An exploration of meteorological effects on PM_(2.5) air quality in several provinces and cities in Vietnam

Linking meteorology and air pollutants is a key *** study investigated meteorological effects on PM_(2.5)concentration using the advanced convergent cross mapping method,utilizing hourly PM_(2.5)concentration and six meteorological factors across eight provinces and cities in *** demonstrated that temperature(ρ=0.30)and radiation(ρ=0.30)produced the highest effects,followed by humidity(ρ=0.28)and wind speed(ρ=0.24),while pressure(ρ=0.22)and wind direction(ρ=0.17)produced the weakest effects on PM_(2.5)*** theρvalues showed that temperature,wind speed,and wind direction had greater impacts on PM_(2.5)concentration during the dry season whereas radiation had a more influence during the wet season;Southern stations experienced larger meteorological ***,humidity,pressure,and wind direction had both positive and negative influences on PM_(2.5)concentration,while radiation and wind speed mostly had negative *** PM_(2.5)pollution episodes,there wasmore contribution ofmeteorological effects on PM_(2.5)concentration indicated byρ*** contaminated levels,humidity(ρ=0.45)was the most dominant factor affecting PM_(2.5)concentration,followed by temperature(ρ=0.41)and radiation(ρ=0.40).Pollution episodes were pointed out to be more prevalent under higher humidity,higher pressure,lower temperature,lower radiation,and lower wind ***ρcalculation also revealed that lower temperature,lower radiation,and higher humidity greatly accelerated each other under pollution episodes,further enhancing PM_(2.5)*** findings contributed to the literature on meteorology and air pollution interaction.

Thermal Annealing and Graphene Modification of Exfoliated Hydrogen Titanate Nanosheets for Enhanced Lithium-ion Intercalation Properties

Hydrogen titanate has been considered as a promising lithium intercalation material due to its unique layered structure. In the present work, we fabricate 2D graphene/hydrogen titanate hybrid nanosheets for application as anode materials in lithium-ion batteries. H2Ti307 nanosheets are synthesized by exfoliation of a layered precursor via interacting bulky tetrabutylammonium （TBA＋） cations, followed by ion exchange with Na＋ ions and washing with water. The as-prepared hydrogen titanate nanosheets are well-dispersed exhibiting ultra-thin thickness with a lateral size up to a few micrometers. The sample is then annealed at 450, 650 Rnd 850 ℃, to optimize its Li＋-intercalation property. Heating at 450 ℃ leads to well-crystallized hydrogen titanate with a trace amount of TiO2. Heating at 650 and 850 ℃ results in mixed sodium titanates, since some sodium ions in the interlayer structure cannot be washed away and become chemically bonded to [TiO6] octahedra at high temperatures. Electrochemical properties of all the four samples are then evaluated by charged/discharged for 100 electrochemical cycles at 0.01-2.5 V vs. Li＋/Li at a specific current of 170 mA g-1. The unannealed hydrogen titanate delivers the highest initial discharge capacity of 130.5 mA h g-l, higher than 124.6 mA h g-1 from hydrogen titanate annealed at 450 ℃, as well as 101.3 and 63.8 mA h g-1 from hydrogen titanate annealed at 650 and 850℃, respectively, due to the high surface area from well-dispersed unannealed nanosheets. However, after 100 electrochemical cycles, well-crystallized hydrogen titanate annealed at 450 ℃ retain the highest charge capacity of 115.2 mA h g-1, corresponding to a capacity retention of 92.5%, while unannealed hydrogen titanate exhibits a final capacity of 72.1 mA h g-1 and a capacity retention of only 55.2%. Conversion of nitrogen and carbon in enriched paddy soil by denitrification coupled with anammox in a bioelectrochemical system

The aim of this study is to investigate conversion of nitrogen and COD in enriched paddy soil by nitrification coupled with anammox process in a dual chamber bioelectrochemical *** paddy soil was enriched for denitrification coupled with anammox by microbial consortia and was acclimatized in the cathodic chamber of microbial fuel cells(MFCs).The bioelectrochemical systems were treated with different ammonium concentrations in the cathodic chamber:the MFC with low concentration ammonium(la-MFC,50 mg/L ammonium),the MFC with medium concentration ammonium(MA-MFC,500 mg/L ammonium),and MFC with high concentration ammonium(HA-MFC,1000 mg/L ammonium),and the initial COD in the anodic chamber was 1200 mg/*** CK treatments were conducted with1000 mg/L ammonium under the same conditions,except without inoculum in the cathode *** consumption rate of ammonium in the cathodic chambers of CK,la-MFC,MA-MFC,and HA-MFC were 9%,64%,84%,and 84%,*** degradation rate for COD achieved in the anode chambers of CK,la-MFC,MA-MFC,and HA-MFC were 70%,86%,93%,and 93%,*** analysis of the microbial community of three treated MFCs in the cathode chamber indicated that the nitrification-denitrification process occurs in the cathode *** dominant species for nitrification was Nitrospira,and the dominant species for denitrification were Denitratisoma,Dechloromonas,and Candidatus_***,anammox process also observed in the cathode *** functional genes nir S/K,hzs B,and 16S rDNA were assessed by qPCR analysis,and the results confirmed the presence of denitrification-coupled anammox in the cathodic chamber.

Criteria of limiting temperature and parametric analysis of the large deflection behavior for fully restrained steel beams in fire

This paper mainly involve 3 parts:1) To apply the minimum principle of acceleration in dynamics of elastic-plastic continua at finite deformation to the statics problems,a computing model is presented for the restrained steel beams exposed to the *** this model,both effects of large deflection and thermal expansion deformation are taken into account,and the constitutive equations with the temperature effects are *** a dynamic finite difference(DFD) method is presented by using the dis-crete technique,which can be used in simulating the response of the steel beams at elevated temperature,and the large deflec-tion behavior and catenary action effects of the beams can be adequately *** primary numerical results show that the method is valid and *** with other methods,this technique is very simple,and it can also be further devel-oped to simulate the behavior of steel beams subjected to the coupling loading of explosion and fire when both effects of strain rate and inertia are considered.2) By using this DFD method,detailed parametric analysis are presented so as to check the consistency of response results for several different formulas of thermal expansion deformation and retention factors of steel at elevated temperature,the influence of these parameters on the critical temperature is examined.3) Based on the analysis for the curves of temperature-generalized yield function comprised by the axial force and bending moment,both criteria to determine the limiting temperature(or failure temperature) of large deflection steel beams are presented more explicitly,that is,both lim-iting temperatures can be determined by if the catenary force begins to appear or arrives at the maximum value,*** is shown by numerical results that both limiting temperatures are close to the both critical temperatures which are correspond-ing to the maximum deflections equal to span/20 and span/10,*** conclusion may be helpful to make r

Petrogenesis and tectonic implications of the Early Cretaceous Dagushan adakitic porphyries in the Anshan area,North China Craton

The eastern part of the North China Craton suffered significant lithospheric thinning since the Mesozoic,and petrogenesis of the Dagushan adakitic diorite porphyries provides an excellent opportunity to investigate the lithospheric thinning mechanism and geodynamic *** zircon la-ICP-MS U–Pb geochronology reveals that the representative Dagushan adakitic porphyry was formed at 120.5±0.5 *** Dagushan diorite porphyries are characterized by the relatively high contents of SiO_(2)(64.25–65.70 wt%),Al_(2) O_(3)(15.00–15.38 wt%),Sr(333–491 ppm),low contents of Y(6.50–10.3 ppm),and Yb(0.57–0.85 ppm),and resultant high Sr/Y(47–57)and la/Yb(37–55)ratios,exhibiting geochemical characteristics of typical ***,the relatively high Mg O contents(MgO=2.23–2.29 wt%)and Mg numbers(Mg^(#)-=54–56)of the Dagushan adakitic rocks imply that the pristine adakitic magma interacted with mantle ***,the zircon Hf isotopic signatures(εHf(t)=-19.0 to-28.0;TDM2=2378–2944 Ma)suggest an ancient lower crustal ***,it is proposed that the Dagushan adakitic rock was probably generated by partial melting of delaminated lower crust which was triggered by the Tan-Lu Fault Zone,and the interaction of pristine adakitic magma with mantle peridotite during the ascent finally generated the Dagushan high Mg^(#)adakitic *** is suggested that delamination was an important mechanism for lithospheric thinning of the NCC.

A multilayer film,composed by ZrN‒Ag(20 nm)and Mo‒S‒N(10 nm)layers,combining the intrinsic lubricant characteristics of each layer was deposited using DC magnetron sputtering system,to promote lubrication in a wide-range of *** results showed that the ZrN‒Ag/Mo‒S‒N multilayer film exhibited a sharp interface between the different layers.A face-centered cubic(fcc)dual-phases of ZrN and Ag co-existed in the ZrN‒Ag layers,whilst the Mo‒S‒N layers displayed a mixture of hexagonal close-packed MoS_(2)(hcp-MoS_(2))nano-particles and an amorphous *** multilayer film exhibited excellent room temperature(RT)triblogical behavior,as compared to the individual monolayer film,due to the combination of a relative high hardness with the low friction properties of both *** reorientation of MoS_(2)parallel to the sliding direction also contributed to the enhanced anti-frictional performance at *** 400℃,the reorientation of MoS_(2)as well as the formation of MoO_(3)phase were responsible for the lubrication,whilst the hard t-ZrO_(2)phase promoted abrasion and,consequently,led to increasing wear *** 600℃,the Ag_(2)MoO_(4)double-metal oxide was the responsible for the low friction and wear-resistance;furthermore,the observed transformation from t-ZrO_(2)to m-ZrO_(2),could also have contributed to the better tribological performance.

Synthesis,Structure and Magnetic Properties of Novel Carboxylato-bridged Pentanuclear Copper(Ⅱ)-lanthanoid(Ⅲ)Complexes

Six novel pentanuclear complexes [Cu 3Ln 2(ClCH 2CO 2) 12 (H 2O) 8]·2H 2O (Ln=la, Pr, Sm, Gd, Dy, or Er) were synthesized by the reaction of chloroacetic acid with Cu and Ln ions in aqueous solutions. The X ray crystallography established the structure of the Gd complex, which contains a pair of quadruply acetato bridged CuGd dinuclear subunits, and each of them is linked to the central Cu atom by a single acetato bridge. The coordination sphere of each Gd atom is completed by three aqua ligands [Gd-O=0.242 8(5)-0.244 4(4) nm] to form an 8 coordinated distorted square antiprism. The central Cu atom is coordinated by two oxygen atoms from the two bridging acetato groups and two oxygen atoms from the two monodentate acetato groups in a slightly distorted square planar fashion, while each terminal Cu atom is coordinated by the four acetato oxygen atoms at the basal plane and an aqua ligand at the apical position to form a square pyramid. The variable temperature (4 320 K) magnetic susceptibility data of the Gd complex were measured, and fitted to the Curie Weiss law with C =16.38 K cm 3·mol -1 and θ =-1.55 K, indicating very weak antiferromagnetic interaction.

Rat snakes(genus Ptyas)include 13 large Asian species with sizes reaching 3.8 *** more than 100 years,no new species have been discovered in this ***,we describe a new Ptyas from central Vietnam based on morphological data and nucleotide sequences from the MT-CYB *** bachmaensis *** diagnosed by the following morphological characters:large-sized snake(largest total length 2401 mm in adult male);body scale rows in even numbers,16-16-14 rows;two medial vertebral scale rows distinct;two and two or four medial scale rows keeled on middle and posterior parts of body,respectively;ventrals 194-199;subcaudals 132-138;supralabials 8,fourth and fifth entering orbit;maxillary teeth 28 or 29;hemipenis spinose and unforked,reaching 12th subcaudal;cloacal plate divided;lateral side of tail black,without a bright *** new species forms an independent clade on the phylogenetic tree and differs from its congeners by an uncorrected p-distance in MTCYB sequences of at least 5.7%.
