Importance:Cleft lip and palate(CLP)is globally among the most common childhood *** disorder impacts childhood development,including speech and language,and affects children ***:To analyze child development skills(adaptive fine motor,gross motor,personal-social,and language)in preschool children with isolated CLP compared with children without this ***:The participants included an experimental group of 27 children with isolated CLP and a comparison group of 27 children without CLP aged between 48 and 59 *** groups were evaluated using two instruments:the Denver Developmental Screening Test II(DDST-II)and the Avaliapao do Desenvolvimento da Linguagem(ADL-Language Development Assessment).Data were analyzed by descriptive and inductive analyses,using the Student’s mest and the mann-Whitney test,at a significance level of Pmparison group performed within normal standards for their age range in the DDST-II and the *** worst performance in the experimental group was observed in language skills,followed,in declining order,by adaptive fine motor,personal-social,and gross motor as measured by the *** with isolated CLP also performed poorly in receptive,expressive,and global language in the *** statistically significant differences were observed in the experimental group’s scores for the ADL and the ***:Developmental skill levels were below expectations for children of this age with isolated CLP.

Objective: To compare the in vitro antiparasitic activity of aqueous extracts from Ziziphus joazeiro leaves and stem bark against Trypanosoma cruzi, Leishmania braziliensis, and Leishmania infantum, as well as to evaluate its cytotoxicity in mammalian cells, in addition to identifying the chemical composition of the extracts. methods: Ziziphus joazeiro leaf and stem bark aqueous extracts were prepared by cold extraction maceration and subjected to ultra-efficient liquid chromatography coupled to a quadrupole/time of flight system. The susceptibility assays used Trypanosoma cruzi CLB5 strains and promastigote forms of Leishmania braziliensis and Leishmania infantum for antiparasitic activity of the extracts. moreover, mammalian fibroblasts NCTC clone 929 were used for cytotoxicity analysis. Results: Terpenoid compounds, flavonoids and phenolic acid were identified in extracts. The stem bark aqueous extracts presented more significant results in terms of antiparasitic activity compared with the leaf aqueous extracts, especially against Leishmania braziliensis and Leishmania infantum promastigote forms with an IC50 mL. The cytotoxicity evaluation showed moderate toxicity of the stem bark aqueous extracts, which is relevant information for the rational use of this plant part since it is widely used by the population. Conclusions: These preliminary results may contribute to the formulation of new therapeutic agents against this group of neglected diseases, so further investigations are required to delineate the mechanisms of action mainly of the aqueous extract of stem bark of Ziziphus joazeiro.

Oral health status and performance of oral functions in children and adolescents in the treatment for overweight or obesity

The objective of this study was to evaluate the performance of oral functions and oral conditions in children and adolescents with overweight or obesity, investigating possible associations with treatment for weight reduction. Developing a cross-sectional research and quantitative approach with inductive and descriptive and critical analysis of data, such as from a range of 95%, the universe was represented by children and adolescents who were overweight or obese, in both sexes, treated at reference centers for the treatment of obesity by the National Health System, in Campina Grande, Paraíba, 2010-2012. As the control group considered subjects of the same age, in the process of screening for attention in the places listed, but without the condition of overweight or obese, the research was started after the approval by the Ethics Resarch Committee of the UEPB under the protocol number 0513.***.133.000-09. As instruments for data collection were used in the questionnaire and clinical examination, of the 70 surveyed, most were female, ranging in age from 3 to 17 years, overweight, without comorbidities and carriers of deleterious oral habits;especially the nail biting, significantly associated with female sex p mfort or gagging constant. There was a significant difference between the values of the DmFT index, the presence of visible biofilm and the frequency of halitosis, for groups with overweight or obesity, with association between time of treatment and medications.

Distillation is one of the oldest and most important separation processes used in the chemical and petrochemical industries. On the other hand, it is a process the thermodynamic efficiency of which is very low, and therefore reducing the consumption of energy is one of the targets of research studies on distillation. This article arose from seeking to reduce energy consumption in a distillation train of 1,2-dichloroethane (ethylene dichloride-EDC) of a commercial plant producing vinyl monochloride (VmC), which involves an azeotropic distillation column. The reduction in the reboiler heat duty caused significant changes in concentration and temperature profiles throughout the column due to the formation of two liquid phases. The results show that, although very small in percentage terms (less than 2.5%), the appearance of the 2nd liquid phase causes significant changes in the operation of the column and the separation achieved.

The mARGov Project consisted in strengthening the interaction among the Professor Luiz Saldanha marine Park stakeholders, and to collaboratively construct, with social and institutional actors, a governance model for the marine Park, located in the municipality of Sesimbra (Portugal). To pursue this goal, a PPGIS (public participation geographic information system) was developed, allowing the interaction, discussion and public participation of the stakeholders and actors involved. This PPGIS emerged as a crowdsourcing tool, with the purpose of assisting the georeferenced contributes from the local users of the marine Park, regarding several relevant subjects, such as pollution, economic activities, opportunities and threats to the marine Park, providing visual, analytical, and demonstrative qualities.

随着海上地震采集技术的快速发展，已经可以采用双震源组合记录向量声波（[VA]压力和粒子速度）地震数据，这里的双震源组合是指单极震源与偶极震源的组合。vA逆时偏移（RTm）可定制设计，能够精确处理4C地震数据中的幅度和方向性信息。我们提出了一个新的多分量RTm方法，这种方法以伴随一状态公式为基础，采用的是压力及其对应位移场的全vA波动方程伴随一状态。该方法通过伴随一状态成像方法中的震源和接收器加权算子来充分发挥4c声波场中的定向性有限频率信息的作用。有了这种伴随一状态方法，通过选择特定的加权算子，就可以量身定制震源和接收器的辐射特性。通过选择加权算子实现震源端和接收器端虚反射与原始能量的协同偏移。由于偶极场分量（例如，颗粒位移分量或加速度分量）与压力场空间梯度分量是成正比的，我们的方法实际上是一个逆时图面空间校正公式，在对压力场进行成像的同时，它还利用了包含在全3c梯度中的定向性信息。因此，相比于单独的压力成像或2c地震数据，我们的逆时4c图面空间校正方法能减少与时窗及采样相关的假象。此外，我们的方法还为双震源4c地震数据的全波形反演提供了一个框架。我们通过合成数据（包括一个盐下成像的例子）验证了这种新方法。

红土型风化壳和次生锰矿床形成于温暖和潮湿的古气候条件 ,其中含有丰富的表生钾锰矿物。因此 ,对表生钾锰矿物进行精确的40 Ar/ 3 9Ar年龄测定 ,不仅能查明大陆化学风化和矿床次生富集的时间和过程 ,而且可以为区域古气候的反演提供重要的年代学资料。透射电子显微镜、热重分析、离子交换实验和40 Ar/ 3 9Ar同位素分析表明 ,层状结构的黑锌锰矿、锂锰矿和钠水锰矿以及具有 1× 1隧道结构的软锰矿不适合于40 Ar/ 3 9Ar年龄测定 ;而隐钾锰矿、锰钡矿和锰铅矿因具有致密和稳定的 2× 2隧道结构及很强的保存K Ar体系的能力 ,是40 Ar/ 3 9Ar同位素定年的理想对象。硬锰矿和钙锰矿分别具有 2× 3和 3× 3隧道结构 ,由于隧道孔径过大 ,晶体结构的稳定性较差 ,其作为40Ar/ 3 9Ar测年的适用性有待于进一步证实。采用精细的激光阶段加热技术 ,可以有效克服表生钾锰矿物40 Ar/ 3 9Ar测年过程中3 9ArK 的反冲损失、多世代表生钾锰矿物的共生 ,以及表生钾锰矿物中原生矿物的污染和过量大气氩的存在等问题 ,并获得有意义的风化年龄。已有数据表明 ,表生钾锰矿物的形成主要集中在白垩纪末期、始新世末期—渐新世早期、中新世和上新世中期等 4个时期。

Background: COVID-19 is a rapidly transmissible pneumonia-like illness caused by SARS-CoV-2 that out broke in China in 2019 and is currently circulating worldwide. In the current context of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, complications are observed in clinical settings for the treatment of severe COVID-19 disease in nosocomial settings, due to cases of fungal co-infections. Objective: To carry out a review on fungal infections associated with respiratory infections caused by COVID-19 (Sars-Cov-2) and their aggravation. methodology: The purpose of this study is to inform the reader about the characteristics of SARS-CoV-2 and the main fungal species that are affecting patients undergoing treatment for severe COVID-19, provoking discussion of the importance of the proposed topic, in relation to co-infections by different fungal microorganisms. Result: 80 scientific studies were selected, resulting from patients with COVID-19 and most commonly observed in patients with a history of comorbidities such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension, kidney disease, severe liver disease, oncological diseases, obesity and with severe COVID-19. These data do not represent the total number of records of the disease in the world, but cases reported by researchers in their series, showing the overlapping of fungal co-infection through the compromised immune status due to the use of therapeutic drugs, dysregulation of the microbiota, age of patients and the severity itself of the severe inflammation caused by COVID-19. Conclusion: The immunosuppression caused by the infection of COVID-19 concomitant with its therapy through corticosteroid therapy and comorbidities of the patients made fungal infections more susceptible, and these interfere in the evolution of the case and in the treatment of COVID-19, being relevant to distinguish secondary infections to therapy and the best possible reconstitution of the clinical picture.
