DNA methylation is a critical epigenetic regulator in the occurrence and development of diseases and is closely related to various functional responses in relation to spinal cord *** investigate the role of DNA methylation in spinal cord injury,we constructed a library with reduced-representation bisulfite sequencing data obtained at various time points(day 0-42)after spinal cord injury in *** DNA methylation levels,specifically non-cpG(cHG and cHH)methylation levels,decreased modestly following spinal cord *** post-spinal cord injury were classified as early(day 0-3),intermediate(day7-14),and late(day 28-42)based on similarity and hie rarchical cluste ring of global DNA methylation *** non-cpG methylation level,which included cHG and cHH methylation levels,was markedly reduced despite accounting for a minor proportion of total methylation *** multiple genomic sites,including the 5’untranslated regions,promoter,exon,intron,and 3’untranslated regions,the non-cpG methylation level was markedly decreased following spinal cord injury,whereas the cpG methylation level remained unchanged at these *** one-half of the differentially methylated regions were located in intergenic areas;the other differentially methylated regions in both cpG and non-cpG regions were cluste red in intron regions,where the DNA methylation level was *** function of genes associated with differentially methylated regions in promoter regions was also *** Gene Ontology analysis results,DNA methylation was implicated in a number of essential functional responses to spinal cord injury,including neuronal synaptic connection creation and axon ***,neither cpG methylation nor non-cpG methylation was implicated in the functional response of glial or inflammatory *** summary,our work elucidated the dynamic pattern of DNA methylation in the spinal co rd following injury and identified reduced noncpG meth

A trigger system is typically employed in active seismic testing to trigger and synchronize multichannel surface wave data *** effect of the trigger system on the dispersion image of surface waves is empirically known to be negligible,however,theoretical explanation regarding the effect of the trigger system is *** study systematically examines the theory for surface wave dispersion analysis and proves that the effect of the trigger system on a dispersion image is negligible via a solid theoretical ***,based on the new theoretical explanation,an alternative method that uses only the relative phase difference between sensors to extract dispersion characteristics with better conceptual clarity is *** active surface wave testing cases are considered to validate the theory and *** results indicate that(1)an accurate trigger system is not necessary for surface wave data acquisition,and(2)it is unnecessary to assume that the impact point is the generation point of the surface waves for the experimental dispersion analysis.

The National Development and Reform commission of china announced in 2022 that it would promote the development of carbon peaking and ***,gradual improvement in photovoltaic(PV)development technology would gradually show its ***,the development of the PV power generation industry is promoted significantly by the year-on-year increase in PV power *** study combines the traditional fuzzy control and incremental conductance methods by comparing the current maximum power point(MPP)intelligence with the traditional control ***,it proposes an optimization algorithm to improve the tracking speed of the MPP by using the partition variable step *** incomplete partial differential equation is added to the judgment condition of the small step size to solve the problem of oscillation near the MPP caused by the ideal differential equation.A simulation model is established in MATLAB®/Simulink®and the method is simulated under specific *** time to reach the first maximum output point is shortened by 0.21 and 0.14 s by analysing the oscillation process data of three simulation cycles of the incremental conductance,fuzzy control and fuzzy conductance methods,***,the vibration loss caused by environmental mutation is reduced by 6.5%and 3.1%,*** improved incremental conductance method utilizes the simulation results to optimize the problem of steady-state oscillation and improve the efficiency of the PV power *** feasibility and effectiveness of the improved incremental conductance method are verified by comparing the traditional control algorithm with the improved incremental conductance method.

Mg-13.1 Gd-1.6 Ag-0.4 Zr(wt%)alloy was either iso-thermally extruded at 350℃ or differentialthermally extruded with respectively pre-heated billet at 500℃ and die at 350℃.The iso-thermal extrusion leads to a near fully recrystallized structure and a[0001]//ED(extrusion direction)*** contrast,the differential-thermally extruded alloy develops a bimodal-grained structure composed of fine equiaxed recrystallized grains and coarse elongated unrecrystallized grains with a0110//ED *** differential-thermally extruded alloy has a higher number density of precipitates after postextrusion ageing than that of the iso-thermally extruded ***,precipitation in the differential-thermally extruded alloy is further enhanced with cold rolling before ***,the alloy obtains room temperature tensile yield strength of 421 MPa and ultimate tensile strength of 515 MPa via differential-thermal extrusion,cold rolling and ageing,mainly ascribed to the coupled strengthening from the bimodal-grained structure and enhanced *** of the alloy is noticeably higher than those of Mg-Gd(-Y)-Ag extruded alloys with similar compositions reported previously and is comparable to those of other high-strength Mg wrought *** findings suggest that differentialthermal extrusion plus strain ageing is a suitable approach for achieving high strength in age-hardenable Mg alloys.

A high-order gas kinetic flux solver(GKFS)is presented for simulating inviscid compressible *** weighted essentially non-oscillatory(WENO)scheme on a uniform mesh in the finite volume formulation is combined with the circular function-based GKFS(c-GKFS)to capture more details of the flow fields with fewer *** from most of the current GKFSs,which are constructed based on the Maxwellian distribution function or its equivalent form,the c-GKFS simplifies the Maxwellian distribution function into the circular function,which ensures that the Euler or Navier-Stokes equations can be recovered *** improves the efficiency of the GKFS and reduces its complexity to facilitate the practical application of *** benchmark cases are simulated,and good agreement can be obtained in comparison with the references,which demonstrates that the high-order c-GKFS can achieve the desired accuracy.

In a previous study,the lanthanum citrate complex([Lacit2]3-) has been found to induce apoptosis in the human HeLa cervical cancer cell *** clarify the mechanism,we carried out comparative proteomics analysis between treated and control *** expressed proteins were separated electrophoretically and identified by MALDI-TOF/TOF tandem mass *** were profound changes in 14 proteins related to mitochondrial function and oxidative stress,suggesting that mitochondrial dysfunction plays a key role in [Lacit2]3--induced *** was confirmed by a decrease in the mitochondrial transmembrane potential,and increases in cytochrome c release and reactive oxygen species generation in [Lacit2]3--treated *** blotting analyses show that [Lacit2]3--induced apoptosis was accompanied by the activation of caspase-9 and the specific proteolytic cleavage of PARP,leading to an increase in the proapoptotic protein Bax and a decrease in the antiapoptotic protein *** results suggest that [Lacit2]3-induced the apoptosis of HeLa cells through oxidative stress mediated pathway involving MT participation.

This paper presents the integrated results of a series of new methods for preparing mesoporous silica spheres as high-performance liquid chromatography （HPLc） packing materials. The separation performance of the mesoporous spheres materials has also been determined. Micrometer- sized silica spheres with uniform spherical morphologies and ordered mesostructures were first successfully synthesized by the method employing a water-soluble polymer-assisted assembly. Then the templates for getting ordered mesoporous materials with high-density silanol groups were removed by using hydrothermal oxidation. Finally the silica spheres were functionalized with c8 alkyl groups by surface modification under hydrothermal conditions. The resultant functionalized silica spheres were demonstrated to be excellent oacking materials for HPLc.
