The increasing.anthropog.nic emissions of g.eenhouse g.ses(g.g.is encourag.ng.extensive research in CO_(2)*** reforming.of methane(DRM)depicts a viable strateg. to convert both CO_(2)and CH4into syng.s,a worthwhile chemical *** the different active phases for DRM,the use of nickel as catalyst is economically favourable,but typically deactivates due to sintering.and carbon *** stabilisation of Ni at different loading. in cerium zirconate inorg.nic complex structures is investig.ted in this work as strateg. to develop robust Ni-based DRM *** and TPR-H2analyses confirmed the existence of different phases according.to the Ni loading.in these ***,superficial Ni is observed as well as the existence of a CeNiO_(3)perovskite *** catalytic activity was tested,proving.that 10 wt.%Ni loading.is the optimum which maximises *** catalyst was also tested in long.term stability experiments at 600and 800℃in order to study the potential deactivation issues at two different *** 600℃,carbon formation is the main cause of catalytic deactivation,whereas a robust stability is shown at 800℃,observing.no sintering.of the active phase evidencing.the success of this strateg. rendering.a new family of economically appealing.CO_(2)and biog.s mixtures upg.ading.catalysts.

Due to a complex g.olog.cal and biotic history,the Isthmus of Tehuantepec(IT),has been long.recog.ized as a driver for the evolutionary diverg.nce of numerous lowland and hig.land *** distributed in the lowlands of the American continent,the White-Tipped Dove(Leptotila verreauxi)is a polytypic species with 13 recog.ized *** of these have been recorded in Mexico,and the distribution of three abuts at the IT,sug.esting.a contact *** estimate phylog.netic patterns,diverg.nce times and g.netic differentiation,we examined two mt DNA(ND2 and COI)and one n DNA(β-fibint 7)*** also used correlative ecolog.cal niche models(ENM)to assess whether ecolog.cal differences across the IT may have acted as a biog.og.aphical *** estimated paleodistributions during.the Middle Holocene,Last g.acial Maximum and Last Interg.acial,to evaluate the influence of climate chang.s on the distribution and demog.aphic *** results showed g.netically distinct lineag.s that diverg.d approximately 2.5 million years *** and ecolog.cal factors may have played a dual role in promoting.differentiation,but also in the formation of a secondary contact zone in the southern *** ecolog.cal niche comparisons indicated that the ecolog.cal niche of sympatric lineag.s at the IT are not identical,sug.esting.niches diverg.nce;in addition,environmental niche models across the reg.on indicated no abrupt biog.og.aphic barriers,but the presence of reg.ons with low *** results sug.est that g.netic differentiation orig.nated by a vicariant event probably related to environmental factors,favored the evolution of different ecolog.cal ***,the absence of a biog.og.aphic barrier but the presence of less suitable areas in the contact reg.ons,sug.est that secondary contact zones may be also maintained by climatic factors for the eastern g.oup,but also by biotic interactions for the western g.oup.

This paper presents the quantitative research results of a comprehensive study titled“Current Profle of Older Adults in Castilla-La Mancha(Spain).”The study aims to understand and describe the characteristics of individuals ag.d 65 and above within this autonomous reg.on,with a focus on the variables of sex,ag.,and habitat.A cross-sectional approach was employed,utilizing.quantitative methods to collect *** g.ther information,a customized questionnaire was developed to address the study objectives,covering.various aspects such as sociodemog.aphic factors,living.conditions,leisure activities,social participation,and cultural *** survey was conducted via telephone,ensuring.representation by employing.g.nder quotas,ag.-g.oup stratifcation,and considerations for habitat size.A representative sample of 1,065 participants was included in the *** fnding. reveal a deg.ee of homog.neity in the lifestyles of older adults,with discernible variations infuenced by factors such as sex,habitat,and *** results shed lig.t on the diverse habits and experiences of older adults,emphasizing.the sig.ifcance of habitat conditions,social participation,and the ag.ng.process.

There is an increasing.interest in restoring.deg.aded forests,which occupy half of the forest *** the forms of restoration,passive restoration,which involves the elimination of deg.ading.factors and the free evolution of natural dynamics by applying.minimal or no manag.ment,is g.ining.*** dynamics is difficult to predict due to the influence of multiple interacting.factors such as climatic and edaphic conditions,composition and abundance of species,and the successional character of these ***,we study the natural dynamics of a mixed forest located in central Spain,which maintained an open forest structure,due to intensive use,until g.azing.and cutting.were banned in the *** most frequent woody species in this forest are Fag.s sylvatica,Quercus petraea,Quercus pyrenaica,Ilex aquifolium,Sorbus aucuparia,Sorbus aria and Prunus avium,with contrasting.shade and droug.t *** species are common in temperate European deciduous forest and are found here near their southern distribution limit,except for *** order to analyze forest dynamics and composition,three inventories were carried out in 1994,2005 and *** results show that,despite the Mediterranean influence,the natural dynamics of this forest has been mainly determined by different levels of shade *** the abandonment of g.azing.and cutting.*** expanded rapidly due to its lower shade tolerance,whereas after canopy closure and forest densification,shade-tolerant species g.ined g.ound,particularly ***,despite its lower droug.t and late-frost *** the current dynamics continue,*** will overtake the rest of the species,which will be releg.ted to sites with shallow soils and steep ***,all the multi-centennial beech trees,which are underg.ing.a rapid mortality and decline process,will disappear.

Backg.ound Pediatric cancer survivors are at increased risk of muscle weakness and low areal bone mineral density(aBMD).However,the prevalence of muscle streng.h deficits is not well documented,and the associations of muscle streng.h with aBMD are unknown in this ***,this study aimed to investig.te the prevalence of upper-and lower-body muscle streng.h deficits and to examine the associations of upper-and lower-body muscle streng.h with ag.-,sex,and race-specific aBMD Z-scores at the total body,total hip,femoral neck,and lumbar *** This cross-sectional study included 116 pediatric cancer survivors(12.1±3.3 years old,mean±SD;42.2%female).Upper-and lower-body muscle streng.h were assessed by handg.ip and standing.long.jump test,***‑energ. BACKg.OUND Video-capsule endoscopy(VCE)is an efficient tool that has proven to be hig.ly useful in approaching.several g.strointestinal *** was implemented in Colombia in 2003,however current characterization of patients underg.ing.VCE in Colombia is limited,and mainly comes from two investig.tions conducted before the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic *** To describe the characteristics of patients underg.ing.VCEs and establish the main indications,finding.,technical limitations,and other outstanding.*** A descriptive study was carried out using.data from reports of VCE(PillCam SB3 system)use in a g.stroenterolog. Unit in Bog.tá,Colombia between September 2019 and January *** and clinical variables such as indication for the VCE,g.stric and small bowel transit times(g.T,SBTT),endoscopic preparation quality,and limitations were described[n(%),median(IQR)].RESULTS A total of 133 VCE reports were *** were in men with a median ag. of 70 *** majority had g.od preparation(96.2%),and there were technical limitations in 15.8%of *** main indications were unexplained anemia(91%)or occult bleeding.23.3%).The median g.T and SBTT were 14 and 30 minutes,*** frequencies of bleeding.stig.a(3.79%)and active bleeding.9.09%)were low,and the most frequent abnormal finding. were red spots(28.3%),erosions(17.6%),and vascular ectasias(12.5%).CONCLUSION VCE showed hig.-level *** main indication was unexplained *** bleeding.was the most frequent *** with artificial intellig.nce,VCE can improve diag.ostic precision and targ.ted therapeutic interventions.
