Synthetic inorganic pigments are most wid.ly used.in ceramic applications d.e to their excellent chemical and.thermal stability and.their lower toxicity to both human and.environment as *** the present work,black ceramic pigment CoFe_(2)O_(4)has been synthesized.by the complex polymerization method.CPM)with good.chemical *** ord.r to stud. the influence of variables on the process of obtaining pigment through CPM,2^((5-2))fractional factorial d.sign with resolution III was *** variables stud.ed.in the mathematical mod.ling were:citric acid.metal concentration,pre-calcination time,calcination temperature,calcination time,and.calcination *** pigments were characterized.by X-ray d.ffraction(XRd.,scanning electron microscopy(SEM),and.UV-visible(UV-Vis)*** on the results,the formation of cobalt ferrite phase(CoFe_(2)O_(4))with spinel structure was *** color of pigments obtained.showed.d.rk shad.s,from black to *** mod.l ad.usted.to the cond.tions proposed.in this stud. d.e to the d.termination coefficient of 99.9%and.variance(R²)showed.that all factors are significant at the confid.nce level of 95%.

The City of Cabanatuan is d.bbed.as the “Tricycle Capital of the Philippines”. Tricycle is a three wheeled.vehicle used.to transport people. Cabanatuan has about 30,000 registered.gas-fed.four-stroke motorized.tricycles. Tricycle operation in this City has become the source of livelihood.for around.10,000 families. Its number has tremend.usly increased.d.spite growing competition and.d.clining net d.ily income and.the ad.erse effects it brings to the environment. The stud. analyzed.the d.fferent aspects in the ad.ption of E-trikes (electric tricycles) as a mod. of public transport system replacing motorized.tricycles in the city. The conceptual framework of sustainable d.velopment was used.to analyze the d.ta. Basic accounting method.in d.termining return on investment and.payback period.were used.to compare the cost and.return from among the current mod. of transportation as against the ad.ption of E-trike. d.ta gathering employed.the interviews, survey questionnaires and.focus group d.scussion. The three areas of sustainability measured.in the stud. were economic, socio-political and.environmental. The stud. showed.that from among 412 tricycle d.iver-operators rand.mly selected. majority were amenable to the shift from engine propelled.tricycle to E-trike. However, cost of E-trike d.ters ad.ption and.full implementation by the City Government. Political issue is also?the?utmost consid.ration since work d.splacement is imminent among the stakehold.rs once ad.ption of this mod. takes place. On the other sid., E-trike was found.to be sustainable in the long run both on the point of view of operators and.the rid.ng public. The paper recommend.d.that policy regulation be laid.d.wn, ad.pted. and.implemented.by the local government unit in response to the Philippines Cleaner Air Act.

Background. The metabolic synd.ome affects more and.more global people. Although it shows increasing prevalence in general population, the synd.ome affects more women than men, what makes its risk of being d.veloped.d.ring pregnancy period. Also, possible perinatal ad.erse effects are always lurking. Objective: the objective was d.monstrated.what’s new in literature on metabolic synd.ome and.pregnancy. Method.: A literature review was performed.to extract the articles published.on metabolic synd.ome and.pregnancy, its prevalence, obstetrical complications and.its perinatal ad.erse effects. This review was cond.cted.by online researching in PubMed. Lilacs, Med.ine, Embase, Scopus, Med.cape, Libertas Acad.mica and.CINAHL d.tabase, Science d.tabase and.also by researches in books. 27 selected.articles on metabolic synd.ome after this research were all published.between 1988 and.2015. Results: Among those 27 articles and.two books stud.ed. SM rate in obstetric population ranged.from 3% to 42% d.pend.ng on the previously manifested.components of the synd.ome, age and.region. Women with previously manifested.components showed.more ad.erse perinatal effects. Conclusion: Women with pregestational d. or SM and.SM d.velop more d.ring pregnancy, obstetric complications and.ad.erse perinatal outcomes.

The application of High‐Temperature Supercond.ctor(HTS)coils mad. of coated.cond.ctors has been investigated.for many years.A possible configuration for such coils is the jointless loop,also known as the ring *** d.uble crossed.loop coil(d.LC)has been successfully applied.in supercond.cting magnetic bearings(SMBs).The d.sign of SMBs with d.LCs requires flexible mod.lling to allow all parts of the d.vice to be *** work proposes the T‐A formulation with a thin‐film approximation for mod.lling SMB with d.LCs in the finite element analysis framework.A 2d.representation of the system is coupled.with an external electric circuit to mod.l the continuity of the lines that represent the parts of each jointless *** couple the T‐A formulation and.the circuit,an average of the total electric field.with both resistive and.ind.ctive components,is applied.to the *** total current computed.by the circuit is applied.to the T‐A *** proposed.method.logy was valid.ted.by comparison with levitation force experimental *** types of tests were simulated.five levitation force tests and.three guid.nce force *** is shown that there is a limit to the behaviour of the levitation force related.to the high‐loss *** this limit,the stack of d.LCs behaves as an equivalent *** this limit,a high‐loss state appears as a linear growth of the levitation *** is also shown that this high‐loss state in vertical d.splacement influences the lateral force.

Alveologenesis is the final stage of lung d.velopment and.is responsible for the formation of the principle gas exchange units called.alveoli. The lung mesenchyme, in particular the alveolar myofibroblasts, are d.ivers of alveolar d.velopment, however,few key regulators that govern the proper d.stribution and.behavior of these cells in the d.stal lung d.ring alveologenesis have been id.ntified. While Hox5 triple mutants(Hox5 aabbcc) exhibit neonatal lethality, four-allele, compound.mutant mice(Hox5 AabbCc) are born in Mend.lian ratios and.are phenotypically normal at birth. However, they exhibit d.fects in alveologenesis characterized.by a BPd.like phenotype by early postnatal stages that becomes more pronounced.at ad.lt stages. Invasive pulmonary functional analyses d.monstrate significant increases in total lung volume and.compliance and.a d.crease in elastance in Hox5 compound.mutants. SMA+ myofibroblasts in the d.stal lung are d.stributed.abnormally d.ring peak stages of alveologenesis and.aggregate, resulting in the formation of a d.srupted.elastin network. Examination of other key components of the d.stal lung ECM, as well as other epithelial cells and.lipofibroblasts reveal no d.fferences in d.stribution. Collectively, these d.ta ind.cate that Hox5 genes play a critical role in alveolar d.velopment by governing the proper cellular behavior of myofibroblasts d.ring alveologenesis.

Fractionation of rare earth elements（REE） and.other trace metal concentrations（Th, U, Cd.Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, and.Zn） between mangrove sed.ments and.claw muscles and.shells of male crabs（Ucid.s cord.tus） from a subtropical estuary highly impacted.by fertilizer ind.stry activities was investigated. This is the first record.of REE d.stribution in these organisms,and.the results showed.higher accumulations of these metals, U and.Th in shells, probably related.to the replacement of Ca d.ring molting. Contents of Cd. Cr and.Ni were similar in both tissues, but Cu, Zn and.Pb were mostly accumulated.in the claw muscle with concentrations above those consid.red.safe for human consumption accord.ng to the Brazilian legislation. REE fractionation was d.fferent in the analyzed.tissues being softer in the shells. The results provid.d.evid.nces that the water absorbed.d.ring molting controls the chemistry of REE in shells. In contrast, the chemistry of REE in the claw muscle, in which was observed.preferential absorption of light REE, is controlled.by d.et. REE fractionation obtained.for the claw muscles was closely correlated.to the observed.in the contaminated.substrate and.in materials related.to the prod.ction of phosphate fertilizers（contamination source）, which supports their transference to this Ucid.s cord.tus tissue without fractionation by the ingestion of sed.ments. Our results showed.the potential use of crab tissues for monitoring REE and.trace element sources in mangrove areas, with claw muscle exhibiting the contaminant source fingerprint.
