The limitations of the conventional master-slavesplitting(MSS)method,which is commonly applied to power flow and optimal power flow in integrated transmission and distribution(I-T&D)networks,are first *** that the MSS method suffers from a slow convergence rate or even divergence under some circumstances,a least-squares-based iterative(LSI)method is *** with the MSS method,the LSI method modifies the iterative variables in each iteration by solving a least-squares problem with the information in previous iterations.A practical implementation and a parameter tuning strategy for the LSI method are ***,a LSI-PF method is proposed to solve I-T&D power flow and a LSIheterogeneous decomposition(LSI-HGD)method is proposed to solve optimal power *** experiments demonstrate that the proposed LSI-PF and LSI-HGD methods can achieve the same accuracy as the benchmark ***,these LSI methods,with appropriate settings,significantly enhance the convergence and efficiency of conventional ***,in some cases,where conventional methods diverge,these LSI methods can still converge.

Investigation on microstructure and mechanical properties of Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloys with various Zn/Mg ratios

The effects of Zn/Mg ratios on microstructure and mechanical properties of Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloys aged at 150℃have been investigated by using tensile tests,optical metallography,scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy and atom probe tomography *** increasing Zn/Mg ratios,the ageing process is significantly accelerated and the time to peak ageing is reduced.T’phase predominates in alloys of lower Zn/Mg ratios whileη’phase predominates in alloys with a Zn/Mg ratio over ***-existence of T’phase andη’phase with a large number density is beneficial to the high strength of *** precipitates together with narrow precipitate free zones cause a brittle intergranular fracture.A strength model has been established to predict the co-strengthening effect of T’phase andη’phase in Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloys,including the factors of the grain boundary,solid solution and precipitation.

Green monomers, such as carbon dioxide(CO_(2)), are closely related to our daily life and highly desirable to be transferred to functional polymers with diverse structures and versatile properties because they are abundant, cheap, nontoxic, renewable, and sustainable. However, the polymerizations based on these green monomers are to be further developed. In this work, a facile CO_(2) and alkyne-based one-pot, two-step, fourcomponent tandem polymerization was successfully established. The polymerization of CO_(2), diynes, alkyl dihalides, and primary/secondary amines can proceed under mild reaction conditions and regio-and stereoregular poly(aminoacrylate)s with good solubility and thermal stability were obtained in high yields(up to 95%). Notably, distinctly different stereoregularity of resultant poly(aminoacrylate)s was realized via using primary or secondary amines. Using the former would readily generate polymers with 100% Z-isomers, whereas the latter furnished products with over 95% E-isomers. Through different monomer combination, the polymers with tunable structures and properties were ***, the tetraphenylethene units containing poly(aminoacrylate)s, showing the unique aggregation-induced emission characteristics,could function as a fluorescent probe for sensitive explosive detection. Thus, this work not only develops a facile CO_(2) and alkyne-based multicomponent tandem polymerization but also provides a valuable strategy to fine-tune the polymer structures and properties, which could be potentially applied in diverse areas.

A novel maskless technique, self-driving micro-fluid porous type printing （SMPTP）, was reported to in situ synthesize oligonucleotide arrays on glass slide, which has the merits of low cost, high quality and simple craft. In SMPTP for fabricating gene- chips, porous fiber tubes with a number of nanometric or micron channels functioned as ＂active letters＂ and were assembled in designed patterns, which are identical to the distribution of monomers in each layer of the array, and four patterns were needed for each layer. By means of capillarity, the synthesis solution was automatically taken into porous tubes assembled in a printing plate and reached the surface. An oligonucleotide array of 160 features with four different 15-mer probes was in situ synthesized using this technique. The four specific oligonucleotide probes, including the matched and the mismatched by the fluorescent target sequence, gave obviously different hybridization fluorescent signals.

The cultivar Ganoderma lucidum Hunong 5 was obtained using cross-breeding. Hunong 5 has high commercial value due to its high polysaccharide and triterpene content, This is the first report of using a DNA pooling method to develop a stable sequence characterized amplified region （SCAR） marker for rapid identification of the G. lucidum Hunong 5 cultivar. The SCAR marker was developed by first generating and sequencing a distinctive inter simple sequence repeat （ISSR） fragment （882 bp） from G. lucidum Hunong 5 cultivar. A stable SCAR primer pair GLH5F/GLH5R were obtained to identify the cultivar and the SCAR marker is a DNA fragment of 773 bp.

Objective To investigate the potential role of nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain 1 （NOD1）, a component of the innate immune system, in mediating lipid-induced insulin resistance in adipocytes. Methods Adipocytes from Toll-like receptor 4 deficiency mice were used for stimulation experiments. The effect of oleate/palmitate mixture on nuclear factor-κB （NF-κB） activation was analyzed by reporter plasmid assay. The release of proinflammatory chemokine/cytokines production was determined by using real-time PCR. Insulin-stimulated glucose uptake was measured by 2-deoxy-D-[SH] glucose uptake assay. Chemokine/cytokine expression and glucose uptake in adipocytes transfected with small interfering RNA （siRNA） targeting NOD 1 upon fatty acids treatment were analyzed. Results Oleate/palmitate mixture activated the NF-κB pathway and induced interleukin-6, tumor necrosis factor-R, and monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 mRNA expressions in adipocytes from mice deficient in Toll-like receptor 4, and these effects were blocked by siRNA targeting NOD1. Furthermore, saturated fatty acids decreased the ability of insulin-stimulated glucose uptake. Importantly, siRNA targeting NOD 1 partially reversed saturated fatty acid-induced suppression of insulin-induced glucose uptake. Conclusion NOD1 might play an important role in saturated fatty acid-induced insulin resistance in adipocytes, suggesting a mechanism by which reduced NOD1 activity confers beneficial effects on insulin action.

The hydrogeological condition affects the coal-bed gas storage dramatically. In an area of stronger hydrodynamics, the coal has a lower gas content, while a higher gas content exists in an area of weaker hydrodynamics. Obviously, the flowing groundwater is harmful to coalbed gas preservation. But few researches focus on the mechanism of how the flowing water diminishes the coalbed gas content Based on the phenomenon that the flowing groundwater not only makes coalbed gas content lower, but also fractionates the carbon isotope, this research puts forward an idea that it is the water solution that diminishes the coalbed gas content, rather than the water-driven action or the gas dissipation through cap rocks. Only water-soluble action can both fractionate the carbon isotope and lessen the coalbed gas content, and it is an efficient way to take gas away and affect the gas content.

Jellyfish blooms occur worldwide and have resulted in serious problems in tourism,fisheries,coastal industries,and the marine *** life cycle of scyphozoan jellyfish consists of a pelagic medusa stage and a benthic polyp *** of asexual reproduction of the polyps determines directly the number of medusae;thus,the polyp stage is the key to understanding the population dynamics of *** nomurai,Aurelia coerulea,and Rhopilema esculentum are three scyphozoan jellyfish commonly inhabit in Chinese coastal *** of *** are easily visible,while those of *** and *** remain yet to be found in the ***,distribution of the medusa indicates that the polyps of all three species may occur *** evaluate the distribution pattern of polyps of the three species and explore intraguild predation by the polyps,we conducted a laboratory experiment that considered the attachment sequence and size relationship of calyx diameter of the *** found that the polyps of *** preyed on polyps of the other two species in all treatments,except when polyps of *** were bigger than those of *** polyps of *** preyed on the polyps of *** only when polyps of *** attached first and were bigger than those of *** of *** polyps were rarely found in the places inhabited by *** *** addition,*** polyps are known to inhabit at depths of less than 20 m in coastal sea,thus,we speculate that *** polyp colonies might occur at depths of more than 20 ***,our finding that polyps of *** aggressively preyed on polyps of other species may help understand other such systems of jellyfish bloom in the world.
