Rapid and accurate determination of compressor characteristic maps is essential for the initial design of centrifugal compressors in aircraft power systems. The accuracy of existing methodologies, which rely on combinations of loss models, varies significantly depending on the compressor's geometry and operational range. This variance necessitates substantial experimental or Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD) data for coefficient calibration. To address this challenge, this study presents an axisymmetric characteristic model for compressor performance assessment. This model incorporates the factors of blade angle, meridional passage area, and the radial deflection angle of meridional streamlines of the compressor. These factors are derived from fundamental aerodynamic equations encompassing mass, momentum, and energy conservation of the compressor. In contrast to conventional one-dimensional approaches, the proposed method reduces the number of loss coefficients and more effectively accounts for the impact of geometric alterations on centrifugal compressor properties. Furthermore, the model reduces dependence on experimental and CFD data. Efficacy of the model is validated using experimental data from four distinct types of centrifugal compressors. Correlation analysis reveals that the model's coefficients can be expressed as functions of the ratio of the Reynolds number to the impeller tip speed. This ratio serves as a characteristic parameter for the design and optimization of centrifugal compressors. Consequently, the proposed method offers an efficient and accurate means for the quick computation of centrifugal compressor characteristics. This is of great significance for improving the efficiency of centrifugal compressors and reducing energy consumption.

Introduction:This study investigated the lagged correlation between Baidu Index for influenza-related keywords and influenza-like illness percentage(ILI%)across regions in *** aim is to establish a scientific foundation for utilizing Baidu Index as an early warning tool for influenza-like illness ***:In this study,data on ILI%and Baidu Index were collected from 30 provincial-level administrative divisions(PLADs)spanning April 2014 to March *** Baidu Index was categorized into Overall Index,Ordinary Index,Prevention Index,Symptom Index,and Treatment Index based on search query *** lagged correlation between the Baidu Index and ILI%was examined through the cross-correlation function(CCF)***:Correlating the Baidu Overall Index of 30 PLADs with ILI%revealed CCF values ranging from 0.46 to 0.86,with a median lag of 0.5 *** analysis indicated that the Prevention Index and Symptom Index exhibited quicker responses to ILI%,with median lags of−9 and−0.5 days,respectively,compared to 0 and 3 days for the Ordinary and Treatment *** median lag days between the Baidu Index and the ILI%were earlier in the northern PLADs compared to the southern ***:The Prevention and Symptom Indexes show promising predictive capabilities for influenzalike illness epidemics.

Introduction:Respiratory infectious diseases,such as influenza and coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),present significant global public health *** emergence of artificial intelligence(AI)and big data offers opportunities to improve traditional disease surveillance and early warning ***:The study analyzed data from January 2020 to May 2023,comprising influenza-like illness(ILI)statistics,Baidu index,and clinical data from *** methodologies were evaluated:the adaptive dynamic threshold method(ADTM)for dynamic threshold adjustments,the machine learning supervised method(MLSM),and the machine learning unsupervised method(MLUM)utilizing anomaly *** comparison focused on sensitivity,specificity,timeliness,and warning ***:ADTM issued 37 warnings with a sensitivity of 71%and a specificity of 85%.MLSM generated 35 warnings,with a sensitivity of 82%and a specificity of 87%.MLUM produced 63 warnings with a sensitivity of 100%and specificity of 80%.The initial warnings from ADTM and MLUM preceded those from MLSM by five *** Kappa coefficient indicated moderate agreement between the methods,with values ranging from 0.52 to 0.62(Phance public health preparedness and response,alongside acknowledging limitations and the need for broader validation.

Salmonella grows better under aerobic conditions as a facultative anaerobic foodborne pathogenic bacteria. The oxygen-scavenging activity of Lactococcus lactis in the intestinal tract is a promising strategy for preventing Salmonella infection. In this study， the aerobic respiration requirement and preventive mechanism of Lactococcus lactis subsp. lactis (L. lactis) KLDS 4.0325 in murine models infected by Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica serovar Typhimurium (S. Typhimurium) SL1344 were investigated. Results indicate that L. lactis KLDS 4.0325 is capable of aerobic respiratory metabolism in the host intestine when exogenous heme exists， and decrease intestinal oxygen concentration， which in turn trigger autophagy of intestinal cells to reduce S. Typhimurium load， improve gut microbiota composition， alleviate intestinal barrier injury and inflammation response. These results suggest that aerobic respiration L. lactis KLDS 4.0325 can prevent S. Typhimurium infection in a new way in which by restoring intestinal cell hypoxia， maintaining immune balance and regulating intestinal flora.

Identifying the real fracture of rock hidden in acoustic emission(AE)source clusters(AE-depicted microcrack zone)remains challenging and *** we revealed the AE energy(representing dissipated energy)distribution rule in the rock microcrack zone and proposed an AE-energy-based method for identifying the real fracture.(1)A set of fracture experiments were performed on granite using wedgeloading,and the fracture process was detected and recorded by *** microcrack zone associated with the energy dissipation was characterized by AE sources and energy distribution,utilizing our selfdeveloped AE analysis program(RockAE).(2)The accumulated AE energy,an index representing energy dissipation,across the AE-depicted microcrack zone followed the normal distribution model(the mean and variance relate to the real fracture path and the microcrack zone width).This result implies that the nucleation and coalescence of massive cracks(i.e.,real fracture generation process)are supposed to follow a normal distribution.(3)Then,we obtained the real fracture extension path by joining the peak positions of the AE energy normal distribution curve at different cross-sections of the microcrack ***,we distinguished between the microcrack zone and the concealed real fracture within *** deviation was validated as slight as 1–3 mm.

The battery management system is employed to monitor the external temperature of the lithium-ion battery in order to detect any potential ***,this outside–in detection method often suffers from a lag and is therefore unable to accurately predict the battery’s real-time ***,an inside–out frequency response approach is used to accurately monitor the battery’s state at various temperatures in real-time and correlate it with the solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)evolution of the graphite *** SEI evolution at temperatures of−15,25,60,and 90℃exhibits certain regular characteristics with temperature *** a temperature of−15℃,the Li^(+)-solvent interaction of lithium-ion slowed down,resulting in a significant reduction in *** 25℃,a LiF-rich inorganic SEI was identified as forming,which facilitated lithium-ion ***,high temperatures would induce decomposition of lithium hexafluorophosphate(LiPF_(6))and lithium-ion *** the extreme temperature of 90℃,the SEI would be organic-rich,and Li_(x)P_(y)F_(z),a decomposition product of lithium salts,was further oxidized to Li_(x)PO_(y)F_(z),which led to a surge in the charge-transfer resistance at SEI(R_(sei))and a reduction in Coulombic efficiency(CE).This changing relationship can be recorded in real time from the inside out by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)*** provides a new theoretical basis for the structural evolution of lithium-ion batteries and the regular characterization of EIS.
