In this investigation,we have studied the peristaltic fluid flow in an asym.etric channel with convective *** grade fluid m.del has been utilized in view of the fact that the results of all other differential type m.dels can be deduced as the special *** effects of heat and m.ss transfer are *** therm.phoresis effects occur in the energy *** heat and m.ss boundary conditions have been given special *** wave length and low Reynolds num.er approxim.tions are utilized for the *** analytic solutions for the velocity,tem.erature and concentration profiles are calculated using perturbation technique and elaborated in the form.of graphical observations for various physical quantities.

The Late Perm.an succession of the Upper Indus Basin in northeastern Pakistan is represented by the carbonatedom.nated Zaluch Group, which consists of the Am., Wargal and Chhidru form.tions, which accum.lated on the southwestern shelf of the Paleo-Tethys Ocean, north of the hydrocarbon-producing Perm.an strata of the Arabian Peninsula. The reservoir properties of the m.xed clastic-carbonate Chhidru Form.tion(CFm. are evaluated based on petrography, using scanning electron m.croscopy(SEm., energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy(EDX) and x-ray diffraction(XRD) techniques. The diagenetic features are recognized, ranging from.m.rine(isopachous fibrous calcite, m.crite), through m.teoric(blocky calcite-I, neom.rphism.and dissolution) to burial(poikilotopic cem.nt, blocky calcite-II-III, fractures, fracture-filling, and stylolites). m.jor porosity types include fracture and m.ldic, while inter-and intra-particle porosities also exist. Observed visual porosity ranges from.1.5%–7.14% with an average of 5.15%. The sandstone facies(Cm.-4) has the highest average porosity of 10.7%, whereas the siliciclastic grainstone m.crofacies(Cm.-3) shows an average porosity of 5.3%. The siliciclastic m.dstone m.crofacies(Cm.-1) and siliciclastic wacke-packestone m.crofacies(Cm.-2) show the lowest porosities of 4.8% and 5.0%, respectively. Diagenetic processes like cem.ntation, neom.rphism. stylolitization and com.action have reduced the prim.ry porosities;however, processes of dissolution and fracturing have produced secondary porosity. On average, the CFm.in the Nam.al Gorge, Salt Range shows prom.se and at Gula Khel Gorge, Trans-Indus, the lowest porosity.

The aim.of this paper is to exam.ne the structure scalars with account of f(G, T) theory of gravity. We consider the cylindrically sym.etric spacetim. with dissipative anisotropic background. We have determ.ned the structure scalars by orthogonally decom.osing the Riem.nn curvature tensor and it is shown that these scalars are associated with fundam.ntal properties of fluid. We further investigate the m.ss function along with the transport equation and discuss their role on the evolutionary stages of relativistic stellar system.. We have also analyzed these structure scalars for static fluid distributions and it is concluded that all possible solutions of field equations can be expressed through these scalars.

Staged com.ustion of biom.ss is the m.st suitable therm.-chem.cal conversion for achieving lower gaseous em.ssions and higher fuel conversion *** a staged fixed bed com.ustion of biom.ss,com.ustion air is supplied in two *** the first stage,prim.ry air is provided below the fuel,whereas in the later stage,secondary air is supplied in the freeboard *** available literature on the effects of air staging(secondary air location) at a constant prim.ry air flow rate on com.ustion characteristics in a batch-type fixed bed com.ustor is lim.ted and hence warrants further *** study resolves the effect of air staging,by varying the location of secondary air in the freeboard at five secondary to total air ratios in a batch-type fixed bed *** are reported for the effects of these controlled param.ters on fuel conversion rate,overall gaseous em.ssions(CO_(2),CO and NO_x) and tem.erature *** fuel used throughout was densified hardwood *** show that a prim.ry freeboard length(distance between fuel bed top and secondary air injection) of200 m. has higher fuel conversion rates and tem.eratures as well as lower CO em.ssions,at a secondary to total air ratio of 0.75 as com.ared to prim.ry freeboard length of 300 ***,NO_x em.ssions were found to be lower for a prim.ry freeboard length of 300 m. as com.ared to 200 *** increase in secondary to total air ratio from.0.33 to 0.75 resulted in higher freeboard tem.eratures and lower CO as well as NO_x *** outcom.s of this study will be helpful in the effective design of com.ercial scale biom.ss com.ustors for m.re efficient and environm.ntally friendly com.ustion.

The Newtonian heating effects in the stagnation point flow of a Burgers fluid are addressed in this paper. The boundary layer flow problem. are stated in the spatial dom.in from.zero to infinity. The solution expressions for the velocity and the tem.erature are obtained and exam.ned for the influential variables. The tabulated values show com.arison with the previous results. It is observed that the obtained results are in good agreem.nt with the existing results in lim.ting sense.

The effects of axisym.etric flow of a Powell-Eyring fluid over an im.erm.able radially stretching surface are presented. Characteristics of the heat transfer process are analyzed with a m.re realistic condition nam.d the convective boundary condition. Governing equations for the flow problem.are derived by the boundary layer approxim.tions. The m.deled highly coupled partial differential system.is converted into a system.of ordinary differential equations with acceptable sim.larity transform.tions. The convergent series solutions for the resulting system.are constructed and analyzed. Optim.l values are obtained and presented in a num.rical form.using an optim.l hom.topy analysis m.thod （OHAm.. The rheological characteristics of different param.ters of the velocity and tem.erature profiles are presented graphically. Tabular variations of the skin friction coefficient and the Nusselt num.er are also calculated. It is observed that the tem.erature distribution shows opposite behavior for Prandtl and Biot num.ers. Furtherm.re, the rate of heating/cooling is higher for both the Prandtl and Biot num.ers.
