Several epidemiological models have been proposed to study the evolution of COVID-19 *** this paper,we propose an extension of the SUIHTER model,to analyse the COVID-19 spreading in Italy,which accounts for the vaccination campaign and the presence of new variants when they become *** particular,the specific features of the variants(*** increased transmission rate)and vaccines(*** efficacy to prevent transmission,hospitalization and death)are modeled,based on clinical *** new model is validated comparing its near-future forecast capabilities with other epidemiological models and exploring different scenario analyses.

In the context of SARS-CoV-2 pandemic,mathematical modelling has played a funda-mental role for making forecasts,simulating scenarios and evaluating the impact of pre-ventive political,social and pharmaceutical *** control theory represents a useful mathematical tool to plan the vaccination campaign aimed at eradicating the pandemic as fast as *** aim of this work is to explore the optimal prioritisation order for planning vaccination campaigns able to achieve specific goals,as the reduction of the amount of infected,deceased and hospitalized in a given time frame,among age *** this purpose,we introduce an age stratified SIR-like epidemic compartmental model settled in an abstract framework for modelling two-doses vaccination campaigns and conceived with the description of COVID19 *** to other recent works,our model incorporates all stages of the COVID-19 disease,including death or recovery,without accounting for additional specific compartments that would increase computa-tional complexity and that are not relevant for our ***,we introduce an optimal control framework where the model is the state problem while the vaccine doses administered are the control *** extensive campaign of numerical tests,featured in the Italian scenario and calibrated on available data from Dipartimento di Protezione Civile Italiana,proves that the presented framework can be a valuable tool to support the planning of vaccination ***,in each considered scenario,our optimization framework guarantees noticeable improvements in terms of reducing deceased,infected or hospitalized individuals with respect to the baseline vaccination policy.

The authors consider a phase field model for Darcy flows with discontinuous data in porous media; specifically,they adopt the Hele-Shaw-Cahn-Hillard equations of[Lee,Lowengrub,Goodman,Physics of Fluids,2002] to model flows in the Hele-Shaw cell through a phase field formulation which incorporates discontinuities of physical data,namely density and viscosity,across interfaces. For the spatial approximation of the problem,the authors use NURBS—based isogeometric analysis in the framework of the Galerkin method,a computational framework which is particularly advantageous for the solution of high order partial differential equations and phase field problems which exhibit sharp but smooth interfaces. In this paper,the authors verify through numerical tests the sharp interface limit of the phase field model which in fact leads to an internal discontinuity interface problem; finally,they show the efficiency of isogeometric analysis for the numerical approximation of the model by solving a benchmark problem,the so-called"rising bubble" problem.

The main aims of the current study are to determine the morphological features of the periglacial landforms(non-sorted step,mud circle,stony earth circle,thufur,and congeliturbation)located on the Ilgaz Mountains,examine the physicochemical and mineralogical properties with pedological processes of the soils,and assess of the effects of climatic conditions controlling the development of *** Ilgaz Mountains(2587 m a.s.l.),located in the Western Black Sea Region,within the Anatolian Mountains,are important in terms of periglacial landforms(mud circles,stony earth circles,thufurs,non-sorted steps,non-sorted stripes,congeliturbation deposits,and block currents).The descriptive statistics of 123 periglacial landforms measured by fieldworks were *** distribution of freezing and thawing in the Ilgaz Mountains throughout the year was evaluated,and it was found that freezing takes place between December and March,freezing-thawing takes place in April,May,October and November,and thawing takes place between June and *** to soil properties,organic matter content changes from 1.88%to 12.72%in non-sorted step soils,while it is between 2.03%and 12.24%in stony earth circle *** organic matter is observed to be close to congeliturbation deposits at lower ratios compared to non-sorted steps,stony earth circles and mud *** soil reactions on stony earth circles and non-sorted steps vary between slightly acidic and slightly *** the other hand,soil samples taken from the mud circles are different from those taken from the non-sorted steps and stony earth *** soil reaction is acidic,and pH changes between 4.86 and *** lime content also varies between 2.81%and 32.08%,with an average of 12.02%.The texture properties of soils are dominantly loam and clay loam,as in the non-sorted steps,stony earth circles,and mud *** their mineralogical properties,the XRD study was carried out to determine the primer mineral

The research project illustrates how performance-driven design tools can be conducted as an architectural design methodology that suggests an innovative approach to design a habitation shell in extreme environmental conditions without human *** research study attempts to use environmental data revealed by NASA and its habitat design requirements to develop a conceptual design for an innovative habitation form and then simulate it with Mars conditions to analyze the habitation shell’s structural behavior according to finite element *** this regard,research phases,including layout configuration,form-finding,and structural analysis,have been conducted to explore a habitation concept implemented with generative design tools as a decision-maker in extreme *** conclusion,two generated typologies of proposed habitation forms will be compared in terms of their structural performance under extreme loads of the martian *** this research project,due to the numerous extreme challenges of design and construction of habitation in extreme conditions using conventional approaches,a performance-driven design methodology will provide a rational and sustainable design methodology to tackle extreme barriers to Mars’s environment.

目的探讨润肺益肾饮对肺癌荷瘤大鼠的抑瘤作用和肿瘤免疫微环境的影响。方法将Lewis肺癌细胞接种于大鼠右季肋部皮下建立肺癌大鼠模型,随机分为模型组、润肺益肾饮低剂量(润肺益肾饮-L)组(3.5 g/kg)、润肺益肾饮中剂量(润肺益肾饮-M)组(7.0 g/kg)、润肺益肾饮高剂量(润肺益肾饮-H)组(14.0 g/kg)以及阳性药组(6 mg/kg顺铂),并以正常大鼠为对照组;干预结束后,计算各组大鼠肺指数、脾脏指数及抑瘤率;收集血液,酶联免疫吸附试验(ELISA)检测血清中转化生长因子(TGF)-β、白细胞介素(IL)-2、γ干扰素(IFN-γ)水平;流式细胞术检测外周血T淋巴细胞亚群;分离肺肿瘤组织,HE染色检测其病理学变化,Western blot检测肿瘤组织程序性死亡受体1(PD-L1)和B淋巴细胞瘤-2(Bcl-2)表达。结果与对照组相比,模型组病理损伤严重,肺指数、TGF-β、CD8^(+)、PD-L1、Bcl-2表达水平升高,脾指数、IL-2、IFN-γ、CD3^(+)、CD4^(+)及CD4^(+)/CD8^(+)降低(P0.05)。结论润肺益肾饮可显著抑制肺癌荷瘤大鼠的肿瘤生长,改善肿瘤免疫微环境。

目的探讨精乌胶囊联合艾司唑仑治疗心肾不交型失眠症的临床疗效。方法选取2021年9月—2023年9月在武汉市中医医院诊治的128例心肾不交型失眠患者,按随机数字法分为对照组(64例)和治疗组(64例)。对照组患者睡前口服艾司唑仑片,1 mg/次,1次/d。在对照组的基础上,治疗组口服精乌胶囊,6粒/次,3次/d。两组连服药30 d。观察两组患者临床疗效,比较治疗前后两组患者症状好转时间,匹兹堡睡眠质量指数(PSQI)评分,血清因子白细胞介素-1β(IL-1β)、前列腺素D2(PGD2)、5-羟色胺(5-HT)和肿瘤坏死因子-α(TNF-α)水平,及不良反应。结果治疗后,治疗组总有效率为98.43%,明显高于对照组(84.38%,P<0.05)。治疗后,治疗组入睡困难、睡眠较浅、容易惊醒、醒后难以入睡好转时间均明显短于对照组(P<0.05)。治疗后,两组患者PSQI评分明显降低(P<0.05),且治疗组患者PSQI评分明显低于对照组(P<0.05)。治疗后,两组患者血清因子IL-1β和TNF-α明显降低,而PGD2和5-HT水平明显升高(P<0.05),且治疗组这些血清因子水平均明显好于对照组(P<0.05)。药物期间,对照组不良反应发生率为12.57%,明显高于治疗组(4.69%,P<0.05)。结论艾司唑仑与精乌胶囊协同治疗,可有效改善临床失眠症状,有效减弱失眠相关因子水平,明显提升睡眠质量。

Ultrafine bubbles and low doses of gamma irradiation had a positive effect on seed *** research tested the effectiveness of ultrafine bubbles(UFB)water and gamma irradiation for improving the viability and vigor of Albizia chinensis(Osbeck)*** that had been stored for four years.A completely randomized two-factor experiment,i.e.,UFB water and gamma irradiation treatments,were used to determine the best seed *** UFB water treatment had a significant effect on all seed germination parameters;the gamma irradiation treatment did not have a significant effect on improving the viability and vigor of the seeds,with a very low initial germination(11.7%).Soaking the seeds in UFB water for 30 min gave the best germination(51.3%).These improvements also occurred in other germination parameters such as germination rate,germination value,radicle length and vigor *** UFB water treatment has the potential to improve the germination of seeds with low physiological qualities.
