Objectives:This study aimed to test the association between of type and number of D'Amico high-risk criteria(DhRCs)with cancer-specific mortality(CSM)in high-risk prostate cancer patients treated with radical *** and methods:In the Surveillance,Epidemiology,and End Results database(2004–2016),we identified 31,281 radical prostatectomy patients with at least 1 DhRC,namely,prostate-specific antigen(PSA)>20 ng/mL(hrPSA),biopsy Gleason Grade Group(hrGGG)score of 4 and 5,or clinical tumor stage≥T3(hrcT).Multivariable Cox regression models and competing risks regression models(adjusting for other cause mortality)tested the association between DhRCs and 5-year ***:Of 31,281 patients,14,394(67%)exclusively harbored hrGGG,3189(15%)harbored hrPSA,and 1781(8.2%)harbored *** 2132 patients(6.8%)harbored a combination of the 2 DhRCs,and 138(0.6%)had all 3 ***-year CSMrates ranged from 0.9%to 3.0%when any individual DhRC was present(hrcT,hrPSA,and hrGGG,in that order),1.6%to 5.9%when 2 DhRCs were present(hrPSA-hrcT,hrcT-hrGGG,and hrPSA-hrGGG,in that order),and 8.1%when all 3 DhRCs were *** regression models and competing risks regression confirmed the independent predictor status of DhRCs for 5-year CSM that was observed in univariable analyses,with hazard ratios from 1.00 to 2.83 for 1 DhRC,2.35 to 5.88 for combinations of 2 DhRCs,and 7.13 for all 3 ***:Within individual DhRCs,hrcT and hrPSA exhibited weaker effects than hrGGG ***,a dose-response effect was identified according to the number of ***,the type and number of DhRCs allow further risk stratification within the high-risk subgroup.

Perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have made great advances in terms of power conversion efficiency(PCE),yet their subpar stability continues to hinder their *** interface between the perovskite layer and the charge-carrier transporting layers plays a crucial role in undermining the stability of *** this work,we propose a strategy to stabilize high-performance PSCs with PCE over 23%by introducing a cesium-doped graphene oxide(GO-Cs)as an interlayer between the perovskite and hole-transporting *** GO-Cs treated PSCs exhibit excellent operational stability with a projected T80(the time where the device PCE reduces to 80%of its initial value)of 2143 h of operation at the maximum powering point under one sun illumination.

Background: Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma(ICC) still has a poor long-term outcome, even after complete resection. We investigated different parameters gathered in preoperative imaging and analyzed their influence on resectability, recurrence, and survival. Methods: All patients who underwent exploration due to ICC between January 2008 and June 2018 were analyzed retrospectively. Kaplan-Meier model, log-rank test and Cox regression were used. Results: Out of 184 patients, 135(73.4%) underwent curative intended resection. Median overall survival(OS) was 22.2 months with a consecutive 1-, 3-and 5-year OS of 73%, 29%, and 17%. Median recurrencefree survival(RFS) was 9.3 months with a consecutive 1-, 3-and 5-year RFS of 36%, 15%, and 11%. Site of tumor, parenchymal localization, tumor configuration/dissemination, and estimated tumor volume had significant influence on resectability. Univariate analyses showed that site of tumor, tumor configuration/dissemination, number of nodules, and estimated tumor volume had predictive values for OS and RFS. Together with tumor size the preoperative prediction(POP) score was created showing significance for OS and RFS(all PhR=1.779;95% CI: 1.26 8-2.4 95;P=0.001), T stage(hR=1.255;95% CI: 1.040-1.514;P=0.018) and N stage(hR=1.334;95% CI: 1.081-1.645;P=0.007) were the independent predictors for OS. For RFS, POP score(hR=1.733;95% CI: 1.30 0-2.311;PhR=3.036;95% CI: 1.376-6.697;P=0.006) were the independent predictors. Conclusions: The POP score showed to have a highly significant influence on OS and RFS. The score is easy to assess through preoperative imaging. For patients in the high risk group at least staging laparoscopy or preoperative chemotherapy should be evaluated, because they showed equal outcome compared to the irresectable group.

Purpose:The aim of this study was to investigate the influence of the cardiorespiratory fitness level on the response to high-intensity interval training(hIIT)with an individually adjusted running speed of the same relative *** evaluation focused on acute cardiorespiratory response,postexercise cardiac autonomic modulation(heart rate variability(hRV))and biochemical markers of inflammation,oxidative stress,and muscle ***:Thirty participants were divided into 3 subgroups:well trained,moderately trained,and *** the participants performed30 min hIIT composed of 6×2 min interval exercise with work-to-relief ratio=1 and work intensity 100%of individual velocity at maximal oxygen consumption(VO2max).Acute cardiorespiratory variables,postexercise hRV,lactate,interleukin-6(IL-6),total antioxidant capacity(TAC),creatine kinase,and myoglobin up to 4h after hIIT were ***:The differences in relatively expressed cardiorespiratory variables(heart rate,VO2)during hIIT were at most moderate,with the most pronounced between-group differences in absolute VO2 *** disruption of the postexercise hRV was the most pronounced in untrained individuals,and this difference persisted 1 h after *** highest postexercise IL-6 and TAC concentrations and the lowest changes in creatine kinase and myoglobin were revealed in well-trained ***:The higher fitness level was associated with the less pronounced postexercise cardiac autonomic changes and their faster restoration,even when there were similar acute cardiorespiratory *** findings were simultaneously accompanied by the higher postexercise IL-6 and TAC concentrations and less significant changes in muscle damage biochemical markers in well-trained individuals.
