Mantle Source Components and Magmatic Evolution for the Comei Large Igneous Province:Evidence from the Early Cretaceous Niangzhong Mafic Magmatism in Tethyan Himalaya

The Niangzhong diabase dikes,dated at 138.1±0.4 Ma,are located within the outcrop area of the Comei large igneous province(LIP).These diabase samples can be divided into two groups:samples in Group 1 show varying MgO(1.50 wt.%-10.25 wt.%)and TiO_(2)(0.85 wt.%-4.63 wt.%)contents,and enriched initial isotope compositions(^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr(t)=0.7056-0.7112,ε_(Nd)(t)=-0.3-+3.8),with OIB-like REEs and trace elements patterns,resulting from low degree melting of garnet-bearing lherzolite mantle sources;in contrast,samples in Group 2 show limited MgO(4.14 wt.%-7.75 wt.%)and TiO_(2)(0.98 wt.%-1.69 wt.%)contents,and depleted initial isotope compositions(^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr(t)=0.7075-0.7112,ε_(Nd)(t)=+5.5-+6.2),with N-MORB-like REEs and trace elements patterns,resulting from relatively high degree melting of spinel-bearing lherzolite mantle *** with the published representative data about Comei LIP,we summarize that the source components for Comei LIP products include OIB end-member,enriched OIB end-member,and N-MORB end-member,*** modeling suggests that magmas in the Comei LIP evolve in a relatively high oxygen fugacity condition,which influenced their fractionation sequences and led to systematic changes of TiO_(2)contents,Ti/Y and Ti/Ti**** the spatial and temporal distribution of above three end-member samples,deep process of Kerguelen plume during the Comei LIP formation can be interpreted as the interaction among the Kerguelen plume,the overlying lithospheric mantle,and the upwelling *** magmatism of Comei LIP began at~140 Ma and then lasted and peaked at~132 Ma with the progressively lithospheric thinning of eastern Gondwana upon the impact of Kerguelen plume.

Optimized design of the power consumption test of mountain orchard transporters

In order to study the influence rule of various factors on the operating power consumption of the traction orchard transporter and realize the optimal design of the operation power consumption of the transporter,according to the traditional experience and the existing research foundation,the monorail transporter test bench was designed and built on the basis of the whole structure and operation characteristics of the *** the motor frequency,track gradient and load as the investigation factors,and the driving shaft power,shaft power transmission and mechanical efficiency as the evaluation indices,the orthogonal test was conducted,and the range analysis of the influence effect was carried out according to the test *** primary and secondary orders of the influence of various factors were obtained that motor frequency was greater than track gradient and track gradient was greater than *** to the orthogonal test results,the second-order response surface method was used to establish the optimization model of the power consumption of the transporter,and the model was verified on the test *** results showed that the relative error between the model optimization value and the test value based on the response surface power optimization model was less than 10%,which indicated that the power optimization model had satisfactory *** research can provide a reference for the orchard conveyor to choose the parameter combination which can save power consumption and the motor that matches power consumption.

VO_(x)/NaVO_(3) nanocomposite as a novel saturable absorber for passive Q-switching operation

We report VO_(x)/NaVO_(3) nanocomposite as a novel saturable absorber for the first time,to the best of our *** efficient nonlinear absorption coefficient and the modulation depth are determined by the Z-scan *** a saturable absorber,a passively Q-switched Nd-doped bulk laser at 1.34μm is demonstrated,producing the shortest pulse duration of 129 ns at a repetition rate of 274 *** the passively Q-switched Tm:YLF laser with the prepared saturable absorber,the shortest pulse duration was 292 ns with a repetition rate of 155 *** work confirmed the saturable absorption in VO_(x)/NaVO_(3) for possible optical modulation in the near-infrared region.

Gas molecules(such as CH4,CO,H2O,H2S,NH_3)adsorption on the pure and Au-doped WO3(001)surface have been studied by Density functional theory calculations with generalized gradient *** on the the calculation of adsorption energy,we found the most stable adsorption site for gas molecules by comparing the adsorption energies of different gas molecules on the WO3(001)*** have also compared the adsorption energy of five different gas molecules on the WO3(001)surface,our calculation results show that when the five kinds of gases are adsorbed on the pure WO3(001)surface,the order of the surface adsorption energy is CO>H2S>CH4>H2O>*** the results show that NH3 is the most easily adsorbed gas among the other four gases adsorbed on the surface of pure WO3(001)*** also calculated the five different gases on the Au-doped WO3(001)*** order of adsorption energy was found to be different from the previous calculation:CO>CH4>H2S>H2O>*** results provide a new route for the potential applications of Au-doped WO3 in gas molecules adsorption.

Responses of gross primary productivity to different sizes of precipitation events in a temperate grassland ecosystem in Inner Mongolia, China

Changes in the sizes of precipitation events in the context of global climate change may have profound impacts on ecosystem productivity in arid and semiarid grasslands. However, we still have little knowledge about to what extent grassland productivity will respond to an individual precipitation event. In this study, we quantified the duration, the maximum, and the time-integrated amount of the response of daily gross primary productivity (GPP) to an individual precipitation event and their variations with different sizes of precipitation events in a typical temperate steppe in Inner Mongolia, China. Results showed that the duration of GPP-response (τR) and the maximum absolute GPP-response (GPPmax) increased linearly with the sizes of precipitation events (Pes), driving a corresponding increase in time-integrated amount of the GPP-response (GPPtotal) because variations of GPPtotal were largely explained by τR and GPPmax. The relative contributions of these two parameters to GPPtotal were strongly Pes-dependent. The GPPmax contributed more to the variations of GPPtotal when Pes was relatively small (R was the main driver to the variations of GPPtotal when Pes was relatively large. In addition, a threshold size of at least 5 mm of precipitation was required to induce a GPP-response for the temperate steppe in this study. Our work has important implications for the modeling community to obtain an advanced understanding of productivity-response of grassland ecosystems to altered precipitation regimes.

Construction of poly-naphthalocyanine linked by [4]-radialene-like structures on silver surfaces

Cyclic-conjugated linkages between planar-macrocydic molecules contribute to the robustness of the two-dimensional (2D) polymerization and extension of π-interactions. The fabrication of such linkages in 2D polymers remains challenging. Combining scanning tunneling microscope (STM) measurements and density functional theory (DFT) calculations, we demonstrate a linear polymerization of metal-free naphthalocyanine (NPc) molecules with [4]-radialene-like linkages on silver surfaces. Experimentally, by depositing NPc molecules on the Ag(110) surface and subsequent annealing up to 750 K, one-dimensional polymers are constructed along the [\(1\overline 1 0\)] direction. High-resolution STM images show a stem-leaf-like feature. STM simulations based on a linear polymer of NPc molecules linked by four-membered carbon rings, [4]-radialene-like structure, agree well with the experimental observations. DFT calculations reveal that the polymerization process includes detaching two-terminal H atoms of NPc molecules along [\(1\overline 1 0\)] direction, then bonding with a neighboring dehydrogenated NPc molecule by forming a four-membered ring. The dehydrogenation process can be promoted by on-surface impurities such as additional H atoms. Similar polymerizations have been achieved on Ag(111) surfaces in an amorphous way. Moreover, the energy gap of the NPc molecule decreases after linear polymerization, suggesting a red-shift for its optical absorption/scattering spectrum. Our study offers a new route to polymerize conjugated molecules with extended planar π-interactions.

Unmanned aerial vehicle based intelligent triage system in mass-casualty incidents using 5G and artificial intelligence

BACKGROUND:Rapid on-site triage is critical after mass-casualty incidents(MCIs)and other mass injury *** aerial vehicles(UAVs)have been used in MCIs to search and rescue wounded individuals,but they mainly depend on the UAV operator’s *** used UAVs and artificial intelligence(AI)to provide a new technique for the triage of MCIs and more efficient solutions for emergency ***:This was a preliminary experimental *** developed an intelligent triage system based on two AI algorithms,namely OpenPose and *** were recruited to simulate the MCI scene and triage,combined with UAV and Fifth Generation(5G)Mobile Communication Technology real-time transmission technique,to achieve triage in the simulated MCI ***:Seven postures were designed and recognized to achieve brief but meaningful triage in *** volunteers participated in the MCI simulation *** results of simulation scenarios showed that the proposed method was feasible in tasks of triage for ***:The proposed technique may provide an alternative technique for the triage of MCIs and is an innovative method in emergency rescue.
