Pri-EMO:A universal perturbation method for privacy preserving facial emotion recognition

Facial emotion have great significance in human-computer interaction,virtual reality and people's *** methods for facial emotion privacy mainly concentrate on the perturbation of facial emotion ***,cryptography-based perturbation algorithms are highly computationally expensive,and transformation-based perturbation algorithms only target specific recognition *** this paper,we propose a universal feature vector-based privacy-preserving perturbation algorithm for facial *** method implements privacy-preserving facial emotion images on the feature space by computing tiny perturbations and adding them to the original *** addition,the proposed algorithm can also enable expression images to be recognized as specific *** show that the protection success rate of our method is above 95%and the image quality evaluation degrades no more than *** quantitative and qualitative results show that our proposed method has a balance between privacy and usability.

Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2),has spread rapidly around the world,posing a major threat to human health and the ***,long-term data on viral shedding and the serum antibody responses in COVID-19 patients are still ***,we report the clinical features,viral RNA loads,and serum antibody levels in a cohort of 112 COVID-19 patients admitted to the Honghu People’s Hospital,Hubei Province,***,5.36%(6/112)of patients showed persistent viral RNA shedding(>45 days).The peak viral load was higher in the severe disease group than in the mild group(median cycle threshold value,36.4 versus 31.5;P=0.002).For most patients the disappearance of IgM antibodies occurred approximately 4–6 weeks after symptoms onset,while IgG persisted for over 194 days after the onset of symptoms,although patients showed a 46%reduction in antibodies titres against SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid protein compared with the acute *** also studied18 asymptomatic individuals with RT-qPCR confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infection together with 17 symptomatic patients,and the asymptomatic individuals were the close contacts of these symptomatic *** IgG seroconversion and lower IgM seropositive rates were observed in asymptomatic *** data indicate that higher viral loads and stronger antibody responses are related to more severe disease status in patients with SARS-CoV-2 infection,and the antibodies persisted in the recovered patient for more than 6 months so that the vaccine may provide protection against SARS-CoV-2 infection.

Background and Aims:The World Health Organization(WHO)Western Pacific Region set a target of eliminating mother-to-child transmission(MTCT)of hepatitis B virus(HBV)by *** assess the feasibility of this target in China,we carried out an epidemiological study to investigate the status quo of MTCT in the real-world ***:One thousand and eight hepatitis B surface antigen-positive preg-nant women were enrolled at 10 ***-laxis was administered to *** addition,mothers with HBV DNA level>2,000,000 IU/mL were advised to initiate antiviral therapy during late pregnancy.A health application called SHIELD was used to manage the ***:Nine hundred and five of the enrolled mothers,with 924 infants,completed the ***-dose hepatitis B vaccine and hepatitis B immunoglobulin were received by 99.7%and 99.7%of infants,respectively,within 24 h after *** ;were 446 mothers who received antiviral therapy,including 72.3%of the mothers with HBV DNA level>2,000,000 IU/mL and 21.0%of the mothers with HBV DNA level<2,000,000 IU/*** infants were infected with *** overall rate of MTCT was 0.9%.Birth defects were rare(0.5%among in-fants with maternal antiviral exposure versus 0.7%among infants without exposure;p=1.00).Conclusions:The MTCT rate was lower than the WHO Western Pacific Region elimina-tion MTCT target in this real-world study,indicating that a comprehensive management composed of immunoprophy-laxis to infants and antiviral prophylaxis to mothers may be a feasible strategy to achieve the 2030 WHO elimination goal.

Clinical value of optimized magnetic resonance imaging for evaluation of patients with painful hip arthroplasty

Background The imaging evaluation of pain in patients who have had a hip arthroplasty （HA） is challenging,and traditional imaging techniques,including magnetic resonance imaging （MRI） and computerized tomography （CT）,are limited by metallic *** purpose of the present study was to investigate the use of modified MRI techniques to visualize periprosthetic soft tissues and the bone-implant interface,and to evaluate the value of MRI for the assessment of patients with painful hip *** Fifty-six painful hips in fifty-six patients following primary HA were assessed using optimized MRI,CT and standardized *** diagnosis of MRI was correlated with intraoperative findings as well as with microbiological and histological examinations （when available）.The sensitivity and the specificity of MRI diagnosis were determined according to final *** chi-square test was performed to detect a difference between MRI and final *** Forty-eight patients have received revision surgery and final diagnosis were *** was demonstrated high sensitivity and specificity in detecting aseptic loosening （93％ and 95％）,periprosthetic infection （94％ and 97％）,adverse local tissue reaction （100％ and 100％） and periprosthetic fracture （100％ and 100％）.MRI was determined to be the most sensitive technique in detecting implant loosening for any reason,with a sensitivity of 93.8％ for acetabular shell and 97.1％ for femoral stem,compared to 81.3％ and 80.0％ on CT,75.0％ and 77.1％ on *** Optimized MRI was effective for the assessment of the periprosthetic soft tissues and *** use of modified magnetic resonance imaging parameters provided a useful adjunct to conventional examinations for the evaluation of patients with painful hip arthroplasty.

An improved deep reinforcement learning（DRL） method is proposed to solve autonomous landing problem of quadrotor. Autonomous landing is a significant function for unmanned aerial vehicle（UAV） such as quadrotor. Previous solutions are mainly based on relative position calculation or the landmark detection, which either needs massive additional sensors or lacks intelligence. In this paper, we focus on realizing autonomous landing through DRL method. Whole landing process is implemented by an improved deep Q-learning network（DQN） based end-to-end control scheme. Only one down-looking camera is used to capture raw images directly as input states. An Aruco tag is placed at the landing region for feature extraction. Double network and the dueling architecture are applied to improve DQN algorithm. Besides, the reward function is well designed to fit the auto-landing scenario. The experiments show that the improved DQN can make the quadrotor land on the landmark successfully and achieve better performance while comparing to the original deep Q-learning solution.

To evaluate the role of glucose transporter- l (GLUT1) in the glucose uptake of glomerular mesangial cells. Methods. Cultured C57/SJL mouse mesangial cells were used in the study. The expression of GLUT1 mRNA was detected by RT- PCR. The expression of GLUT1 protein was detected by immunofluorescence and flow cytometry. The uptake of glucose and its kinetics were determined by 2- deoxy- [3H]- D- glucose uptake. Results. Both GLUT1 mRNA and protein were found in mouse glomerular mesangial cells. 2- deoxy- D- glucose uptake and kinetics assay showed that this glucose transporter had high affinity for glucose and the glucose uptake specificity was further confirmed by phloretin. Conclusion. Functional GLUT1 did present in mouse mesangial cells cultured in vitro and it might be the predominant transporter mediated the uptake of glucose into mesangial cells.
