Unraveling the mechanism of malancao in treating ulcerative colitis:A multi-omics approach

BACKGROUND Malancao(MLC)is a traditional Chinese medicine with a long history of utilization in treating ulcerative colitis(UC).Nevertheless,the precise molecular mechanisms underlying its efficacy remain *** study leveraged ultrahigh-performance liquid chromatography coupled with exactive mass spectrometry(UHPLC-QE-MS),network pharmacology,molecular docking(MD),and gene microarray analysis to discern the bioactive constituents and the potential mechanism of action of MLC in UC *** To determine the ingredients related to MLC for treatment of UC using multiple databases to obtain potential targets for *** This research employs UHPLC-QE-MS for the identification of bioactive compounds present in MLC plant ***,the study integrates the identified MLC compound-related targets with publicly available databases to elucidate common drug disease ***,the R programming language is utilized to predict the central targets and molecular pathways that MLC may impact in the treatment of ***,MD are conducted using AutoDock Vina software to assess the affinity of bioactive components to the main targets and confirm their therapeutic *** Firstly,through a comprehensive analysis of UHPLC-QE-MS data and public database resources,we identified 146 drug-disease cross targets related to 11 bioactive *** Gene Ontology and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes analysis highlighted that common disease drug targets are primarily involved in oxidative stress management,lipid metabolism,atherosclerosis,and other *** also affect AGE-RAGE and apoptosis signaling ***,by analyzing the differences in diseases,we identified key research *** core targets are related to 11 active substances,including active ingredients such as quercetin and ***,MD analysis revealed the stability of compound-protein binding,particularly between JUNluteolin,JUN-Quercetin,HSP90A

Inactivation Mechanisms of Escherichia Coli in Drinking Water Using Reactive Species Generated from a Surface Discharge

Active flutter suppression of nonlinear fin-actuator system via inverse system and immersion and invariance method

Structural nonlinearities such as freeplay will affect the stability and even flight safety of the fin-actuator *** is a lack of a practical method for designing Active Flutter Suppression (AFS) control laws for nonlinear fin-actuator systems.A design method for the AFS controller of the nonlinear all-movable fin-electromechanical actuator system is established by combining the inverse system and the Immersion and Invariance (I&I) ***,the composite control law combining the inverse system principle and internal model control is used to offset the nonlinearity and dynamics of the actuator,so that its driving torque can follow the ideal ***,the ideal torque of the actuator is designed employing the I&I *** unfavorable oscillation of the fin is suppressed by making the output torque of the actuator track the ideal *** simulation results reveal that the proposed AFS method can increase the flutter speed of the nonlinear finactuator system with freeplay,and a set of controller parameters is also applicable for wider freeplay within a certain *** power required for the actuator does not exceed the power that can be provided by the commonly used aviation *** method can also resist a certain level of noise and external disturbance.

Towards adaptive graph neural networks via solving prior-data conflicts

Graph neural networks(GNNs)have achieved remarkable performance in a variety of graph-related *** evidence in the GNN community shows that such good performance can be attributed to the homophily prior;i.e.,connected nodes tend to have similar features and ***,in heterophilic settings where the features of connected nodes may vary significantly,GNN models exhibit notable performance *** this work,we formulate this problem as prior-data confict and propose a model called the mixture-prior graph neural network(MPGNN).First,to address the mismatch of homophily prior on heterophilic graphs,we introduce the non-informative prior,which makes no assumptions about the relationship between connected nodes and learns such relationship from the ***,to avoid performance degradation on homophilic graphs,we implement a soft switch to balance the effects of homophily prior and non-informative prior by learnable *** evaluate the performance of MPGNN on both synthetic and real-world *** show that MPGNN can effectively capture the relationship between connected nodes,while the soft switch helps select a suitable prior according to the graph *** these two designs,MPGNN outperforms state-of-the-art methods on heterophilic graphs without sacrificing performance on homophilic graphs.

A GNSS Anti-Spoofing Technique Based on the Spatial Distribution Characteristic of the Residual Vectors

Anti-spoofing is becoming a crucial technique for applications with high navigation accuracy and reliability ***-spoofing technique based on Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring(RAIM)is a good choice for most Global navigation Satellite System(GNSS)receivers because it does not require any change to the hardware of the ***,the conventional RAIM method can only detect and mitigate a single spoofing *** improved RAIM methods can deal with more spoofing signals,but the computational complexity increases dramatically when the number of satellites in view increase or need additional *** paper proposes a new RAIM method,called the SRV-RAIM method,which has a very low computation complexity regardless of the number of satellites in view and can deal with any number of spoofing *** key to the new method is the spatial distribution characteristic of the Satellites'Residual Vectors(SRV).In replay or generative spoofing scenarios,the pseudorange measurements of spoofing signals are consistent,the residual vectors of real satellites and those of spoofing satellites have good separation characteristics in spatial *** on this characteristic,the SRV-RAIM method is proposed,and the simulation results show that the method can separate the real signals and the spoofing signals with an average probability of 86.55%in the case of 12 visible satellites,regardless of the number of spoofing *** to the conventional traversal-RAIM method,the performance is only reduced by 3.59%,but the computational cost is reduced by 98.3%,so most of the GNSS receivers can run the SRV-RAIM algorithm in time.

Exploring mechanism of hidden,steep obliquely inclined bedding landslides using a 3DEC model:A case study of the Shanyang landslide in Shaanxi Province,China

Catastrophic geological disasters frequently occur on slopes with obliquely inclined bedding structures(also referred to as obliquely inclined bedding slopes),where the apparent dip sliding is not readily *** phenomenon has become a focal point in landslide ***,there is a lack of studies on the failure modes and mechanisms of hidden,steep obliquely inclined bedding *** study investigated the Shanyang landslide in Shaanxi Province,*** field investigations,laboratory tests of geotechnical parameters,and the 3DEC software,this study developed a numerical model of the landslide to analyze the failure process of such *** findings indicate that the Shanyang landslide primarily crept along a weak interlayer under the action of *** landslide,initially following a dip angle with the support of a stable inclined rock mass,shifted direction under the influence of argillization in the weak interlayer,moving towards the apparent dip *** slide resistance effect of the karstic dissolution zone was increasingly significant during this process,with lateral friction being the primary resistance force.A reduction in the lateral friction due to karstic dissolution made the apparent dip sliding characteristics of the Shanyang landslide more ***,deformations such as bending and uplift at the slope’s foot suggest that the main slide resistance shifts from lateral friction within the karstic dissolution zone to the slope foot’s resistance force,leading to the eventual buckling failure of the *** study unveils a novel failure mode of apparent dip creep-buckling in the Shanyang landslide,highlighting the critical role of lateral friction from the karstic dissolution zone in its failure *** insights offer a valuable reference for mitigating risks and preventing disasters related to obliquely inclined bedding landslides.

Metal-organic framework(MoF)with a buildable internal structure has aroused great interest focus as self-sacrificing precursors of porous carbon(PC).However,as a drug carrier,the MOF-derived PC developed thus far are generally composed of irregular powder shape due to their crystalline nature,which consequently causing the cerebral infarction,cerebral thrombosis,and other blood *** this article,we propose a novel approach to constructing amorphous carbon microspheres(AcMs)by dis-torting the topological network through hydrothermal treatment precursors of MIL-101(Fe).Then,a distinctive MIL-101(Fe)-derived spherical porous carbons(MSPC)is achieved through high temperature calcination toward *** of the glucose initial concentration and hydrothermal treatment time on the sphericity of the as-prepared mesoporous MsPC were investigated in *** the loading capacities and sustained-release performances of nitroimidazole drugs over MsPC through simulation internal environment of human body at different pH values was systematically *** nitro-imidazole drugs loading rate and release time of MsPC are 10% and 17 h under preferred ***,the MSPC exhibited very low toxicity on Hela cells and 293T cells at the concentrations tested(10-800μg mL^(-1)).This study,therefore,supports the potential of the mesoporous carbon spheres as a carrierfor nitroimidazole drug delivery.
