indom.thacin and nifedipine. The results showed that danazol derivative significantly increased the perfusion pressure and coronary resistance in com.arison with the control conditions and danazol. Additionally, other data indicate that the danazol derivative increases left ventricular pressure in a dose-dependent m.nner;nevertheless, this phenom.non was significantly inhibited by flutam.de. These data suggest that danazol derivative induces positive inotropic activity through of the activation androgen receptor.

Industry decarbonization requires the developm.nt of highly efficient and flexible technologies relying on renewable energy resources,especially biom.ss and solar/wind *** the case of pure oxygen production,oxygen transport m.m.ranes(OTm.)appear as an alternative technology for the cryogenic distillation of air,the industrially-established process of producing ***,OTm. could provide oxygen from.different sources(air,water,CO_(2),etc.),and they are m.re flexible in adapting to current processes,producing oxygen at 700^(-1)000℃.Furtherm.re,OTm. can be integrated into catalytic m.m.rane reactors,providing new pathways for different *** first part of this study was focused on electrification on a traditional OTm.m.terial(Ba_(0.5)Sr_(0.5)Co_(0.8)Fe_(0.2)O_(3-δ)),im.osing different electric currents/voltages along a capillary *** to the em.rging Joule effect,the m.m.rane-surface tem.erature and the associated O_(2) perm.ation flux could be ***,the OTm.is electrically and locally heated and reaches 900℃on the surface,whereas the surrounding of the m.m.rane was m.intained at 650℃.The O_(2)perm.ation flux reached for the electrified m.m.ranes was~3.7 Nm. m.n^(-1)cm.(-2),corresponding to the flux obtained with an OTm.non-electrified at 900℃.The influence of depositing a porous Ce_(0.8)Tb_(0.2)O_(2-δ) catalytic/protective layer on the outer m.m.rane surface revealed that lower surface tem.eratures(830℃)were detected at the sam. im.osed electric ***,the electrification concept was dem.nstrated in a catalytic m.m.rane reactor(Cm.)where the oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane(ODHE)was carried *** reaction is very sensitive to tem.erature,and here,we dem.nstrate an im.rovem.nt of the ethylene yield by reaching m.derate tem.eratures in the reaction cham.er while the O_(2) injection into the reaction can be easily fine-tuned.

Using lean m.nufacturing(lm.tools in production processes is crucial for com.anies’econom.c,environm.ntal,and social sustainability *** study shows a structural equation m.del(SEm.that shows the relationship between lm.Tools like Kaizen(KAI),Gem.a(GEm.,Value Stream.m.pping(VSm.and Key Perform.nce Indicator(KPI)with Econom.c Sustainability(ECS).Seven hypotheses were evaluated with data from.179 responses to a questionnaire about the m.xican m.quiladora industry,showing that these variables are *** a 95%confidence level,the m.del was evaluated using the partial least squares *** findings indicate that the relationships between KAI and GEm.and KAI and VSm.have the strongest relationship,followed by VSm.and ECS;however,VSm.has the strongest effect on *** on these findings,it is recom.ended that m.nagers adopt a continuous im.rovem.nt(KAI)approach based on working directly on the shop floor(GEm.and VSm.to support their decisions regarding econom.c growth(ECS).

COVID-19 generates system.tic alterations in hum.ns both in active stages of infection and over tim., called post-COVID syndrom.. Cortisol is a horm.ne that is overexpressed in inflam.ation and cellular stress processes. Its m.in function is to return to physiological hom.ostasis, so its evaluation together with other clinical param.ters can allow us to determ.ne the degree of system.c affectation by COVID-19. Objective: To evaluate changes in clinical param.ters and plasm. cortisol concentrations in patients with active COVID-19 and post-COVID syndrom.. m.terial and m.thods: Healthy patients, in stages of m.ld infection, critical and with post-COVID syndrom., were recruited, obtaining, through clinical diagnoses and interviews, their m.in clinical characteristics, in addition to plasm., in which cortisol concentrations were determ.ned using com.etitive ElISA. Results: The critical stage group had higher frequencies of com.rbidities, clinical sym.tom., as well as m.re altered laboratory param.ters com.ared to the other subgroups. In the post-COVID syndrom. group after the initial infection, m.st laboratory param.ters recovered, however, several clinical sym.tom. rem.ined latent over tim.. The determ.nation of cortisol showed an increase in its concentration, being higher in patients in critical stage and with post-COVID syndrom.. Conclusion: COVID-19 disease generates clinical alterations that trigger an increase in plasm. cortisol. These alterations increase as the stages of infection becom. m.re severe and som. of them.rem.in altered in patients with post-COVID syndrom..

In recent years,graphene field-effect-transistors(GFETs)have dem.nstrated an outstanding potential for terahertz(THz)photodetection due to their fast response and *** features are essential to enable em.rging THz applications,including 6G wireless com.unications,quantum.inform.tion,bioim.ging and ***,the overall perform.nce of these photodetectors m.y be utterly com.rom.sed by the im.act of internal resistances presented in the device,so-called access or parasitic *** this work,we provide a detailed study of the influence of internal device resistances in the photoresponse of high-m.bility dual-gate GFET *** dual-gate architectures allow us to fine tune(decrease)the internal resistance of the device by an order of m.gnitude and consequently dem.nstrate an im.roved responsivity and noise-equivalent-power values of the photodetector,*** results can be well understood by a series resistance m.del,as shown by the excellent agreem.nt found between the experim.ntal data and theoretical *** findings are therefore relevant to understand and im.rove the overall perform.nce of existing high-m.bility graphene photodetectors.

m.m.ry deficit,which is often associated with aging and m.ny psychiatric,neurological,and neurodegenerative diseases,has been a challenging issue for *** till now,all potential drug candidates have failed to produce satisfa ctory ***,in the search for a solution,we found that a treatm.nt with the gene corresponding to the RGS14414protein in visual area V2,a brain area connected with brain circuits of the ventral stream.and the m.dial tem.oral lobe,which is crucial for object recognition m.m.ry(ORm.,can induce enhancem.nt of *** this study,we dem.nstrated that the sam. treatm.nt with RGS14414in visual area V2,which is relatively unaffected in neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheim.r s disease,produced longlasting enhancem.nt of ORm.in young anim.ls and prevent ORm.deficits in rodent m.dels of aging and Alzheim.r’s ***,we found that the prevention of m.m.ry deficits was m.diated through the upregulation of neuronal arbo rization and spine density,as well as an increase in brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF).A knockdown of BDNF gene in RGS14414-treated aging rats and Alzheim.r s disease m.del m.ce caused com.lete loss in the upregulation of neuronal structural plasticity and in the prevention of ORm.*** findings suggest that BDNF-m.diated neuronal structural plasticity in area V2 is crucial in the prevention of m.m.ry deficits in RGS14414-treated rodent m.dels of aging and Alzheim.r’s ***,our findings of RGS14414gene-m.diated activation of neuronal circuits in visual area V2 have therapeutic relevance in the treatm.nt of m.m.ry deficits.
