Let Λ ? R^n be a uniformly discrete set and let c_Λ be the vector space consisting of all mean periodic functions whose spectrum is simple and contained in Λ. If Λ is a gentle set then for every f ∈ c_Λ we have f(x) = O(ω_Λ(x)) as |x| →∞ and ω_Λ(x) can be estimated(Theorem 4.1). This line of research was proposed by Jean-Pierre Kahane in 1957.

This article investigates the interest of using in-situ piezoelectric(PZT and PVDF)disks to perform real-time Structural Health Monitoring(SHM)of glass fiber-reinforced polymer composites submitted to var-ious tensile *** goal is to evaluate the working range and SHM potential of such embedded transducers for relatively simple mechanical loadings,with the long-term aim of using them to monitor complete 3D structures submitted to more complex *** is performed acquiring the electrical capacitance variation of the embedded *** study the potential links between the insitu capacitance signal and the global response of the loaded host specimens,a multi-instrumentation composed of external Nondestructive Testing techniques was implemented on the surfaces of the specimens to search for multi-physical couplings between these external measurements and the capacitance *** confirmed the non-intrusiveness of the embedded transducers,and allowed estimating their working *** capacitance signal follows well the mechanical loadings,but the piezoceramic transducer gets damaged after a determined relatively low strain level due to its *** limits of this working domain are extended by using a stretchable PolyVinylidene Fluoride(PVDF)polymer transducer,allowing this one to perform in-situ and real-time SHM of its host tensile specimens until failure.

The potential impacts of climate change on the Great Hungarian Plain based on two regional climate models,REMO and ALADIN,were analyzed using indicators for environmental *** the climate parameters(temperature,precipitation,and wind)will change in the two investigated periods(2021–2050 and 2071–2100),their influences on drought,wind erosion,and inland excess water hazards are modeled by simple predictive *** hazards on arable lands will increasingly affect the productivity of agriculture compared to the reference period(1961–1990).The models predict an increase between 12.3%(REMO)and 20%(ALADIN)in the first period,and between 35.6%(REMO)and 45.2%(ALADIN)in the second *** increase of wind erosion hazards is not as obvious(+15%for the first period in the REMO model).Inland excess water hazards are expected to be slightly reduced(-4 to 0%)by both model predictions in the two periods without showing a clear tendency on *** three indicators together give a first regional picture of potential hazards of climate *** predictive model and data combinations of the regional climate change models and the hazard assessment models provide insights into regional and subregional impacts of climate change and will be useful in planning and land management activities.

Proton exchange membrane fuel cells(PEMFcs)are becoming a major part of a greener and more sustainable ***,the costs of high-purity hydrogen and noble metal catalysts alongside the complexity of the PEMFc system severely hamper their *** PEMFcs at high temperatures(HT-PEMFcs,above 120℃)brings several advantages,such as increased tolerance to contaminants,more affordable catalysts,and operations without liquid water,hence considerably simplifying the *** recent progresses in proton exchange mem-branes for HT-PEMFcs have made this technology more viable,the HT-PEMFc viscous acid electrolyte lowers the active site utilization by unevenly diffusing into the catalyst layer while it acutely poisons the catalytic *** recent years,the synthesis of platinum group metal(PGM)and PGM-free catalysts with higher acid tolerance and phosphate-promoted oxygen reduction reaction,in conjunction with the design of catalyst layers with improved acid distribution and more triple-phase boundaries,has provided great opportunities for more efficient *** progress in these two interconnected fields is reviewed here,with recommendations for the most promising routes worthy of further *** these approaches,the performance and durability of HT-PEMFcs will be significantly improved.

china lies at the heart of the global center of freshwater crab diversity in tropical Asia,where the 2 most diverse families occur:Potamidae(505 species,95 genera)and Gecarcinucidae(344 species,59 genera).china stands out as the country with the highest species richness of freshwater crabs *** fauna comprises 243 species in 37 genera and in 2 families,and species discovery is still progressing at a rapid *** vast majority of the species are distributed in southwest,south central and eastern china in the Oriental zoogeographical *** also stands out as having a highly endemic freshwater crab fauna at the species level(96%)and at the genus level(78%).Although the recent International Union for the conservation of Nature(IUcN)red list conservation assessment found only 6 out of 228 species(2%)to be threatened(5 potamids and 1 gecarcinucid),the majority(more than 75%)of chinese species are regarded as data deficient,so the number of threatened species is likely to be a serious *** from increasing habitat destruction and pollution are a major concern due to the rapidly growing economy and massive developments taking place in *** is therefore an urgent need for increased species exploration and for the development of a conservation strategy for china’s threatened(and potentially threatened)endemic freshwater crab species.

The oxidative pentose-phosphate pathway （OPPP） represents a central branch of cellular metabolism emanating from glucose-6-phosphate （G6P） to provide reductive power （NADPH） and sugar phosphates for anabolic biosyntheses. In plant cells, the oxidative OPPP branch is found in the cytosol and in plastids, consisting of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase （G6PD）, 6-phosphogluconolactonase （PGL）, and 6-phosphogluconate dehydrogenase （6PGD）. These enzymes are encoded by small gene families in the nuclear genome, which, in Arabidopsis, comprise six G6PD, five 6-PGL, and three 6-PGD isoforms （Kruger and von Schaewen, 2003）. Specific targeting motifs at the c-terminus of 6-PGL and 6-PGD isoforms suggested that the OPPP may also occur in peroxisomes （Reumann et al., 2004）.
