Five perovsk.te ceram.cs sam.les of Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)SnO_(3) with.x=0.00,0.05,0.10,0.15,and 0.20 were synth.sized using th. conventional solid-state reaction *** prepared sam.les were ch.racterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform. infrared(FTIR),and UV-Vis *** sh.elding properties against ionizing radiation were also *** XRD analysis sh.ws th. perovsk.te cubic structure as th. m.jor ph.se in all *** FTIR reveals a distinctive band around 614-620 cm.(-1) ascribed to th. antisym.etric O-Sn-O ***-Vis spectroscopy was used to determ.ne th. bandgap according to diffuse reflectance,and th. results display a fixed enh.ncem.nt in th. bandgap from.3.2 to 3.3 eV for all ***-ray sh.elding properties of th. synth.sized sam.les were experim.ntally m.asured and com.ared with.XCOm.com.utational *** relative differences(Δ,%)between experim.ntal and th.o retical values are low and fall with.n th. 0.446%-7.10%*** addition of Er leads to th. enh.nced density,neutron,and gam.a sh.elding *** contrast,ch.rged particles’sh.elding param.ters gradually reduce with.rising Er *** results suggest th.t Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)SnO_(3) sam.les can be used in different radiation sh.elding applications.

Th. use of antibiotics in h.m.ns and anim.ls h.s been m.rk.d as a significant step in h.alth.due to th.ir effectiveness in controlling and treating bacterial infections. Th. m.suse and overuse of antibiotics h.ve been identified as risk.factors for bacterial resistance since m.croorganism. adapt and develop m.ch.nism. to defend against antibiotics. According to th. Centers for Disease Protection and Control (CDC), around 23,000 individuals die every year in th. United States due to antibiotic resistance com.lications. As a result, a dem.nd for alternative treatm.nts h.s been a goal for scientists as th. m.crobes adapt to selective pressure. Th. aim.of th.s study is to test th. antibacterial activity of leaf extracts of Peganum.h.rm.la and h.loxylon salicornicum.on both.Gram.positive and Gram.negative bacteria on various m.dium.. Th. results of th. study sh.wed th.t both.P. h.rm.la and h. salicornicum.inh.bited th. bacterial growth.in two different m.dia. Th. results were also com.ared with.different com.on antibiotics used in both.h.m.n’s and anim.l’s fields and sh.wed a prom.sing outcom. as alternative antibiotics.

h.gh.y pure red ph.sph.rs Lim.PO_(3))_(3):Eu^(3+)(m.Sr,Ca) doped with.Eu^(3+)(1 m.l%) were synth.sized via solution com.ustion m.th.d and th.ir crystal structure and lum.nescence dynam.cs were studied to explore its suitability in wh.te ligh. em.tting *** Rietveld refinem.nt analysis of th. powder Xray diffraction patterns reveals th.t th. ph.sph.rs belong to th. pure triclinic ph.se of LiSr(PO_(3))_(3) and LiCa(PO_(3)) with.space group P-1(2).Th. scanning electron m.croscopy im.ges sh.wed th. agglom.rated *** ph.tolum.nescence em.ssion spectra under 393 nm.sh.w an orange band at 594 nm.and a red band at 613 nm.ascribed to ^(5)D_(0)→^(7)F_(1).^(5)D_(0)→^(7)F_(2) transitions of Eu^(3+)ion in both.th. ***,th. spectroscopic properties such.as lum.nescence beh.viour,and Stark.splitting were used to exam.ne th. sym.etry of Eu^(3+)ions in Lim.PO_(3))_(3):Es^(3+)(m.Sr,Ca) ph.sph.rs in term. of distortion induced upon *** Stark.splitting sh.ws th.t th. actual site sym.etry for Eu^(3+)ion was estim.ted to be D_(2) type for both.*** ph.tom.tric properties of LiCa(PO_(3))_(3):Eu^(3+)such.as Com.ission International de l'Eclairage coordinates(x=0.64,y=0.36) near to th. standard one(red),h.gh.color purity(95%) and h.gh.r brigh.ness reveal th.t th. ph.sph.r h.s th. capability of acting as a red com.onent in n-UV wh.te ligh. em.tting diodes.
