This article studies the almost-sure and the mean-square consensus control problems of second-order stochastic discrete-time multi-agent systems with multiplicative ***,a control law based on the absolute velocity and relative position information is ***,considering the existence of multiplicative noises and nonlinear terms with Lipschitz constants,the consensus control problem is solved through the use of a degenerated Lyapunov ***,for the linear second-order multi-agent systems,some explicit consensus conditions are ***,two sets of numerical simulations are performed.

With an increase of mining the upper limits under unconsolidated aquifers, dewatering of the bottom aquifer of the Quaternary system has become a major method to avoid water and sand *** the 8th District of the Taiping Coal Mine in south-western Shandong province, the bottom aquifer of the Quaternary system is moderate to excellent in water-yielding *** base rock above the coal seam is very thin in the concealed coal field of the Carboniferous and Permian ***, a comprehensive dewatering plan from both the ground surface and the panel was proposed to lower the groundwater level in order to ensure mining *** to the hydrogeologic conditions of the 8th District, we established a numerical model so that we could simulate the groundwater flow in the dewatering *** obtained the simulation parameters from previous data using backward modeling, such as the average coefficient of permeability of 12 m/d and the elastic storage coefficient of *** the same model, we predicted the movement of groundwater and water level variables and obtained the visible effect of the dewatering *** the overburden failure during mining, no water and/or sand inrush occurred because the groundwater level in the bottom aquifer was lowered to a safe water level.

In this paper,we introduce the separable task assignment problem(STAP)in which n separable tasks are assigned to m agents subject to agents’capacity *** objective is to minimize the costs that occur during the manufacturing and the communication between agents.A task is separable if it can be divided into two pieces,and both of them can be assigned individually or together to any agents.A separable task is considered as being assigned if and only if its two pieces are both *** several discrete(ternary)variables may be involved in STAP modeling,computing the problem in a reasonable time period is not an easy *** replace the ternary variables by binary and continuous variables through extending the logarithmic method introduced by Li et al.(INFORMS J Comput 25(4):643–653,2012)and Vielma et al.(Oper Res 58(2):303–315,2010).Our numerical experiments demonstrate that the newly generated model performs well in solving difficult separable task-assignment problems for pretty large scale of instance sizes.

The onset of prostate cancer(PCa)is often hidden,and recurrence and metastasis are more likely to occur due to chemotherapy ***,we identified downregulated long noncoding RNA(lncRNA)growth arrest-specific 5(GAS5)in PCa that was associated with metastasis and paclitaxel ***5 acted as a tumor suppressor in suppressing the proliferation and metastasis of paclitaxel-resistant PCa ***5 overexpression in vivo inhibited the tumor growth of xenografts and elevated PCa sensitivity to *** of GAS5 and paclitaxel treatment showed great potential in PCa ***,mechanistic analysis revealed a novel regulatory network of GAS5/miR-18a-5p/serine/threonine kinase 4(STK4)that inhibits epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition(EMT)and enhances tumor stem cell-like-mediated sensitivity to paclitaxel in *** findings provide a novel direction for the development of a potential adjunct to cancer chemotherapy that aims to improve the sensitivity of chemotherapy drugs in PCa.

Four Cu2＋ complexes of salicylidene-amino acid Schiff base with 1,10-phenanthroline （Phen） or 2,2＇- bipyridine （Bipy） were successfully intercalated in interlayer galleries of Mg/AI-NO3-1ayered double hydroxide （LDH） by the swelling-restored method. The hybrids were characterized by elemental analysis, X-ray diffraction, FT-IR spectra, UV-vis DRS, TG-DTA and SEM observation. Good protection of the complexes by LDH in neutral and weak acidic solutions was revealed by UV spectra, cyclic voltammograms and luminescence spectra.

Effects of the crude extract of Polygala tenuifolia Willd on human sperm in vitro

The aim of the present study is to analyze sperm membrane changes and the spermicidal effect in treatment with the crude extract from Polygala tenuifo/ia Willd （PTW） in vitro. The root of PTW was extracted in distilled water. Normal human spermatozoa were used to assess the spermicidal activity （Sander-Cramer assay） of the extract from the PTW root. The hypo-osmotic swelling （HOS） test and the eosin Y （EY） staining were used to detect the integrity of sperm membrane and vitality. The sperm chromatin dispersion （SCD） test was performed to determine sperm DNA integrity. N-9 was used as a reference standard and semen added to physiological saline was used as the control. Semen samples were donated by 42 healthy fertile men. The crude extract from the root of PTW could immobilize and kill 100% spermatozoa within 20 s in vitro at the concentrations of 20.0 and 10.0 mg/ml; at the concentration of 5.0 mg/ml, spermatozoa were immobilized in （39.5±3.2） s. In the groups of the crude extract from the root of PTW and N-9 solution the rate of the normal HOS （tails swollen） and the white head （unstained） was 0%, and the rate of the abnormal HOS （tails unswollen） and red head （stained） was 100%. Sperm DNA fragmentation showed no change in exposure to the crude extract from the root of PTW and N-9 solution. The sperm revival test did not show any spermatozoa that recovered their motilities. The rapid spermicidal activity of the crude extract from the root of PTW in vitro may occur by the disruption of the sperm membrane integrity.

Metal oxide semiconductor heterojunctions(MOSHs)can enhance the performance of ethanol gas sen-sors *** gas sensors based on MOSHs are cost-effective and have excellent sensing response,good selectivity,fast response and recovery,long-term stability or repeatability,a low operating temperature,a facile fabrica-tion process,and versatile *** paper reviews the recent advances in gas sensors that are based on MOSHs and the advantages of using them to detect ethanol *** to the literature,compared with ethanol gas sen-sors that use single-component sensing materials,the MOSHs exhibit superior performance due to the synergy between the different components,which can amplify the reception and transduction components of the sensor *** the best of our knowledge,heterojunctions can be grouped into four main categories as metal oxide/metal oxide,metal oxide/metal sulfide,metal oxide/noble metal,and metal oxide/other materials,including rare-earth metals,g-C_(3)N_(4),and graphene,*** future trends and challenges that would be faced in the development of ethanol gas sensors based on MOSHs are discussed in ***,critical ideas and thinking regarding the future progress of MOSH-based gas sensors are presented.
