The preparation and performance characterization of〈50 nm spirobenzopyran-based photochromic nanocomposites with photoswitchable fluorescence are *** nanocomposites were fabricated by means of a modifed miniemulsion polymerization process,in which the hydrophobic spirobenzopyran was covalently attached to the polymer chains and the matched fluorescent dyes were noncovalently embedded in the nanoscale cross-linked polymeric matrix,*** obtained nanocomposites with a high relative fluorescence quantum yield（Q）exhibited superior fluorescent photoswitchable performance due to the effective photo-induced intermolecular energy *** stability of photomerocyanine was also improved.

Background The influences of genomic background are confirmed in more diseases. Immunologic tolerance after intrauterine infection of hepatitis B virus is considered to occur in T cells. Cytokines work effectively in eliminating virus by immune system after hepatitis B virus infection. To explore the relationship between cytokines （tumor necrosis factor-α, interferon-γ, interleukin-4 and interleukin-10）, which expressed abnormal quantity in the peripheral blood to intrauterine hepatitis B virus infectious children, gene single nucleotide polymorphism （SNP） and susceptibility to hepatitis B virus intrauterine infection. Methods This is a cross sectional study of molecular clinical epidemiology. The subjects in this study were selected from outpatients of hepatitis B vaccine follow-up special clinics of our hospital in the period. According to intrant criteria, the high risk children of hepatitis B virus （HBV） intrauterine infection were divided into immune failure group （group Ⅰ） ; and immune effective group （group Ⅱ） and non high risk children belonged to the control group. Four gene SNP sites of TNF-α -238, IFN-γ ＋874, IL-4 -590 and IL-10 -1082 were determined by real-time quantitative fluorescent polymerase chain reaction （PCR）. Results The significant differences of TNF-α- 238 A allele frequency were found between group Ⅰand group Ⅱ（X^2 =6. 797, P 〈 0.05 ） and between group Ⅰ and the control group （ X^2 = 9. 513, P 〈 0.05 ）. No evident differences of TNF-α- 238 A were found between group Ⅱand control group （ X^2 = 0. 047, P 〉 0. 05 ） ; the significant differences of IFN-γ ＋ 874 A allele frequency were found between group Ⅰand group Ⅱ（ X^2 = 7. 238, P〈0. 05）, and between group Ⅰand the control group （X^2 =5. 199,P 〈0. 05）. No evident differences were found between groupⅡ and the control group （ X^2 =0. 602 ,P 〉0. 05 ） ; the significant differences of IL-4 -590 C/T allele frequency were not found between groupⅠand group Ⅱ （ X^2 = 0. 632, P 〉 0. 05 ） , also group Ⅰ

One of the major reasons for high prevalence of hepatitis B virus (HBV) in China is the mother transmit the HBV to the infant during the intrauterine and perinatal period. There are 50% HBV carriers arising from the mother to infant transmission.~ 1-3 During the period of intrauterine or perinatal HBV infection, patients can be in long immunologic tolerance stage with high level of viremia (high load of HBV DNA) and high titer of HBeAg; alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and/or aspartate amino-transferase (AST) can be persistent normal or mild abnormally; liver histology will be normal or mild changing; being not sensitive to antiviral therapy.~ 4,5 So interruption of mother to infant transmission of HBV in intrauterine and perinatal period is an important part of prevention hepatitis B (HB) in our country.~ 6,7 The researches for immune tolerance of HBV intrauterine infection showed that T cell level and humoral immunity level of host decreased, due to the reduced secretion of T helper type 1 (Th1) and T helper type 2 (Th2) cytokines and lacking of effective modulation.~ 8,9 In recent years, people have recognized that many uncongenial diseases have genetic background. This contributes to explaining the difference of susceptibility, course, effect on therapy and prognosis of some diseases in different persons and masses.

A new method of testing frother performance was proposed. Four parameters were tested： maximum foam volume, foam half-life, gas-liquid ratio and mean foam rise velocity. Among them the former two parameters indicate frother＇s foaming ability and foam stability respectively, and the latter two indicate water carrying ability and foam viscosity, respectively. The performance of four frothers in a two-phase （solution-air） system was tested and batch flotation tests on a copper ore were carried out. By analyzing frother performance in a two-phase system and comparing with the flotation results, correlation between them was found. Higher-copper concentrate grade was obtained by frothers with weak water carrying ability and low foam viscosity. And frothers with strong foaming ability and stable foam tend to obtain higher copper recovery.

Selective modification of peptides has always been a challenging issue. The selective alkylation of peptides can alter the biological activity and physical properties of molecules, and it has gained significant research interest. We herein disclose an intriguing gold-catalyzed alkylation of peptides using bench-stable unactivated alkyl bromides under photoredox catalysis. A wide range of structurally diverse primary, secondary and tertiary alkyl bromides serve as effective coupling partners to precisely connect with the α-C(sp3)–H in glycine residue of peptides. This protocol demonstrates an exceptionally broad scope for alkyl halides and excellent tolerance for a wide range of useful functional groups. A series of relay transformations to construct cyclic peptides, to proceed click reaction and to realize peptide fluorescence labeling further enhance its synthetic practicality. In addition, mechanistic studies and density functional theory(DFT) calculations reveal an inner-sphere and subsequent outersphere single electron transfer(SET) mechanism.
