Impact of gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist and hormone replacement therapy on pregnancy outcomes in single euploid frozen-thawed embryo transfer for patients with endometrial polyps

Objective: Although consensus on the optimal endometrial preparation protocol for frozen-thawed embryo transfer (FET) is lacking, this is particularly true for patients with infertility and a history of endometrial polyps (EPs). In this study, we aimed to investigate whether a gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist combined with hormone replacement therapy (GnRHa-HRT) could improve pregnancy outcomes in single euploid FET for patients with a history of ***: In this retrospective cohort study, 395 women who underwent their first single euploid FET cycle were divided into groups according to endometrial preparation protocols as follows: natural cycle (NC) (n = 220), hormone replacement therapy (HRT) (n = 122), and GnRHa-HRT groups (n = 53). Subsequently, the FET cycles in the three groups were subdivided according to maternal age. All patients underwent hysteroscopic polypectomy before FET, and their EPs were confirmed by ***: No statistically significant differences were observed in live birth rates among the three groups (58.64%vs. 58.20%vs. 56.60%,P = 0.964). Furthermore, the rates of miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, premature live birth, and pregnancy complications were comparable among the three groups (P >0.05). After adjusting for potential confounding factors, no significant differences in pregnancy outcomes were reported between the groups (adjusted odds ratios [OR] and 95% credible intervals [CI] for live birth rate, HRTvs. NC: 1.119, 0.660–1.896,P = 0.677; GnRHa-HRTvs. NC: 1.165, 0.610–2.226,P = 0.643). Additionally, the pregnancy outcomes of the FET cycle were not influenced by the endometrial preparation protocols in the subgroups when stratified by maternal age (P >0.05).Conclusion: GnRHa-HRT did not improve the pregnancy outcomes of the single euploid FET in patients with a history of EPs.

目的本研究旨在探讨结直肠腺瘤的发生发展与血脂及脂蛋白水平的关系,为结直肠癌的预防提供参考。方法本研究回顾性分析了2018年5月至2020年5月于梅州市人民医院确诊的2960例结直肠腺瘤患者和同期3156名非结直肠腺瘤患者的血脂水平及临床资料。采用Logistic回归分析血脂异常与结直肠腺瘤发生的关系。结果与对照组相比,结直肠腺瘤患者血清中总胆固醇(TC)、甘油三酯(TG)、低密度脂蛋白胆固醇(LDL-C)和载脂蛋白B(ApoB)水平显著升高,血脂异常发生率明显上升。Logistic回归分析显示,血清中TC和TG水平与结直肠腺瘤风险呈正相关。结论血清TG和TC水平升高是腺瘤的独立危险因素,并且腺瘤患者血清TG和TC水平升高时,可能更容易发展成高危腺瘤。

Hydrochemical Characteristics and Evolution of Underground Brine in Lop Nur,Northwestern China

Lop Nur is located at the eastmost end of the Tarim Basin in Xinjiang,Northwestern *** study reviews the hydrochemical characteristics and evolution of underground brine in Lop Nur,based on analytical data from 429 water samples(mainly brine).It is found that in the NE-SW direction,from the periphery to the Luobei sub-depression,while the hydrochemical type varies from the sodium sulfate subtype(S)to the magnesium sulfate subtype(M),the corresponding brine in the phase diagram transfers from the thenardite phase(Then)area,through the bloedite phase(Blo),epsomite phase(Eps),picromerite phase(Picro),finally reaching the sylvite phase(Syl)*** for the degree of evolution,the sequence is the peripheryying glauberite brineying clastic brine *** is concluded that the oxygen and hydrogen isotopic compositions of the brine have evidently been affected through the effects of evaporation and altitude,as well as the changes in local water circulation in recent *** and chloride isotopic compositions show that the glauberite brine is formed under more arid conditions than the clastic *** strontium isotopic composition indicates that the Lop Nur brine primarily originates from surface water;however,deep recharge may also be involved in the evolution of the brine,according to previous noble gas *** is confirmed that the brine in Lop Nur has become enriched with potassium prior to halite precipitation over the full course of the salt lake's *** on chemical compositions of brine from drillhole LDK01 and previous lithological studies,the evolution of the salt lake can be divided into three stages and it is inferred that the brine in Lop Nur may have undergone at least two significant concentration-dilution periods.

Proteomics analysis of coronary atherosclerotic heart disease with different Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome types before and after percutaneous coronary intervention

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the underlying protein molecular mechanisms of "Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome"(QS) and "Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome"(QD), as two subtypes of coronary artery disease(CAD) in Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM),following percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).METHODS: In this study, a total of 227 CAD patients with QS and 211 CAD patients with QD were enrolled; all participants underwent PCI. Label-free quantification proteomics were employed to analyze the changes in serum in two subtypes of CAD patients before and 6 months after PCI, aiming to elucidate the intervention mechanism of PCI in treating CAD characterized by two different TCM ***: Biochemical analysis revealed significant changes in tumor necrosis factor-α, high density lipoprotein cholesterol, blood stasis clinical symptoms observation, and Gensini levels in both patient groups post-PCI; Proteomic analysis identified 79 and 95 differentially expressed proteins in the QS and QD patient groups, respectively, compared to their control *** C8 alpha chain, complement factor H,apolipoprotein H, apolipoprotein B, plasminogen,carbonic anhydrase 2, and complement factor Ⅰ were altered in both comparison groups. Furthermore,enrichment analysis demonstrated that cell adhesion and connectivity-related processes underwent changes in QS patients post-PCI, whereas lipid metabolism-related pathways, including the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor signaling pathway and extracellular matrix receptor interaction, underwent changes in the QD *** protein-protein interaction network analysis further enriched 52 node proteins, including apolipoprotein B,lipoprotein(a), complement C5, apolipoprotein A4,complement C8 alpha chain, complement C8 beta chain,complement C8 gamma chain, apolipoprotein H,apolipoprotein A-Ⅱ, albumin, complement C4-B,apolipoprotein C3, among others. P-type Mg_(3)Sb_(2)-based Zintls have attracted considerable interest in the thermoelectric(TE)field due to their environmental friendliness and low ***,compared to their n-type counterparts,they show relatively low TE performance,limiting their application in TE *** this work,we simultaneously introduce Bi alloying at Sb sites and Ag doping at Mg sites into the Mg_(3)Sb_(2)to coopera-tively optimize the electrical and thermal properties for the first time,acquiring the highest ZT value of∼0.85 at 723 K and a high average ZT of 0.39 in the temperature range of 323-723 K in sample Mg_(2.94)Ag_(0.06)Sb_(1.9)Bi_(0.1).The first-principle calculations show that the codoping of Ag and Bi can shift the Fermi level into the valence band and narrow the band gap,resulting in the increased carrier concentration from 3.50×10^(17)cm^(-3)in the reference Mg 3 Sb 0.9 Bi 0.1 to∼7.88×10^(19)cm^(-3)in sample Mg 2.94 Ag 0.06 Sb 0.9 Bi *** a result,a remarkable power factor of∼778.9μW m^(-1)K^(-2)at 723 K is achieved in sample Mg 2.94 Ag 0.06 Sb 0.9 Bi ***,a low lattice thermal conductivity of∼0.48 W m^(-1)K^(-1)at 723 K is also obtained with the help of phonon scattering at the distorted lattice,point defects,and nano-precipitates in sample Mg 2.94 Ag 0.06 Sb 0.9 Bi *** synergistic effect of using the multi-element co-doping/-alloying to optimize electrical properties in Mg_(3)Sb_(2)holds promise for further improving the TE performance of Zintl phase materials or even others.

Oxygen evolution reaction(OER)catalysts are the key core materials that determine the performance of fuel cells,metal-air batteries,electrolytic water decomposition,and other *** this work,a green lignin-based non-precious metal OER catalyst was prepared by a simple ***,c arboxylated lignin was used to complex Ni and Co in situ,and then they were placed with sodium hypophosphite in the same tube furnace for upstream and downstream high-temperature calcination to construct a lignin carbon-based Ni-Co bimetallic OER catalyst(NiCoP@C).The synthesized catalyst is a porous bimetallic phosphide with a three-dimensional network structure and high-density electrochemical active ***@C exhibited favorable catalytic activity for the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)with overpotential of 280 mV at 10 mA·cm~(-2)and a Tafel slope of 77 mV·dec~(-1).Additionally,it exhibited remarkable durability during *** functional theory(DFT)calculations revealed that by leveraging the distinctive structure of transition metal phosphide nanoparticles incorporated into a reticulated substrate,the NiCoP@C catalyst offered an increased number of active sites for OER catalysis,significantly enhancing its stability during practical *** present study broadens the utilization pathways of biomass to"turn waste into treasure,"aligning the development concept of green sustainable development.

Stimuli-responsive luminescent materials have attracted significant attention in the development of smart photoactive materials for both fundamental research and technological *** this work,a new copper iodide cluster(1)with aggregationinduced emission(AIE)characteristic,was obtained combining Cu_(4)I_(4) core with rhodamine B derivative ligand.1 has reversible and distinct multi-stimuli-responsive luminescence for external temperature,volatile organic compound,and mechanical ***,1 exhibited unusual large blue shift(84 nm)after being ground,which originated from the change of intermolecular ***,1 exhibits high oxygen quenching efficiency for 82.2% at 1 *** studies showed that the multi-stimuli-responsive luminescence properties of 1 can be attributed to the regulation of cluster-centered luminescence process,metal-to-ligand charge transfer process,halide-to-metal charge transfer luminescence process and aggregationinduced barrier to oxygen *** work not only reports an AIE copper iodide cluster,but also provides a new strategy to develop multi-stimuli-responsive luminescence materials.
