Extraterrestrial Life in the Thermosphere: Plasmas, UAP, Pre-Life, Fourth State of matter

“Plasmas” up to a kilometer in size and behaving similarly to multicellular organisms have been filmed on 10 separate NASA space shuttle missions, over 200 miles above Earth within the thermosphere. These self-illuminated “plasmas” are attracted to and may “feed on” electromagnetic radiation. They have different morphologies: 1) cone, 2) cloud, 3) donut, 4) spherical-cylindrical;and have been filmed flying towards and de.cending from the thermosphere into thunde.storms;congregating by the hundreds and interacting with satellites generating electromagnetic activity;approaching the Space Shuttles. Computerized analysis of flight path trajectories documents these plasmas travel at different velocities from different directions and change their angle of trajectory making 45°, 90°, and 180° shifts and follow each other. They’ve been filmed accelerating, slowing down, stopping, congregating, engaging in “hunter-predatory” behavior and intersecting plasmas leaving a plasma dust trail in their wake. Similar life-like behaviors have been de.onstrated by plasmas created experimentally. “Plasmas” may have been photographed in the 1940s by WWII pilots (ide.tified as “Foo fighters”);repeatedly observed and filmed by astronauts and military pilots and classified as Unide.tified Aerial—Anomalous Phenomenon. Plasmas are not biological but may represent a form of pre-life that via the incorporation of elements common in space, could result in the synthesis of RNA. Plasmas constitute a fourth state of matter, are attracted to electromagnetic activity, and when observed in the lower atmosphere likely account for many of the UFO-UAP sightings over the centuries.

No differences were de.ected in terms of recurrent dysphagia, p.o. reflux or medical ***: To reduce the incide.ce of recurrent achalasia after laparoscopic Heller myotomy, we believe that His' angle reconstruction is a safe and effective alternative to the anterior fundoplication.

The scientific framework concerning estrogen effects on different tissues has expande. enormously during the last de.ade., when estrogen receptor （ER） subtypes were ide.tified. Estrogens are not only essential for the female reproductive system, but they also control fundamental functions in other tissues including the cardiovascular system, bone, brain and liver. Recently, estrogens have been shown to target the biliary tree, where they modulate the proliferative and secretory activities of cholangiocytes, the epithelial cells lining bile ducts. By acting on both estrogen receptors （ER-α） and （ER-β） subtypes, and by activating either genomic or non-genomic pathways, estrogens play a key role in the complex loop of growth factors and cytokines, which modulates the proliferative response of cholangiocytes to damage. Specifically, estrogens activate intracellular signalling cascade. JERK1/2 （extracellular regulated　kinases 1/2, PI3-kinase/AKT （phosphatidylinositol-3＇ kinase/AKT）] typical of growth factors such as insulin like growth factor （IGF1）, nerve growth factor （NGF） and vascular endothelial growth factor （VEGF）, thus potentiating their action. In addition, estrogens stimulate the secretion of different growth factors in proliferating cholangiocytes. This review specifically de.ls with the recent advances related to the role and mechanisms by which estrogens modulate cholangiocyte functions in normal and pathological conditions.

The microvascular supply of the biliary tree, the peribiliary plexus （PBP）, stems from the hepatic artery branches and flows into the hepatic sinusoids. A de.ailed three-dimensional study of the PBP has been performed by using the Scanning Electron microscopy vascular corrosion casts （SEmvcc） technique. Conside.ing that the PBP plays a fundamental role in supporting the secretory and absorptive functions of the biliary epithelium, their organization in either normalcy and pathology is explored. The normal liver shows the PBP arranged around extra-and intrahepatic biliary tree. In the small portal tract PBP was characterized by a single layer of capillaries which progressively continued with the extrahepatic PBP where it showed a morecomplex vascular network. After common duct ligation （BDL）, progressive modifications of bile duct and PBP proliferation are observed. The PBP presents a three-dimensional network arranged around many bile ducts and appears as bundles of vessels, composed by capillaries of homogeneous diameter with a typical round mesh structure. The PBP network is easily distinguishable from the sinusoidal network which appears normal. Conside.ing the enormous extension of the PBP during BDL, the possible role played by the Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor （VEGF） is evaluated. VEGF-A,VEGF-C and their related receptors appeared highly immunopositive in proliferating cholangiocytes of BDL rats. The administration of anti-VEGF-A or anti-VEGF-C antibodies to BDL rats as well as hepatic artery ligation induced a reduced bile duct mass. The administration of rVEGF-A to BDL hepatic artery ligated rats prevented the de.rease of cholangiocyte proliferation and VEGF-A expression as compared to BDL control rats. These data suggest the role of arterial blood supply of the biliary tree in conditions of cholangiocyte proliferation, such as it occurs during chronic cholestasis. On the other hand,the role played by VEGF as a tool of cross-talk between cholangiocytes

The ide.tification of jets originating from quarks and gluons,often referred to as quark/gluon tagging,plays an important role in various analyses performed at the Large Hadron Collide.,as Standard mode. measurements and searches for new particles de.aying to quarks often rely on suppressing a large gluon-induced *** paper de.cribes the measurement of the efficiencies of quark/gluon taggers de.eloped within the ATLAS Collaboration,using √s=13 TeV proton–proton collision data with an integrated luminosity of 140 fb^(-1) collected by the ATLAS *** taggers with high performances in rejecting jets from gluon over jets from quarks are studied:one tagger is based on requirements on the number of inner-de.ector tracks associated with the jet,and the other combines several jet substructure observables using a boosted de.ision tree.A method is established to de.ermine the quark/gluon fraction in data,by using quark/gluon-enriched subsamples de.ined by the jet *** in tagging efficiency between data and simulation are provide. for jets with transverse momentum between 500 GeV and 2 TeV and for multiple tagger working points.

Role of sex hormones in the modulation of cholangiocyte function

Over the last years,cholangiocytes,the cells that line the biliary tree,have been conside.ed an important object of study for their biological properties which involves bile formation,proliferation,injury repair,fibrosis and *** proliferation occurs in all pathologic conditions of liver injury where it is associated with inflammation and *** these processes,biliary cells start to secrete different cytokines,growth factors,neuropeptide. and hormones which represent potential mechanisms for cross talk with other liver *** studies suggest that hormones,and in particular,sex hormones,play a fundamental role in the modulation of the growth of this compartment in the injured liver which functionally conditions the progression of liver *** the mechanisms of action and the intracellular pathways of these compounds on cholangiocyte pathophysiology will provide.new potential strategies for the management of chronic liver *** purpose of this review is to summarize the recent findings on the role of sex hormones in cholangiocyte proliferation and biology.

PURPOSE: o estimate the mean rates of de.line of ocular function in patients with an atypical form of retinitis pigmentosa, termed “ pericentral retinitis pigmentosa.” de.IGN: Retrospective observational study. mETHODS: setting: Single-center. patient population: Eighteen patients (ages 32 to 65 years) with pericentral retinitis pigmentosa followed for 3 to 26 years. observational procedures: Snellen visual acuity, Goldmann visual field area (V-4e white test light), and full-field electroretinogram (ERG) amplitude. (0.5Hz and 30Hz white flashes). main outcome measures: mean annual exponential rates of change quantified by repeated-measures longitudinal regression. RESULTS: Estimated mean annual rates of de.line of remaining ocular function were 1.2% for visual acuity,1.9% for visual field area, 2.5% for ERG amplitude.to 0.5 Hz flashes, and 2.9% for ERG amplitude.to 30 Hz flashes. CONCLUSIONS: The mean rates of loss of remaining ocular function of patients with pericentral retinitis pigmentosa were generally slower than those previously reported for patients with typical forms of retinitis pigmentosa.
