Previous studies have shown that high-frequency(HF)waves,low-frequency(LF)waves and wave set-up coexist on shallow coral reef-flat and jointly contribute to potential floods and subsequent damages of infrastructures and islands on it.To better understand the reef-flat wave dynamics with incident waves and still water level,a wave-flume experiment was performed based on an idealized platform reef composed of a steep reef-face(1:4),a relatively mild reef-rim(1:14)and a horizontal reef-flat.Also,the non-hydrostatic phase-resolving model SWASH was validated against the experiment and then applied to further numerically investigate the effects of reef-rim topographic features on the reef-flat wave motions.The results show that incident waves of a larger wave height and a longer wave period can generate larger LF waves and wave set-up,thereby inducing greater HF waves on the reef-flat.Higher still water level can lead to larger HF waves but result in smaller wave set-up.In contrast to HF waves and wave set-up,LF waves are minimally affected by the still water level.A rim of milder slope and larger edge depth will induce smaller HF and LF waves and set-up on the reef-flat,and thus provide better protection for the reef-flat region.Furthermore,on the reef-flat,the ratio of HF significant wave height to water depth H_(s_h)/(h_(r)+η^(-))is approximately constant;the dimensionless LF significant wave height Hs_l/H_(s0) and the dimensionless wave set-upη^(-)/[T_(p)(gH_(s0))1/2]can be related to the inverse wave steepness parameter gT_(p)^(2)/H_(s0) and the relative reef-flat submergence(h_(r)+η^(-))/H_(s0) respectively.

目的基于丝裂原活化蛋白激酶(MAPK)信号通路,探究马来酸依那普利片对阿霉素导致的心力衰竭大鼠的治疗作用及其机制。方法从40只雄性SD大鼠中随机选取11只作为正常组(等量0.9%NaCl),剩余29只用腹腔注射3 mg·kg^(-1)·w^(-1)阿霉素制备心力衰竭模型。造模成功后随机分为模型组15只和实验组14只。实验组灌胃给予1.8 mg·kg^(-1)·d^(-1)马来酸依那普利混悬液;正常组和模型组均灌胃给予等量0.9%NaCl。8周后,对各组大鼠行心脏彩超,记录各组左心室射血分数(LVEF),用酶联免疫吸附试验法检测血清心肌损伤指标水平,用实时荧光定量聚合酶链反应法和蛋白质印迹法检测MAPK信号通路相关mRNA和蛋白的表达水平。结果正常组、模型组和实验组的LVEF值分别为(77.85±3.34)%、(41.39±2.87)%和(60.10±6.53)%,血清脑钠肽含量分别为(219.30±10.59)、(333.90±61.19)和(260.00±16.10)pg·mL^(-1),Mapk8ip2相对表达水平分别为1.00±0.01、2.60±0.12和2.00±0.08,Mapk8ip3相对表达水平分别为1.00±0.00、6.77±1.04和3.66±0.54,Mapk1相对表达水平分别为1.00±0.00、4.40±0.14和2.71±0.24,Mapk3相对表达水平分别为1.00±0.01、7.83±0.34和2.71±0.24,P38-MAPK蛋白相对表达水平分别为1.00±0.05、1.14±0.02和1.02±0.03,细胞外调节蛋白激酶1/2蛋白相对表达水平分别为1.00±0.07、1.49±0.03和1.16±0.10,c-jun氨基末端激酶1/2蛋白相对表达水平分别为1.00±0.03、1.65±0.19和1.14±0.01;模型组的上述指标与实验组和正常组比较,在统计学上差异均有统计学意义(均P<0.01)。结论马来酸依那普利片对心力衰竭大鼠有治疗作用,其机制可能是通过调控MAPK信号通路来实现的。

Background The role of renal artery sympathetic nerve ablation,widely known as renal sympathetic denervation(RDN)in the treatment of resistant hypertension(RH)has been clarified,and there is more and more evidence to support its effect in the treatment of heart failure,ventricular hypertrophy and arteriosclerosis.Some studies also reported its role in treatment related to respiratory system(pulmonary hypertension,sleep apnea syndrome),endocrine system(metabolic syndrome,blood lipid metabolism,polycystic ovary syndrome),kidney disease(acute renal injury,renal failure)and other inflammation,remodeling,pain and so on.Though most of them were subgroup analysis and small-sample studies,even case reports,they had shed some light on possible use of RDN in the treatment of multi-system diseases.[S Chin J Cardiol 2024;25(1):57-66].

目的探讨丹酚酸B对人脐带间充质干细胞(HUCMSCs)抗氧化应激能力的影响,提高间充质干细胞的临床应用效率。方法取第5代HUMSCs用于实验,分为对照组、模型组和低、中、高剂量实验组。对照组正常培养,模型组加入800μmol·L^(-1)过氧化氢(H_(2)O_(2))作用2 h,低、中、高剂量实验组使用5、10和20μg·mL^(-1)丹酚酸B分别预处理HUCMSCs 24 h后,加入800μmol·L^(-1)H_(2)O_(2)作用2 h。用试剂盒检测各组细胞上清液中谷胱甘肽(GSH)、超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)、丙二醛(MDA)水平,用实时荧光定量逆转录聚合酶链反应检测凋亡相关基因胱天蛋白酶(Caspase)1、B淋巴细胞瘤-2(Bcl-2)表达。结果加入800μmol·L^(-1)H_(2)O_(2)作用2 h后,对照组、模型组和高剂量实验组的上清液MDA水平分别为(3.27±0.41)、(6.50±0.21)和(4.79±0.40)nmol·mL^(-1),上清液GSH水平分别为(35.43±0.72)、(20.13±0.58)和(32.30±3.87)μmoL·L^(-1),上清液SOD水平分别为(5.34±0.18)、(3.34±0.20)和(5.09±0.15)U·mL^(-1),Caspase1 mRNA相对表达水平分别为1.02±0.21、2.78±0.26和2.37±0.32,Bcl-2 mRNA相对表达水平分别为1.01±0.12、0.43±0.03和0.60±0.17。模型组的上述指标与对照组比较,在统计学上差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05,P<0.01);高剂量实验组的上述指标与模型组比较,在统计学上差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05,P<0.01)。结论丹酚酸B可降低氧化应激所导致的凋亡,增强HUCMSCs抗氧化应激能力。

麝香保心丸对缺血再灌注大鼠心肌损伤及细胞自噬的调节作用

目的观察麝香保心丸(Shexiang baoxin pill,SBP)对缺血/再灌注损伤(Ischemia/reperfusion injury,I/R)大鼠心肌组织的保护作用及与自噬的调节关系。方法采用左冠状动脉前降支缺血再灌注建立I/R模型。将Sprague-Dawley(SD)大鼠30只按随机数字表法分为对照组、模型组及SBP组,每组各10只。通过心脏超声多普勒检测大鼠不同时期左心室射血分数(Left ventricular ejection fraction,LVEF)、左室缩短分数(Fractional shortening,FS)、左室舒张末期内径(Left ventricular end diastolic diameter,LVIDd)和左心室收缩期内径(Left ventricular end systolic dimension,LVIDs)的变化,HE染色观察心肌组织病理改变,TUNEL染色检测细胞凋亡情况,采用qRT-PCR方法检测白细胞介素-1β(Interleukin-1β,IL-1β)、白细胞介素-6(Interleukin-6,IL-6)、肿瘤坏死因子-α(Tumor necrosis factor-α,TNF-α)和自噬相关基因(Autophagy-related genes,ATG)、BCL-2关联X蛋白(BCL-2 associated X protein,Bax)和B淋巴细胞瘤-2基因(B-cell lymphoma-2,Bcl-2)的表达水平。采用Western blot检测自噬特异性基因(Beclin-1)、泛素结合蛋白p62(p62)和微管相关蛋白质1轻链3(Microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain 3,LC3)的表达水平。结果与对照组比较,心肌缺血/再灌注损伤后,各组大鼠心脏LVEF、FS均下降,LVIDd、LVIDs均增大。术后随访发现SBP组大鼠心脏功能指标较模型组明显改善。HE染色见SBP减轻I/R大鼠心肌细胞水肿紊乱情况。TUNEL染色显示,与对照组比较,模型组心肌组织显示凋亡细胞增多,而经SBP处理的大鼠心肌组织中凋亡细胞减少,说明SBP可以减轻I/R导致的细胞损伤。通过qRT-PCR检测发现,与对照组比较,模型组大鼠ATG12表达水平明显上调。而SBP组大鼠在1个月随访时发现ATG12表达水平较模型组降低。说明SBP抑制I/R诱导的ATG12 mRNA表达上调。与对照组比较,模型组Bax表达增加,Bcl-2表达降低。与模型组比较,SBP处理后大鼠心肌组织中Bax表达降低,Bcl-2表达升高。表明SBP可以下调促凋亡蛋白,上调抗凋亡基因。与对照组比较,模型组Beclin-1、p62及LC3-II/LC3-I水平均明显升高。与模型组比较,SBP下调了心肌中Beclin-1、p62和LC3-II/LC3-I蛋白的表达水平。结论心肌缺血再灌注可增强自噬反应,促进细胞凋亡。麝香保心丸可能通过调节ATG12从而抑制自噬,对受损心肌发挥保护作用,改善心肌细胞凋亡。

A Novel Design of a Pre-separation Panel Structure to Protect Against the Impact of an Explosion in an Aircraft Plenum Chamber

To reduce the damage of the pressurizing panel structure of a fuselage caused by an explosion at the“least risk bomb location”in an aircraft structure,a new pre-separation panel structure was designed to resist blast loading.First,the dynamic strain response and morphology of impact damage of the new pre-separation panel were measured in an impact damage test.Second,the commercial software LS-DYNA was used to calculate the propagation of the blast shock wave,and the results were compared with empirical equations to verify the rationality of the numerical calculation method.Finally,the fluid–structure coupling method was used to calculate the damage process of the pre-separation panel structure under the impact of an explosion wave and an impact block.The calculated results were in good agreement with the test results,which showed the rationality of the calculation method and the model.The residual strength of the damaged pre-separation panel was significantly higher than that of the original damaged panel.The results show that the new pre-separation panel structure is reasonable and has certain significance for guiding the design of plenum chambers with strong resistance to implosion for aircraft fuselages.

Simulation study on cuttings transport of the backreaming operation for long horizontal section wells

The backreaming operation plays a significant role in safe drilling for horizontal wellbores, while it may cause severe stuck pipe accidents. To lower the risk of the stuck pipe in backreaming operations, the mechanism of cuttings transport needs to be carefully investigated. In this research, a transient cuttings transport with multiple flow patterns model is developed to predict the evolution of cuttings transported in the annulus while backreaming. The established model can provide predictions of the distribution of cuttings bed along the wellbore considering the bulldozer effect caused by large-size drilling tools(LSDTs). The sensitivity analyses of the size of LSDTs, and backreaming operating parameters are conducted in Section 4. And a new theory is proposed to explain the mechanism of cuttings transport in the backreaming operation, in which both the bit and LSDTs have the “cleaning effect” and “plugging effect”.The results demonstrate that the cuttings bed in annuli is in a state of dynamic equilibrium, but the overall trend and the distribution pattern are obvious. First, larger diameters and longer drilling tools could lead to a higher risk of the stuck pipe. Second, we find that it is not the case that the higher flow rate is always better for hole cleaning, so three flow-rate intervals are discussed separately under the given conditions. When the “dangerous flow rate”(35 L/s in Case 4),the higher the flow rate, the better the cleaning effect of cuttings beds. Third, an interval of tripping velocity called “dangerous velocity” is proposed, in which the cuttings bed accumulation near the LSDTs is more serious than those of other tripping velocities. A novel small-signal equivalent circuit model for GaN HEMTs incorporating a dual-field-plate

An accurate and novel small-signal equivalent circuit model for GaN high-electron-mobility transistors(HEMTs)is proposed,which considers a dual-field-plate(FP)made up of a gate-FP and a source-FP.The equivalent circuit of the overall model is composed of parasitic elements,intrinsic transistors,gate-FP,and source-FP networks.The equivalent circuit of the gate-FP is identical to that of the intrinsic transistor.In order to simplify the complexity of the model,a series combination of a resistor and a capacitor is employed to represent the source-FP.The analytical extraction procedure of the model parameters is presented based on the proposed equivalent circuit.The verification is carried out on a 4×250μm GaN HEMT device with a gate-FP and a source-FP in a 0.45μm technology.Compared with the classic model,the proposed novel small-signal model shows closer agreement with measured S-parameters in the range of 1.0 to 18.0 GHz.

Jaffe-Campanacci syndrome resulted in amputation: A case report

BACKGROUND Jaffe-Campanacci syndrome(JCS)is a very rare syndrome.The treatment of JCS is more conservative,and most authors recommend that no surgery should be done in asymptomatic patients.The conventional concept holds that the natural course of non-ossifying fibromas(NOFs)grows with the development of bones,and the osteolytic region gradually stops expanding and self-healing through bone ossifying around the lesion and ossification within the lesion.But in this case,the bone lesions were potentially biologically aggressive,which led to severe limb deformities and pain.CASE SUMMARY We present the case of a 5-year-old girl with JCS presenting with not only NOF sand café-au-lait macules,but also showed features not mentioned before,severe limb pain,and at last resulted in amputation.She was admitted to our hospital after presenting with claudication and mild pain over her right thigh,which worsened when stretching or being touched.Skin examination revealed multiple café-au-lait macules on the neck,arm,axilla,and torso,including the nipples and perineum.Radiographs revealed multiple lytic lesions in the proximal part of the right humerus,distal part of the right clavicle,proximal and distal parts of the right femur,and proximal parts of the right tibia and fibula.Curettage and biopsy were performed on the distal part of the right femur.At the age of 7,the girl was re-admitted to our hospital for a pathological fracture in the middle in the right femur and underwent Intralesional excision,internal fixation,bone grafting,and spica casting.At the age of 10,the girl came to our hospital again for severe pain of the right leg.Amputation from the middle level of the right femur was performed.We present the case of a 5-year-old girl with JCS presenting with not only NOFs and café-au-lait macules,but also showed features not mentioned before,severe limb pain,and at last resulted in amputation.She was admitted to our hospital after presenting with claudication and mild pain over her right thigh,which worsened when stretchi

Parkinson’s disease(PD)is a complicated neurodegenerative disease,characterized by the accumulation ofα-synuclein(α-syn)in Lewy bodies and neurites,and massive loss of midbrain dopamine neurons.Increasing evidence suggests that gut microbiota and microbial metabolites are involved in the development of PD.Among these,short-chain fatty acids(SCFAs),the most abundant microbial metabolites,have been proven to play a key role in brain-gut communication.In this review,we analyze the role of SCFAs in the pathology of PD from multiple dimensions and summarize the alterations of SCFAs in PD patients as well as their correlation with motor and non-motor symptoms.Future research should focus on further elucidating the role of SCFAs in neuroinflammation,as well as developing novel strategies employing SCFAs and their derivatives to treat PD.
