In this paper, we study the boundary-value problem for mixed type equation with singular coefficient. We prove the unique solvability of the mentioned problem with the help of the extremum principle. The proof of the existence is based on the theory of singular integral equations, Wiener-Hopf equations and Fredholm integral equations.

Adsorption of CO, CO2, NO and NO2on Carbon Boron Nitride Hetero Junction: DFT Study

The adsorption of CO, CO2, NO and CO2 gas molecules on different diameters and chiralities of carbon nanotube-boron nitride nanotube (CNT-BNNT) heterojunctions is investigated, applying the density functional theory and using basis set 6 - 31 g (d,p). The energetic, electronic properties and surface reactivity have been discussed. We found that the best CNT-BNNT heterojunctions for adsorbing the CO, NO, CO2 and NO2 gas molecules is (5,0) CNT-BNNT heterojunction through forming C-N bonds with adsorption energy of -0.26, -0.41 eV, -0.33 and -0.63 eV, respectively. Also, the adsorption of CO, NO, CO2 and NO2 gas molecules on (5,5) and (6,6) CNT-BNNT heterojunctions does not affect the electronic character of the CNT-BNNT heterojunctions, however the adsorption of NO and NO2 gas molecules on (5,0) and (9,0)CNT-BNNT heterojunctions in case of forming C-B bonds increases the band gaps to 1.21 eV and 1.52 eV, respectively. In addition, it is reported that the values of dipole moment for armchair (5,5) and (6,6) CNT-BNNT heterojunctions are not affected by gas adsorption. Also, for the zig-zag (5,0) and (9,0) CNT-BNNT heterojunctions, the values of dipole moment increase through forming C-N bonds and decrease through forming C-B bonds. In addition, it is reported that the highest dipole moment is obtained for (9,0) CNT-BNNT heterojunctions. Therefore, the zig-zag CNT-BNNT heterojunctions can be selected as good candidate for gas sensors.

This study presents the fabrication and investigation （PANI） composite films. A blend of 3 wt.% OD with 1 of humidity sensors based on orange dye （OD） and polyaniline wt.% PANI was prepared in 1 ml water. The composite films were deposited on glass substrates between pre-deposited silver electrodes. The gap between the electrodes was 45 um. The sensing mechanism was based on the impedance and capacitance variations due to the absorption/desorption of water vapor. It was observed that with the increase in relative humidity （RH） from 30% to 90%, the impedance decreases by 5.2 × 10^4 and 8.8 × 10^3 times for the frequencies of 120 Hz and 1 khz, respectively. The impedance-humidity relationship showed a more uniform change compared to the capacitance-humidity relationship in the RH range of 30% to 90%. The consequence of annealing, measuring frequency, response and recovery time, and absorption-desorption behavior of the humidity sensor were also discussed in detail. The annealing resulted in an increase in sensitivity of up to 2.5 times, while the measured response time and recovery time were 34 s and 450 s, respectively. The impedance-humidity relationship was simulated.

Ecological surveys were carried out to investigate the distribution and characterization of riparian corridor plants along the Perai River,Penang,malaysia from July 2007 to march *** were design to represent horizon-tal sections of the river starting from the river mouth towards the upper reaches for 20 km.A total of 84 species of plants from 30 families were *** consisted of 28 species of standing plants(plants with height of more than 1 m)and 56 species of weedy plants(plants with height of less than 1 m).Standing plants consisted of ferns,palms,herbs,shrubs and mangroves while weedy plants comprised of aroids,grasses,sedges and broad leaf *** abundance and dominance for each zone were relatively *** species was determined using Important Species Index(ISI).Based on ISI,the important species of standing plants were Sonneratia alba,Acrostichum aureum,Nypa fruti-cans,Avicennia marina,Rhizophora apiculata,Acrostichum speciosum and Rhizophora *** plants were dominated by mikania micrantha,Cryptocoryne ciliata,Wedelia trilobata and Asystasia *** distribution of the corridor plant species was closely related to the pattern of river water salinity *** distribution of mangrove species with tolerance and adaptation to seawater appeared as follows:Avicennia marina,Rhizophora apiculata,Rhizo-phora mucronata,Sonneratia alba,Nypa fructicans,Acrostichum aureum and Acrostichum speciosum.

malaysian Selantik low-rank coal(SC)was used as a precursor to prepare a form of mesoporous activated carbon(SC-AC)with greater surface area(SA)via a microwave induced KOH-activation *** characteristics of the SC and SC-AC were evaluated by the iodine number,ash content,bulk density,and moisture content The structure and surface characterization was carried out using pore structure analysis(BET),scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(SEm-EDX),X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier Transform Infrared(FTIR),elemental analysis(CHNS),thermogravimetric analysis(TGA),and determination of the point of zero charge(pH(PZC)).These results signify a mesoporous structure of SC-AC with an increase of ca.1160 times(BET SA=1094.3 m^2·g^-1)as compared with raw SC without activation(BET SA=1.23 m^2·g^-1).The adsorptive properties of the SC-AC with methylene blue(mB)was carried out at variable adsorbent dose(0.2-1.6 g·L^-1),solution pH(2-12),initial mB concentrations(25-400 mg·L^-1),and contact time(0-290 min)using batch mode *** kinetic profiles follow pseudo-second order kinetics and the equilibrium uptake of mB conforms to the Langmuir model with a maximum monolayer adsorption capacity of 491.7 mg g^-1 at 303 *** functions revealed a spontaneous endothermic adsorption *** mechanism of adsorption included mainly electrostatic attractions,hydrogen bonding interaction,andπ-πstacking *** work shows that malaysian Selantik low-rank coal is a promising precursor for the production of low-cost and efficient mesoporous activated carbon with substantive surface area.

Two selective stability-indicating HPLC methods are described for determination of rabeprazole sodium （RZ）-mosapride citrate （mR） and RZ-itopride hydrochloride （IO） mixturcs in the presence of their ICH-stress formed degradation products. Separations were achieved on X-Bridge CI 8 column using two mobile phases： the first for RZ-mR mixture consisted of acetonitrile： 0.（125 m kh,PO4 solution： TEA （30：69：1 v/v; pH 7.0）; the second for RZ-IO mixture was at ratio of 25：74：1 Iv/v： pH 9.25J. The detection wavelength was 283 nm. The two methods were validated and wdidation acceptance criteria were met in all cases. Peak purity testing using contrast angle theory, relative absorbance and log A versus the wavelengths plots were presented. The % recoveries of the intact drugs were between 99.1% and 102.2% with RSD% values less than 1.6%. Application of the proposed HPLC methods indicated that the methods could be adopted to follow the stability of their formulations.

Geochemistry of subsurface Late Quaternary ironstones in Rajshahi and Bogra Districts, Bangladesh: implications for genetic and depositional conditions

The present study deals with the geochemistry of Late Quaternary ironstones in the subsurface in Rajshahi and Bogra districts, Bangladesh with the lithological study of the boreholes sediments. major lithofacies of the studied boreholes are clay, silty clay, sandy clay, fine to coarse grained sand, gravels and sands with(fragmentary) ironstones. The ironstones contain major oxides, Fe_2 O_3*(*total Fe)(avg. 66.6 wt%), SiO_2(avg. 15.3 wt%), Al_2 O_3(avg. 4.0 wt%), mnO(avg. 7.7 wt%), and CaO(avg. 3.4 wt%). These geochemical data imply that the higher percentage of Fe_2 O_3* along with Al_2 O_3 and mnO indicate the ironstone as goethite and siderite, which is also validated by XRD data. A comparatively higher percentage of SiO_2 indicates the presence of relative amounts of clastic quartz and manganese-rich silicate or clay in these rocks. These ironstones also have significant amounts of mnO(avg. 7.7 wt%) suggesting their depositional environments under oxygenated condition. Chemical data of these ironstones suggest that the source rock suffered deep chemical weathering and iron was mostly carried in association with the clay fraction and organic matter. Iron concretion was mostly formed by bacterial build up in swamps and marshes, and was subsequently embedded in clayey *** the coastal environments, the water table fluctuates and goethite and siderite with mud and quartz became dry and compacted to form ironstone.

Bending analysis of functionally graded plates using the two variable refined plate theory is presented in this *** number of unknown functions involved is reduced to merely four,as against five in other shear deformation theories. The variationally consistent theory presented here has, in many respects,strong similarity to the classical plate theory. It does not require shear correction factors,and gives rise to such transverse shear stress variation that the transverse shear stresses vary parabolically across the thickness and satisfy shear stress free surface *** properties of the plate are assumed to be graded in the thickness direction with their distributions following a simple power-law in terms of the volume fractions of the *** equations are derived from the principle of virtual displacements, and a closed-form solution is found for a simply supported rectangular plate subjected to sinusoidal loading by using the Navier *** results obtained by the present theory are compared with available solutions,from which it can be concluded that the proposed theory is accurate and simple in analyzing the static bending behavior of functionally graded plates.
