In this study, we propose the fabrication of monolithic crystalline silicon solar cells with Tb^(3+) and Yb^(3+)-doped silicon nitride(SiN_x) layers by low-cost screen-printing methods. The performances of c-Si solar cells can be enhanced by rare-earth ions doped SiN_x layers via the mechanism of spectrum *** SiN_x doped and codoped thin films were deposited by reactive magnetron co-sputtering and integrated as the antireflection coating layers in c-Si solar cells. The characterizations of SiN_x, SiN_x:Tb^(3+) tand SiN_x:Tb^(3+)-Yb^(3+) thin films were conducted by means of photoluminescence, Rutherford backscattering spectroscopy, Ellipsometry spectroscopy and Fourier transform infrared measurements. Their composition and refractive index was optimized to obtain good anti-reflection coating layer for c-Si solar *** electron microscopy performs the uniform coatings on the textured emitter of c-Si solar cells. After the metallization process, we demonstrate monolithic c-Si solar cells with spectrum conversion layers, which lead to a relative increase by 1.34% in the conversion efficiency.

Background:Mosquitoes have developed resistance against pyrethroids,the only class of insecticides approved for use on long-lasting insecticidal nets(LLINs).The present study sought to evaluate the efficacy of the pyrethroid synergist PermaNet^(■)3.0 LLIN versus the pyrethroid-only PermaNet^(■)2.0 LLIN,in an East African hut design in Lower Moshi,northern *** this setting,resistance to pyrethroid insecticides has been identified in Anopheles gambiae ***:Standard World Health Organization bioefficacy evaluations were conducted in both laboratory and experimental *** hut evaluations were conducted in an area where there was presence of a population of highly pyrethroid-resistant *** *** nets used were subjected to cone bioassays and then to experimental hut *** mortality,blood-feeding inhibition and personal protection rate were compared between untreated nets,unwashed LLINs and LLINs that were washed 20 ***:Both washed and unwashed PermaNet^(■)2.0 and PermaNet^(■)3.0 LLINs had knockdown and mortality rates of 100%against a susceptible strain of *** sensu *** adjusted mortality rate of the wild mosquito population after use of the unwashed PermaNet^(■)3.0 and PermaNet^(■)2.0 nets was found to be higher than after use of the washed PermaNet^(■)2.0 and PermaNet^(■)3.0 ***:Given the increasing incidence of pyrethroid resistance in *** mosquitoes in Tanzania,we recommend that consideration is given to its distribution in areas with pyrethroid-resistant malaria vectors within the framework of a national insecticide-resistance management plan.

This work presents a new framework for three-dimensional modeling of dynamic fires present in unstructured scenes. The proposed approach addresses the problem of segmenting fire regions using information from YUV and RGB color spaces. Clustering is also used to extract salient points from a pair of stereo images. These points are then used to reconstruct 3D positions in the scene. A matching strategy is proposed to deal with mismatches due to occlusions and missing data. The obtained data are fitted in a 3D ellipsoid in order to model the enclosing fire volume. This form is then used to compute dynamic fire characteristics like its position, dimension, orientation, heading direction, etc. These results are of great importance for fire behavior monitoring and prediction.

Fungal stromata were recently discovered in association with charcoal and burnt soil aggregates during an archaeological survey in the Chaˆtillon-sur-Seine forest *** wood and soil in the samples were dated to the medieval period(between 738 and 1411 AD).Light microscopy and scanning electron microscopy revealed that a few of the stromatal fragments still contained *** macromorphological characters were described and secondary metabolite profiles were generated using high performance liquid chromatography with diode array and mass spectrometric detection(HPLC–DAD/MS).The combination of these two data lines then allowed species *** of the fragments were assigned to Hypoxylon fragiforme,the type species of the Hypoxylaceae(Xylariales).Two further species whose stromata grew on the fossil charcoal could be tentatively identified as Jackrogersella cohaerens and(more tentatively)as Hypoxylon *** three species are still commonly encountered in the forests of Central Europe ***,the HPLC-HRMS data of *** suggested the presence of unknown azaphilone dimers and of further new *** archaeological compounds were compared to fresh stromata of *** collected in Germany and subjected to the same analytical *** the major components in both samples were identified as the known mitorubrin type azaphilones and orsellinic acid,the chemical structures of seven novel complex azaphilone pigments,for which we propose the trivial names rutilins C-D and fragirubrins A-E,were elucidated using spectral methods(NMR and CD spectroscopy,high resolution mass spectrometry).It appears that these pigments had indeed persisted for millennia in the fossil stromata.

利用差示扫描量热仪(DSC)分别对籼米、粳米、泰国香米及糯米米粉热特性作了研究。实验结果表明:直链淀粉、蛋白质及脂类对米粉糊化熔点、峰值、糊化终点温度及糊化焓变有重要影响。直链淀粉显著影响大米米粉的糊化熔点、峰值和终点温度,高直链淀粉含量的大米米粉的糊化熔点、峰值和终点温度均高于中、低及糯米米粉;高直链淀粉含量的大米蒸煮性差、能耗高、蒸煮时间长,中、低直链淀粉含量的大米蒸煮性好、能耗少、蒸煮时间短。米粉中的蛋白质可能起到升高米粉糊化熔点、峰值及终点温度的作用;大米蛋白质含量越高,大米蒸煮性越差、能耗越高、蒸煮时间越长。米粉中的脂类对米粉热特性的影响较复杂,脂类可能起到降低糊化熔点糊化焓变的效果;大米中脂类含量越高,大米蒸煮性好、能耗少、蒸煮时间短。
