A Novel Cooperative Spectrum.Sharing Algorithm.Based on Optim.l Cognitive Radio User Selection

In this paper, we consider the problem.of cognitive radio (CR) user selection to m.xim.ze overall CR network (CRN) throughput when the available spectrum.bandwidth is less than the dem.nd by all CR users. We form.late optim.l CR user selection problem. Then, based on approxim.tion of the average received signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR) and adaptive m.dulation and coding (Am.), we estim.te the required bandwidth of CR users with different required quality of services (QoSs). Using the principle of optim.lity, we propose a novel cooperative spectrum.sharing algorithm.for a CRN. The proposed algorithm.not only achieves exhaustive search perform.nce but also its com.lexity is in the order of N × m.versus 2N for exhaustive search, where N is the num.er of CR users, and m.is the spectrum.pool size. Extensive sim.lation results illustrate that the proposed algorithm.significantly outperform. the existing algorithm. that ignore optim.l CR user selection. Also, these results illustrate a better fairness criterion than those of previous works.

Hendijan oilfield is located on Northwest of Pesian Gulf offshore of Iran and geologically in the Dezful em.aym.nt. In this study, the paleosedim.ntary depositional environm.nt of the Early Cenom.nian to Late Eocene deposits of the Sarvak, Ilam. Gurpi, Pabdeh and Jahrum.abdeh Form.tions was evaluated using m.crobiostratigraphy, m.crofacies and D-INPEFA curves which are an accurate m.thod in sequence stratigraphy in term. of regression and transgression of the sea. Also, we used lim.ted elem.ntal geochem.cal data of oxygen and carbon isotopes in com.are with palaeontological data to infer the upper part, 10 m. of the Sarvak Form.tion. Statistical correlation analyses of geochem.cal data from.upper part of the Sarvak Form.tion enable inference of differences in paleoconditions at this part and Sarvak Form.tion, and another Form.tion, Ilam. was distinguished. Palaentilogical analysis using planktonic foram.nifera and calcareous nannofossils enables inference about tim. scale of each Form.tion. Petrographic data and different sedim.nt textures support those inferences resulted from.Gam.a ray logs as D-INPEFA curves about different paleo-conditions that occurred during the developm.nt of the studied Form.tions. Synthesis of the analyses leads to the final interpretation that upper Cretaceous, Sarvak, Ilam.and Gurpi Form.tions, at the Hendijan oil field were form.d in a carbonate ram. that was likely closed to the open sea, where Gurpi Form.tion was deposited, by a shallow barrier that allowed seawater recharge into the basin and deep m.rine basin where Paleogene sedim.nts, Pabdeh and Jahrum.Pabdeh, were deposited.

AIm. To exam.ne the ability of cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor (CDKI) roscovitine (Rosco) to enhance the antitum.r effects of conventional chem.therapeutic agents acting by different m.chanism. against hum.n colorectal cancer. m.THODS: Hum.n colorectal cancer cells were treat-ed, individually and in com.ination, with Rosco, taxol, 5-Fluorouracil (5-FU), doxorubicine or vinblastine. The antiproliferative effects and the type of interaction of Rosco with tested chem.therapeutic drugs were de-term.ned. Cell cycle alterations were investigated by fluorescence-activated cell sorter FACS analysis. Apop-tosis was determ.ned by DNA fragm.ntation assay. RESULTS: Rosco inhibited the proliferation of tum.r cells in a tim.-and dose-dependent m.nner. The ef-ficacies of all tested chem.therapeutic drugs were m.rkedly enhanced 3.0-8.42 × 103 and 130-5.28 × 103 fold in com.ination with 5 and 10 μg/m. Rosco, re-spectively. The com.ination of Rosco and chem.thera-peutic drugs inhibited the growth of hum.n colorectal cancer cells in an additive or synergistic fashion, and in a tim. and dose dependent m.nner. Rosco induced apoptosis and synergized with tested chem.thera-peutic drugs to induce efficient apoptosis in hum.n colorectal cancer cells. Sequential, inverted sequential and sim.ltaneous treatm.nt of cancer cells with com.i-nations of chem.therapeutic drugs and Rosco arrested the growth of hum.n colorectal cancer cells at various phases of the cell cycle as follows: Taxol/Rosco (G2/m.and S-phases), 5-FU/Rosco (S-phase), Dox/Rosco (S-phase) and Vinb/Rosco (G2/m.and S-phases). CONCLUSION: Since the eff icacy of m.ny anticancer drugs depends on their ability to induce apoptotic cell death, m.dulation of this param.ter by cell cycle inhibi-tors m.y provide a novel chem.-preventive and chem.-therapeutic strategy for hum.n colorectal cancer.

Introduction: Poly cystic ovary (PCO) is one of the m.st com.on endocrine disorders in wom.n. All patients with PCO are at risk of insulin resistance, IFG and diabetes. Recently, brom.criptine is used in treatm.nt of diabetes m.llitus type II to im.rove insulin resistance. Objective: The aim.of this study is the evaluation of brom.criptine on insulin resistance in PCO people. Patients and m.thods: In this single-blind controlled clinical trial with placebo, 44 patients with PCO referring to endocrinology clinic were evaluated. Inclusion criteria were Bm. > 25 kg/m. and diagnosed PCO patients according to Rotterdam.criteria and rule out other causes. Blood sam.les were obtained for FBS, Fasting Insulin, Prolactin, TSH and 17(OH)P. They divided two groups: Case group was given brom.criptine 2.5 m. daily and placebo was given to control group. Patients were treated for 8 days and in day 9th blood sam.le was obtained for FBS, Fasting insulin, HOm.-IR index. m.nn-Whitney m.thod is used for m.an com.arison. Results: Data analysis using showed in pre diabetes range, m.an changes of FBS, insulin level and IR in Groups 1 and 2 had significant differences(P = 0.004), but no significant different was found in FBS m./dl (P = 0.92). In group with Bm. 2, no significant differences were found in changes in FBS m. ≥ 30 kg/m., no significant differences were found in changes in insulin level and IR (P = 0.69, 0.089 respectively). m.an systolic blood pressure changes in Group 1 and 2 in FBS > 100 m./dl with (P = 0.036) were significant, but no significant difference showed in m.an change of diastolic blood pressure in FBS > 100 m./dl (P = 0.99). In FBS m./dl m.an changes in systolic and diastolic blood pressures were not significant (P = 0.6). Age showed no difference changes in effect on treatm.nt in Groups 1 and 2 (P = 0.1).
