Gerbera Hybrida is one of the important cut flowers across the world.The novel traits are the primarily market requirements and the breeding targets,mainly determined by the degree of genetic variation after hybridization.However,meiotic recombination is highly conserved in most eukaryotes which suppressed the crossover formation and limited the genetic diversity.Recently,several meiotic recombination suppressors have been identified and characterized in plants,whereas it remains elusive in G.hybrida.In order to characterize the expression patterns of these suppressors in G.hybrida,20 candidate reference genes were identified from the transcriptome datasets of G.hybrida,and their expression stabilities during plant development were evaluated by geNorm,NormFinder and BestKeeper.Although the most stable reference genes were variable in different softwares,comprehensive ranking revealed that PGK2 was the most stable reference gene and GAPDH was the most unstable one.The expression patterns of FANCM,FIGL1,RECQ4,RM1,and FLIP further validated that PGK2 was suitable for normalization of gene expression.Our study identified a reliable reference gene for gene expression during meiotic recombination,and provided functional insights into meiotic recombination suppressors in G.hybrida.

Meiotic recombination and the resulting novel allele combinations are fundamental to plant breeding and the identification of superior hybrids.However,the rate of meiotic crossovers is naturally suppressed below its potential ability,which prevents plant breeding efficiency.Nine suppressors of meiotic recombination have been identified in the model plant Arabidopsis and in other crop species.Mutations in these genes can lead to increased recombination frequency and could therefore potentially be used to create hyper-recombinant lines for ornamental breeding.In Gerbera hybrida,the anti-crossover factors remain elusive.In this study,we isolated and cloned TOP3αfrom flower buds of G.hybrida,and it encoded 935 amino acids with three conserved domains TOPRIM,TOP1Ac and zf-GR.Moreover,TOP3αwas the highest expressed at the flower bud stage,which coincided with the occurrence of meiotic recombination,suggesting that TOP3αis associated with the regulation of meiotic recombination in G.hybrida.

Conventional simultaneous bilateral open nephroureterectomy combined with resection of bladder cuffs seems not optimal for bilateral upper tract urothelial carcinoma （UTUC） in renal transplant and dialysis patients with enormous invasion related to large morbidity,delayed gastrointestinal function,and late recovery.1 This study reports the largest series of minimally invasive procedures of simultaneous bilateral retroperitoneoscopic nephroureterectomy （SBRNU） via a midline lower abdominal incision in renal recipients.

Objective: Potential of combined androgen blockade(CAB) has not been explored extensively in Chinese males with prostate cancer(PCa). Therefore, this study evaluated the 2-year prostate-specific antigen(PSA) recurrence rate and quality of life(Qo L) in patients with high-risk localized and locally advanced PCa receiving adjuvant hormone therapy(HT) after radical prostatectomy(RP).Methods: This prospective, multicenter, observational study conducted in 18 centers across China enrolled patients with high-risk factor(preoperative PSA>20 ng/m L or Gleason score >7) or locally advanced PCa. Different adjuvant HT were administered after RP according to investigator’s decision in routine clinical practice.Relationship of baseline and postoperative characteristics was assessed with recurrence rate. PSA recurrence rate and Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Prostate(FACT-P) Qo L scores were recorded at 12 months and 24 months. Kaplan-Meier analysis was used to construct the PSA recurrence rate during follow-up.Results: A total of 189 patients(mean age: 66.9±6.5 years) were recruited, among which 112(59.3%) patients showed serum PSA>20 ng/m L preoperatively. The highest postoperative pathological advancement noticed was from clinical T2(c T2) to pathological T3(p T3)(43.9%) stage. The majority of the patients(66.1%) received CAB as adjuvant HT, for a median duration of 20.0 months. The least recurrence(15.2%) was noticed in patients treated with CAB, followed by those treated with luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone agonist(LHRHa)(16.1%), and antiandrogen(19.0%), with non-significant difference noted among the groups. None of the baseline or postoperative characteristics was related with PSA recurrence in our study. The 24-month FACT-P Qo L score of119 patients treated for >12 months showed significant improvement above baseline compared with those treated for ≤12 months.Conclusions: Adjuvant CAB therapy after RP showed reduction trend in 2-year PSA recurrence rate in highrisk Chinese patients with localized and loc

Background Laparoendoscopic single-site （LESS） surgery represents a technique to further reduce morbidity and scarring associated with surgery.We present our preliminary experience with transperitoneal LESS radical nephrectomy （RN） using a home-made single-port device in China.Methods From July 2010 to November 2011,eleven patients with renal tumor not greater than T2 underwent LESS-RN by an experienced laparoscopic surgeon.A home-made single-port device was used through a 5-cm umbilical incision.A combination of standard and articulating laparoscopic instruments was used.The sequence of steps of LESS-RN was similar to transperitoneal laparoscopic RN.Patient characteristics,perioperative variables and postoperative outcomes were recorded and analyzed.Results Except for two transperitoneal laparoscopic conversions and one hand-assisted laparoscopic conversion,the other procedures were completed successfully without conversion to open surgery.The mean operative time was 224.5 （155-297） minutes,estimated blood loss was 270.9 （50-900） ml,and hospital stay was 10.4 （5-15） days.The mean visual analog pain scale （VAPS） on the first postoperative day was 4.0/10.Final pathological analysis revealed renal cell carcinoma in all cases with a stage distribution of three T1a,five T1b,and three T2a tumors.With the mean followup period of 21.4 （12-28） months,all patients were alive without evidence of tumor recurrence or metastasis,and were satisfied with the appearance of the scars.Conclusion Transperitoneal LESS-RN using a home-made single-port device is technically feasible and safe in a selected group of patients （low body mass index and stage tumor） and has excellent cosmetic results.Although preliminary oncologic outcome is not compromised,the long-term evaluation of these patients is awaited.

Southwestern Guizhou province is one of China’s most important distribution areas of Carlin-type gold deposits. The Nibao deposit is a typical gold deposit in southwestern Guizhou. To elucidate the genesis of the Nibao gold deposit, establish a metallogenic model, and guide prospecting prediction, we systematically collected previously reported geological, geochemical, and dating data and discussed the genesis of the Nibao gold deposit,based on which we proposed the metallogenic model.Earlier works show that the Nibao anticline, F1 fault, and its hanging wall dragged anticline(Erlongqiangbao anticline) were formed before or simultaneously with gold mineralization, while F2, F3, and F4 faults postdate gold mineralization. Regional geophysical data showed extensive low resistivity anomaly areas near the SBT(the product of tectonic slippage and hydrothermal alteration)between the P2/P3 and the strata of the Longtan Formation in the SSE direction of Nibao anticline in the lower plate of F1 and hanging wall dragged anticline(Erlongqiangbao anticline), and the anomaly areas are distributed within the influence range of anticlines. Simultaneously, soil and structural geochemistry show that F1, Nibao anticline,Erlongqiangbao anticline, and their transition areas all show good metallogenic elements(Au, As, and S) assemblage anomalies, with good metallogenic space and prospecting possibilities. There are five main hypotheses about the source of ore-forming fluids and Au in the Nibao gold deposit:(1) related to the Emeishan mantle plume activity;(2) source from the Emeishan basalt;(3) metamorphic fluid mineralization;(4) basin fluid mineralization;(5) related to deep concealed magmatic rocks;of these, the mainstream understanding is the fifth speculation. It is acknowledged that the ore-forming fluids are hydrothermal fluids with medium–low temperature, high pressure, medium–low salinity, low density, low oxygen fugacity, weak acidity, weak reduction, and rich in CO_(2)and CH_(4). 针对Word2vec等静态词向量模型对于每个词只有唯一的词向量表示,无法学习在不同上下文中的词汇多义性问题,提出一种基于动态词向量和注意力机制的文本情感分类方法。在大型语料库上利用深度双向语言模型预训练通用词向量;在情感分类任务的训练语料上对向量模型进行微调,得到最终的上下文相关的动态词向量作为输入特征;搭建双向长短期记忆网络模型,并引入注意力机制以提高特征提取的准确性。实验结果表明,该方法在IMDB和Yelp13数据集上的分类准确率分别提高了0.017和0.011。

The Geological Significance of a Tuffite Interlayer in the Cretaceous Port Island Formation in Northeastern Hong Kong

The Port Island Formation(PIF), a typical Cretaceous red bed in Hong Kong, is dominated by non-fossiliferous, reddish clastic rocks, making it difficult to determine the sedimentary age of PIF precisely. Previous studies assigned the PIF to Late Cretaceous provisionally only on the basis of its stratigraphic sequence and lithology. This study identified a tuffite interlayer in the PIF and a zircon UPb age of 128.2±2.7 ma by LA-ICP-MS method was obtained. It’s the first time to date the depositional age of the PIF with a reliable chronological constraint. With the support of stratigraphic evidence, we concluded that the geological age of PIF should be Early Cretaceous rather than Late Cretaceous. Based on the volcanic history of Hong Kong and Southeast China and the distribution of the PIF in Mirs Bay, it is believed that there was no volcanic activity in Hong Kong in ca. 128 ma. The tuffite interlayer discovered in PIF was formed by the deposition of volcanic ash, which might originate from remote region outside Hong Kong, in an aquatic environment on Port Island. The identification of the tuffite interlayer, as the response to a volcanic event, has great significance not only to the studies of establishment and regional correlation of the strata system and the geological evolution in Hong Kong,but also to the study of volcanic activities in Southeast China.

Early Cretaceous rhyolitic tuffs, widely distributed on Port Island, provide insights into the volcanism and tectonic setting of Hong Kong. In this paper we present petrological, geochronological and geochemical data of the rhyolitic tuff to constrain the diagenesis age and petrogenesis of the rocks, tectonic setting and early Cretaceous volcanism of Hong Kong. The first geochronological data show that the zircons in the volcanic rocks have U-Pb age of 141.1-139.5 ma, which reveals that the rhyolitic tuff on Port Island was formed in the early Cretaceous （K1）. Geochemically, these acid rocks, which are enriched in large ion lithophile elements （LILEs） and light rare earth elements （LREEs）, and depleted in high field strength elements （HFSEs）, belong to the high K calc-alkaline to shoshonite series with strongly-peraluminous characteristic. The geochemical analyses suggest that the volcanic rocks were derived from deep melting in the continental crust caused by basaltic magma underplating. Based on the geochemical analysis and previous studies, we concluded that the rhyolitic tufts on Port Island were formed in a back- arc extension setting in response to the subduction of the Paleo-Pacific Plate beneath the Eurasian Plate.

The vast expanse of Mesozoic igneous rocks in Hong Kong contain important geological records of late Mesozoic magmatic events and tectonic processes from the coastal region of Southeast China. Of these,the Ping Chau Formation in the northwestern New Territories is the youngest known stratum. We perform a detailed study of the volcanic rocks of the Ping Chau Formation utilizing zircon U-Pb dating,with major and trace elements geochemistry. LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb data reveal Early Cretaceous age from two volcanic rock samples, with zircon crystallization from magmas at 140.3 ± 0.8 ma and 139.3 ± 0.9 ma,respectively. These rocks have high contents of total alkalis(Na_2O + K_2O = 5.58-9.45 wt.%), high-field-strength elements and light rare earth elements, conspicuous negative Eu anomalies, and depletions in Nb, Ta, Ti, Sr, Ba and P. Using this data, in combination with previous studies on the late Mesozoic volcanic belt in Southeast China, we propose that the volcanic rocks of the Ping Chau Formation probably originated from deep melting of the crust in a back-arc extensional setting induced by the subduction of the paleo-Pacific Plate. This formation represents the final stages of Early Cretaceous volcanic activity in Hong Kong, as associated with large-scale lithospheric extension, thinning and magmatism. Our results provide new information that can be used in evaluating the significance of Early Cretaceous volcanism and tectonics in Southeast China.
