Migratory connectivity describes the linkage between breeding and nonbreeding sites,having major ecological implications in birds:1 season influence the success of an individual or a population in the following *** studies on migratory connectivity have used large-scale approaches,often considering regional populations,but fine-scale studies are also necessary to understand colony *** lesser kestrel Falco naumanni,an insectivorous migratory raptor which form colonies during the breeding period,was considered to have strong connectivity based on regional ***,no small-scale studies on migratory connectivity have been ***,we GPS(Global Positioning System)-tracked 40 adult lesser kestrels from 15 different Spanish breeding colonies,estimating the overlap index between home ranges and the distance between their *** was found that lesser kestrels from the same breeding colony placed their nonbreeding areas at 347±281 km(mean±standard deviation)away from each other(range=23-990),and their home ranges over-lapped by 38.4±23.6%.No differences between intra-colony and inter-colony metrics were found,which suggests that lesser kestrels from the same breeding cluster do not overwinter together,but they spread out and mixed independently of the colony belonging throughout the nonbreeding range of the ***,this study highlights the importance of performing connectivity studies using fine-scale approaches.

The process-based water system models have been transitioning from single-functional to integrated multi-objective and multi-functional since the worldwide digital upgrade of urban water system *** proliferation of model complexity results in more significant uncertainty and computational ***,conventional model calibration methods are insufficient in dealing with extensive computational time and limited monitoring *** we introduce a novel machine learning system designed to expedite parameter optimization with limited data and boost efficiency in parameter ***,termed the machine learning parallel system for fast parameter search of integrated process-based models,aims to enhance both the performance and efficiency of the integrated model by ensuring its comprehensiveness,accuracy,and *** was constructed upon the concept of model surrogation t algorithm optimization using Ant Colony Optimization(ACO)coupled with Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM).The optimization results of the Integrated sewer network and urban river model demonstrate that the average relative percentage difference of the predicted river pollutant concentrations increases from 1.1 to 6.0,and the average absolute percent bias decreases from 124.3%to 8.8%.The model outputs closely align with the monitoring data,and parameter calibration time is reduced by 89.94%.MLPS enables the efficient optimization of integrated process-based models,facilitating the application of highly precise complex models in environmental *** design of MLPS also presents valuable insights for optimizing complex models in other fields.

Proper timing of flowering under different environmental conditions is critical for plant *** quality is a pivotal environmental cue that plays a critical role in flowering *** tend to flower late under light with a high red(R)/far-red(FR)light ratio but early under light with a low R/FR light ***,how plants fine-tune flowering in response to changes in light quality is not well ***,we demonstrate that F-box of Flowering 2(FOF2),an autonomous pathway–related regulator,physically interacts with VASCULAR PLANT ONE-ZINC FINGER 1 and 2(VOZ1 and VOZ2),which are direct downstream factors of the R/FR light receptor phytochrome B(PHYB).We show that PHYB physically interacts with FOF2,mediates stabilization of the FOF2 protein under FR light and end-of-day FR light,and enhances FOF2 binding to VOZ2,which leads to degradation of VOZ2 by SCF^(FOF2) E3 *** contrast,PHYB mediates degradation of FOF2 protein under R light and end-of-day R *** interaction studies demonstrated that FOF2 functions downstream of PHYB to promote FLC expression and inhibit flowering under both high R/FR light and simulated shade conditions,processes that are partially dependent on VOZ *** together,our findings suggest a novel mechanism whereby plants fine-tune flowering time through a PHYB–FOF2–VOZ2 module that modulates FLC expression in response to changes in light quality.

Based on the four dimensions of PCK,this paper investigates the professional development of rural PE teachers in Huaiji County by using the research methods of literature,questionnaire,interview and mathematical *** on PCK related theories,this paper analyzes the current situation of professional development of rural PE teachers in Huaiji County,explores the problems existing in the process of professional development,and provides an optimal path for the professional development of rural PE teachers,so as to improve the teaching ability and classroom quality of rural PE teachers,and promote the further development of rural PE education under the background of new curriculum *** the research,it is found that the shortcomings of rural PE teachers are:lack of situational knowledge;lack of understanding of the course content;not flexible use of teaching representation;low ability to identify the differences of students learning styles;lack of understanding of social environment,etc.

Interleukin-21(IL-21)is produced mainly by activated CD4^(+)T cells and promotes the proliferation,survival and differentiation of immune *** study characterised a high affinity binding receptor of IL-21(IL-21 Rα)from grass carp(Ctenopharyngodon idella,Ci)and analyzed the expression of CiIL-21 and CiIL-21 Rα.It has been shown that they were modulated by PAMPs and during infection with bacterial and viral *** CiIL-21 protein produced in bacteria was active in inducing the expression of genes involved in Th responses.A monoclonal CiIL-21 antibody was generated against the rCiIL-21 and showed good reactive specificity with the rCiIL-21 proteins expressed in *** cells,and HEK293 T cells and the native protein from PHA-stimulated kidney *** addition,the IL-21-producing cells detected by the CiIL-21 monoclonal antibody were found to be increased to in the kidney,spleen and hindgut after infection with Flavobacterium *** data indicate that IL-21 is involved in the regulation of immune response to bacterial and viral infection.

Air conditioning is a crucial participant in indoor air circulation and harmful microorganism *** elucidate microbial contamination in air conditioning systems,bacteria,fungi,and pollens in residential air conditioning(AC)filters in Shanghai were *** concentrations of fungal ITS(1,972,037±5,025,505 copies/cm^(2))in most filter samples were considerably higher than the 16S rRNA gene(21,587±21,461 copies/cm^(2)).The multitudinous bacteria determined a higher richness,whereas the trend was not in line with fungi,owing to Aspergillus flourishing,with an average of 43.75%.Numerous bacteria that may often be prevalent in human skin,mucous membranes,and intestines,such as Enhydrobacter,Micrococcus,Staphylococcus,Streptococcus,and Haemophilus,were also discovered in AC *** pollens were affiliated with Streptophyta at phylum,and Humulus was the most abundant genus(mean value 67.84%),raising the possibility of allergic *** study provides a better understanding of the microbial characteristics of AC filters,enables more rational approaches for microbe contaminant control,and ultimately improves human health in megacities.

Cyclization mechanism of monoterpenes catalyzed by monoterpene synthases in dipterocarpaceae

Monoterpenoids are typically present in the secretory tissues of higher plants,and their biosynthesis is catalyzed by the action of monoterpene synthases(MTSs).However,the knowledge about these enzymes is restricted in a few plant *** are responsible for the complex cyclization of monoterpene precursors,resulting in the production of diverse monoterpene *** enzymatic reactions are considered exceptionally complex in ***,it is crucial to understand the catalytic mechanism of MTSs to elucidate their ability to produce diverse or specific monoterpenoid *** our study,we analyzed thirteen genomes of Dipterocarpaceae and identified 38 MTSs that generate a variety of monoterpene *** focusing on four MTSs with different product spectra and analyzing the formation mechanism of acyclic,monocyclic and bicyclic products in MTSs,we observed that even a single amino acid mutation can change the specificity and diversity of MTS products,which is due to the synergistic effect between the shape of the active cavity and the stabilization of carbon-positive intermediates that the mutation ***,residues N340,I448,and phosphoric acid groups were found to be significant contributors to the stabilization of intermediate terpinyl and pinene *** in these residues,either directly or indirectly,can impact the synthesis of single monoterpenes or their *** revealing the role of key residues in the catalytic process and establishing the interaction model between specific residues and complex monoterpenes in MTSs,it will be possible to reasonably design and engineer different catalytic activities into existing MTSs,laying a foundation for the artificial design and industrial application of MTSs.

Molecular dielectric switches constitute a type of intelligent materials that are highly coveted for their distinctive advantages of switchable dielectric responses,lightweight,and mechanical ***(2D)hybrid perovskites have demonstrated excellent promise for assembling dielectric switches,in which the dynamic motions of organic moieties afford driving force to trigger switchable dielectric phase ***,we successfully assembled a new lead-free hybrid double perovskite,(CHA)4Cu Bi Br8(1,CHA=cyclohexylammonium),adopting a typical 2D structural motif,which shows dielectric anisotropy and bistable behaviors during the reversible phase transition near T_(c)=378 K(the Curie temperature).That is,its dielectric constants could be switched and tuned between high-dielectric and low-dielectric *** analyses reveal that the ordered-disordered transformation of the organic CHA+moiety and distortion of inorganic framework account for its phase *** result will stimulate further exploration of molecular dielectric switches in this 2D environmentally friendly family.

Urban green spaces play a crucial role in enhancing the well-being of urban residents and promoting sustainable urban development. However, optimizing the planning and management of urban green spaces to meet residents' diverse needs and preferences poses a considerable challenge. This study addresses this challenge by employing a landsenses ecology approach, integrating residents' perspectives into the planning and design of urban green spaces. Starting from human needs, a conceptual framework for the meliorization model of urban green spaces is constructed, grounded in the principles of landsense creation and incorporating a “design-simulation-management” process. Through this model, the mechanisms driving the meliorization process are explored. This study contributes to improving the meliorization process in landsenses ecology, while expanding the theoretical framework and methodology of landscape ecology. By emphasizing the dynamic interactions between land planning, construction, and residents' experiences, this study provides valuable insights into the dynamic development of urban green spaces, facilitating the implementation of sustainable urban development strategies and practices.
