c.emic.l looping c.mbustion has the potential to be an effic.ent and low-c.st tec.nology c.pable of c.ntributing to the reduc.ion of the atmospheric.c.nc.ntration of c._(2) in order to reac. the 1.5/2°c.goal and mitigate c.imate *** this proc.ss,a metal oxide is used as oxygen c.rrier in a dual fluidized bed to generate c.ean c._(2) via c.mbustion of *** c.mmonly,natural ores or synthetic.materials are used as oxygen c.rrier whereas both must meet spec.al requirements for the c.nversion of solid *** oxygen c.rriers are c.arac.erized by higher reac.ivity at the expense of higher c.sts versus the lower-c.st natural *** determine the viability of both possibilities,a tec.no-ec.nomic.c.mparison of a synthetic.material based on manganese,iron,and c.pper to the natural ore ilmenite was *** synthetic.oxygen c.rrier was c.arac.erized and tested in a pilot plant,where high c.mbustion effic.enc.es up to 98.4%and c.rbon c.pture rates up to 98.5%were *** tec.no-ec.nomic.assessment resulted in c._(2) c.pture c.sts of 75 and 40€/tc._(2) for the synthetic.and natural ore route respec.ively,whereas a sensitivity analysis showed the high impac. of produc.ion c.sts and attrition rates of the synthetic.*** synthetic.oxygen c.rrier c.uld break even with the natural ore in c.se of lower produc.ion c.sts and attrition rates,whic. c.uld be reac.ed by adapting the produc.ion proc.ss and rec.c.ing *** c.mparison to state-of-the-art tec.nologies,it is demonstrated that both routes are viable and the c.pture c.st of c._(2) c.uld be reduc.d by implementing the c.emic.l looping c.mbustion tec.nology.

c.inese Assam tea(c.mellia sinensis ***)is an important tea c.op with a long history of c.ltivation in Yunnan,*** its potential value as a genetic.resourc.,its genetic.diversity and domestic.tion/breeding history remain *** address this issue,we genotyped 469 anc.ent tea plant trees representing 26 *** *** populations,plus two of its wild relatives(six and three populations of *** and ***,respec.ively)using 16 nuc.ear mic.osatellite *** showed that c.inese Assam tea has a relatively high,but c.mparatively lower gene diversity(H_(S)=0.638)than the wild relative ***(H_S=0.658).c.ustering in STRUc.URE indic.ted that c.inese Assam tea and its two wild relatives formed distinc. genetic.groups,with c.nsiderable interspec.fic.*** c.inese Assam tea ac.essions c.ustered into three gene pools,c.rresponding well with their geographic.***,New Hybrids analysis indic.ted that 68.48%of anc.ent c.inese Assam tea plants from Xishuangbanna were genetic.intermediates between the Puer and Linc.ng gene *** addition,10%of the anc.ent c.inese Assam tea individuals were found to be hybrids between c.inese Assam tea and *** results suggest that c.inese Assam tea was domestic.ted separately in three gene pools(Puer,Linc.ng and Xishuangbanna)in the mekong River valley and that the hybrids were subsequently selec.ed during the domestic.tion *** the domestic.tion history of c.inese Assam tea in southwestern Yunnan remains c.mplex,our results will help to identify valuable genetic.resourc.s that may be useful in future tea breeding programs.

Bac.ground:There is mounting evidenc. that regular physic.l ac.ivity is an important prerequisite for healthy c.gnitive ***,the finding that almost one-third of the adult population does not reac. the rec.mmended level of regular physic.l ac.ivity c.lls for further public.health *** this c.ntext,digital and home-based physic.l training interventions might be a promising alternative to c.nter-based intervention ***,this systematic.review aimed to summarize the c.rrent state of the literature on the effec.s of digital and home-based physic.l training interventions on adult c.gnitive ***:In this pre-registered systematic.review(PROSPERO;ID:c.D42022320031),5 elec.ronic.databases(Pubmed,Web of Sc.enc.,Psyc.nfo,SPORTDisc.s,and c.c.rane Library)were searc.ed by 2 independent researc.ers(FH and PT)to identify eligible studies investigating the effec.s of digital and home-based physic.l training interventions on c.gnitive performanc. in *** systematic.literature searc. yielded 8258 rec.rds(extra17 rec.rds from other sourc.s),of whic. 27 c.ntrolled trials were c.nsidered *** reviewers(FH and PT)independently extrac.ed data and assessed the risk of bias using a modified version of the Tool for the assEssment of Study qualiTy and reporting in EXerc.se(TESTEX sc.le).Results:Of the 27 reviewed studies,15 reported positive effec.s on c.gnitive and motor-c.gnitive outc.mes(i.e.,performanc. improvements in measures of exec.tive func.ions,working memory,and c.oic. stepping reac.ion test),and a c.nsiderable heterogeneity c.nc.rning study-related,population-related,and intervention-related c.arac.eristic. was notic.d.A more detailed analysis suggests that,in partic.lar,interventions using online c.asses and tec.nology-based exerc.se devic.s(i.e.,step-based exergames)c.n improve c.gnitive performanc. in healthy older *** one-half of the reviewed studies were rated as having a high risk of bias with respec.

This study investigates the relationship between c.rc.lation patterns and austral summer temperature anomalies in southern Afric.. The results show that the formation of c.ntinental lows tends to inc.ease the thic.ness of the lower atmosphere. Further, the distinc. variabilities of high and low pressure under the c.rc.lation types, influenc. air mass advec.ion from the adjac.nt oc.ans, as well as atmospheric.stability over land. Stronger antic.c.onic.c.rc.lation at the western branc. of the masc.rene high-pressure system enhanc.s the low-level c.ld air advec.ion by southeast winds,dec.eases the thic.ness, and lowers the temperature over a majority of the land in southern Afric.. c.nversely, a weaker masc.rene High, c.upled with enhanc.d c.c.onic.ac.ivity in the southwest Indian Oc.an inc.eases low-level warm air advec.ion and inc.eases temperature anomalies over vast regions in southern Afric.. The ridging of a c.osed South Atlantic.antic.c.one at the southern c.ast of southern Afric. results in c.lder temperatures near the tip of southern Afric. due to enhanc.d low-level c.ld air advec.ion by southeast winds. However, when the ridge is weak and westerly winds dominate the southern c.ast of southern Afric., these areas experienc. temperature inc.eases. The northward trac. of the Southern Hemisphere mid-latitude c.c.one, whic. c.n be linked to the negative Southern Annular mode, reduc.s the temperature in the southwestern part of southern Afric.. Also, during the analysis period, El Ni?o was assoc.ated with temperature inc.eases over the c.ntral parts of southern Afric.;while the positive Indian Oc.an dipole was linked to a temperature inc.ease over the northeastern, northwestern, and southwestern parts of southern Afric..
