A rhodium-catalyzed denitrogenative carbonylation of 1,2,3-thiadiazole with alkynes to construct(benzo)thiochromenones is developed.Both terminal and internal alkynes were compatible in this[3+2+1]cycloaddition,affording a broad range of poly-substituted thiochromenones.Unsymmetrical alkyne substrates exhibited good regioselectivity.

Comprehensive Summary,We herein report a simple ether-directed iridium-catalyzed site-and enantioselective C(sp^(2))-H borylation of benzhydryl ethers for the first time.Various chiral benzhydryl ethers were obtained with high enantioselectivities in the presence of a tailor-made chiral bidentate boryl ligand.We found that the kinetic resolution relay significantly amplified the enantioselectivity.The synthetic utility of the current method was demonstrated by gram-scale C—H borylation and C—B bond transformations.

The nuclear receptor DAX-1, encoded by the NR0B1 gene, is presented in the hypothalamic tissues in humans and other vertebrates. Human patients with NR0B1 mutations often have hypothalamic-pituitary defects, but the involvement of NR0B1 in hypothalamic development and function is not well understood. Here, we report the disruption of the nr0b1 gene in zebrafish causes abnormal expression of gonadotropins, a reduction in fertilization rate, and an increase in postfasting food intake, which are indicators of abnormal hypothalamic functions. We find that loss of nr0b1 increases the number of prodynorphin(pdyn)-expressing neurons but decreases the number of pro-opiomelanocortin(pomcb)-expressing neurons in the zebrafish hypothalamic arcuate region(ARC). Further examination reveals that the proliferation of progenitor cells is reduced in the hypothalamus of nr0b1 mutant embryos accompanying the decreased expression of genes in the Notch signaling pathway. Additionally, the inhibition of Notch signaling in wildtype embryos increases the number of pdyn neurons, mimicking the nr0b1 mutant phenotype. In contrast,ectopic activation of Notch signaling in nr0b1 mutant embryos decreases the number of pdyn neurons.Taken together, our results suggest that nr0b1 regulates neural progenitor proliferation and maintenance to ensure normal hypothalamic neuron development.

Nitrogen oxide(NO_(x))pollutants emitted from coal combustion are attracting growing public concern.While the traditional technologies of reducing NO_(x) were mainly focused on terminal treatment,and the research on source treatment is limited.This paper proposes a new coal combustion strategy that significantly reduces NO_(x) emissions during coal combustion.This strategy has two important advantages in reducing NO_(x) emissions.First,by introducing iron-based catalyst at the source,which will catalyze the conversion of coke nitrogen to volatile nitrogen during the pyrolysis process,thereby greatly reducing the coke nitrogen content.The second is de-NO_(x) process by a redox reaction between NO_(x) and reducing agents(coke,HCN,NH_(3),etc.)that occurred during coke combustion.Compared to direct combustion of coal,coke prepared by adding iron-based catalyst has 46.1% reduction in NO_(x) emissions.To determine the effect of iron-based additives on de-NO_(x) performance,demineralized coal(de-coal)was prepared to eliminate the effect of iron-based minerals in coal ash.The effects of iron compounds,additive dosages,and combustion temperatures on de-NO_(x) efficiency are systematically studied.The results revealed that the NO_(x) emission of the coke generated by pyrolysis of de-coal loaded with 3%(mass)Fe_(2)O_(3) decreases to 27.3% at combustion temperature of 900℃.Two main reasons for lower NO_(x) emissions were deduced:(1)During the catalytic coal pyrolysis stage,the nitrogen content in the coke decreases with the release of volatile nitrogen.(2)Part of the NO_(x) emitted during the coke combustion was converted into N_(2) for the catalytic effect of the Fe-based catalysts.It is of great practical value and scientific significance to the comprehensive treatment and the clean utilization process of coal.

of main observation and conclusion We herein report the first example of iridium-catalyzed enantioselective C(sp^3)-H borylation of cyclobutanes using benzoxazoline as the directing group.The combination of a chiral bidentate boryl ligand and an iridium precursor has found to effectively catalyze C(sp)-H borylation to afford a variety of cyclobutylboronates with good to excellent enantioselectivities.We also demonstrate the synthetic utility of the current method by converting the stereogenic C—B bond to other functionalities.

The transmission capacity of gas pipeline networks should be calculated and allocated to deal with the capacity booking with shippers. Technical capacities, which depend on the gas flow distribution at routes or interchange points, are calculated with a multiobjective optimization model and form a Pareto solution set in the entry/exit or point-to-point regime. Then, the commercial capacities, which can be directly applied in capacity booking, are calculated with single-objective optimization models that are transformed from the above multiobjective model based on three allocation rules and the demand of shippers.Next, peak-shaving capacities, which are daily oversupply or overdelivery amounts at inlets or deliveries,are calculated with two-stage transient optimization models. Considering the hydraulic process of a pipeline network and operating schemes of compressor stations, all the above models are mixed-integer nonlinear programming problems. Finally, a case study is made to demonstrate the ability of the models.

Zeolite X was synthesized by a two-step hydrothermal method using natural stellerite zeolite as the silicon seed,and its adsorption performance for Cd^(2+)and Ni^(2+)ions was experimentally and comprehensively investigated.The effects of p H,zeolite X dosage,contact time,and temperature on adsorption performance for Cd^(2+)and Ni^(2+)ions over were studied.The adsorption process was endothermic and spontaneous,and followed the pseudo-second-order kinetic and the Langmuir isotherm models.The maximum adsorption capacitiesfor Cd^(2+)and Ni^(2+)ions at 298 K were 173.553 and 75.897 mg.g-1,respectively.Ion exchange and precipitation were the principal mechanisms for the removal of Cd^(2+)ions from aqueous solutions by zeolite X,followed by electrostatic adsorption.Ion exchange was the principal mechanisms for the removal of Ni^(2+)ions from aqueous solutions by zeolite X,followed by electrostatic adsorption and precipitation.The zeolite X converted from stellerite zeolite has a low n(Si/Al),abundant hydroxyl groups,and high crystallinity and purity,imparting a good adsorption performance for Cd^(2+)and Ni^(2+)ions.This study suggests that zeolite X converted from stellerite zeolite could be a useful environmentally-friendly and effective tool for the removal of Cd^(2+)and Ni^(2+)ions from aqueous solutions.

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), which is caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS- CoV-2), is a life-threatening disease, especially in elderly individuals and those with comorbidities. The predominant clinical manifestation of COVID-19 is respiratory dysfunction, while neurological presentations are increasingly being recognized. SARS-CoV-2 invades host cells primarily via attachment of the spike protein to the angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) receptor expressed on cell membranes. Patients with Alzheimer’s disease (AD) are more susceptible to SARS-CoV-2 infection and prone to severe clinical outcomes. Recent studies have revealed some common risk fac-tors for AD and COVID-19. An understanding of the association between COVID-19 and AD and the potential related mechanisms may lead to the development of novel approaches to treating both diseases. In the present review, we first summarize the mechanisms by which SARS-CoV-2 invades the central nervous system (CNS) and then discuss the associations and potential shared key factors between COVID-19 and AD, with a focus on the ACE2 receptor, apolipo-protein E (APOE) genotype, age, and neuroinflammation.

The explosion of ChatGPT is considered to be a milestone in the normalization of artificial intelligence education applications.On the technical line,the cross-modal AI generation application based on human feedback system is accelerated.In the business model,the scenes to realize interactive functions are constantly enriched.This paper reviews the evolution process of AIGC,closely follows the current situation of the coexistence of business acceleration and technical worries in the application of artificial intelligence education,analyzes the application of AIGC education in 7 subdivided fields,and analyzes the optimization direction of application cases from the perspective of perception-cognition-creation technology maturity matrix.The 3 recommendations and 2 follow-up research directions will promote the scientific application of artificial intelligence education in the AIGC period.
