Objective:To investigate antidiabetic and antioxidant activities of the extract and fractions from Vietnamese red seaweed Laurencia ***:The seaweed Laurencia dendroidea was extracted by using microwave-assisted extraction method in 80%*** seaweed extract was then fractionated using different solvents(n-hexane,chloroform,ethyl acetate,butanol and water).These obtained fractions were evaluated forα-glucosidase inhibitory and antioxidant *** activities were tested using DPPH,nitric oxide radical scavenging and metal chelating *** enzyme inhibition mode was determined using Lineweaver-Burk *** acidic and thermal stabilities,the ethyl acetate fraction was treated at pH 2.0 and 100℃,*** residual inhibitory activity of the fraction was calculated based on the initial inhibitory *** in vivo antidiabetic activity,mice were divided into four groups,including normal control,diabetic control,diabetic mice treated with ethyl acetate fraction and diabetic mice treated with *** glucose level of treated mice during acute and prolonged treatments was *** evaluate the toxicity of the ethyl acetate fraction,the body weight changes and activities of liver function enzymes(aspartate transaminase,alanine transaminase and gammaglutamyl transferase)were carried ***:The extract of Laurencia dendroidea showed strongα-glucosidase inhibitory and DPPH radical scavenging *** concentrations affected bothα-glucosidase inhibitory and antioxidant activities.A 80%aqueous methanol was the suitable solvent for extraction of enzyme inhibitors and *** solvent fractions,ethyl acetate fraction had the highest inhibitory activities againstα-glucosidase with a mixed type of inhibition and the strongest antioxidant activities,and was stable under acidic and thermal *** ethyl acetate fraction treated diabetic mice significantly reduced blood glucose level compare

Observations of the ^12CO（3–2） emission from the circumstellar envelope（CSE） of the variable star π1Gru using the compact array of the ALMA observatory have been recently made accessible to the public. An analysis of the morphology and kinematics of the CSE is presented with a result very similar to that obtained earlier for ^12CO（2–1） emission using the Submillimeter Array. A quantitative comparison is made using their flared disk model. A new model is presented that provides a significantly better description of the data, using radial winds and smooth evolutions of the radio emission and wind velocity from the stellar equator to the poles.

Rainfall data with an appropriate spatial resolution is a key input to hydrological ***,networks of rain gauges are often sparsely and unevenly distributed in large catchments,especially in developing ***-resolution rainfall datasets,such as the Asian Precipitation Highly Resolved Observational Data Integration Towards Evaluation of Water Resources(APHRODITE),the Climate Forecast System Reanalysis(CFSR),the Climatic Research Unit Time Series(CRUTS),the Global Precipitation Climatology Centre(GPCC)and the Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission(TRMM),have become available to overcome such *** objective of this study was to evaluate the impacts of four land-based rainfall products(APHRODITE,CFSR,CRU-TS,and GPCC)and a satellite-based rainfall product(TRMM)on streamflow of the upper catchment of Tri An reservoir in Vietnam using the Hydrological Modeling System(HEC-HMS).In addition,the available rain gauges data were used for comparison *** indicates that the TRMM and GPCC data show their best match to rain gauges data in simulating the streamflow in the period 1999–***,the results indicate that the TRMM and GPCC data could be alternative solutions.

Artificial intelligence(AI)applications are observed in different industries including the services,where the impressive changing pace is boosted by the technological advances in *** use of AI in the daily work of individuals and in shaping the relationship between firms and customers has resulted in increased efficiency and a higher degree of fascination in *** are,however,customers'fears related to the use of ***,understanding how AI affects customer trust is worth *** study focuses on the AI applications and their impact on communication quality and customer *** features of AI applications investigated in this study include anthropomorphism,empathy response and interaction.A model was first empirically validated through Confirmatory Factor Analysis and tested using Covariance-Based Structural Equation *** were then collected from a survey of 507 customers of two banks and two big telecommunication firms in *** results indicate that anthropomorphism and interaction do not play critical roles in generating customer trust in AI unless they create communication quality with *** ability of empathy response makes customers trust in various service *** application seems to be a good solution for service firms to enhance their relationship with customers in difficult circumstances,including a pandemic *** study delivers implications for enhancing AI adoption in the service firms that intend to innovate their future operations.

We report on the synthesis of Sn-doped hematite nanoparticles(Sn-α-Fe_(2)O_(3) NPs)by the hydrothermal *** prepared Sn-α-Fe_(2)O_(3) NPs had a highly pure and well crystalline rhombohedral phase with an average particle size of 41.4 *** optical properties of as-synthesizedα-Fe_(2)O_(3) NPs show a higher bandgap energy(2.40-2.57 eV)than that of pure bulkα-Fe_(2)O_(3)(2.1 eV).By doping Sn intoα-Fe_(2)O_(3) NPs,the Sn-doped hematite was observed a redshift toward a long wavelength with in-creasing Sn concentration from 0%to 4.0%.The photocatalytic activity of Sn-dopedα-Fe_(2)O_(3) NPs was evaluated by Congo red(CR)dye *** degradation efficiency of CR dye using Sn-α-Fe_(2)O_(3) NPs catalyst is higher than that of pureα-Fe_(2)O_(3) *** highest degradation efficiency of CR dye was 97.8%using 2.5%Sn-dopedα-Fe_(2)O_(3) NPs catalyst under visible-light *** results suggest that the synthesized Sn-dopedα-Fe_(2)O_(3) nanoparticles might be a suitable approach to develop a photocatalytic degradation of toxic inorganic dye in wastewater.

Evaluation of Weathering Performance of Rosin-Copper Based Treated Wood

this study aimed to evaluate the effect of natural weathering on some surface characteristics and mechanical properties of Styrax wood treated with mixtures of 1.0%,2.0%,or 4.0%rosin sizing agent and 3%copper *** samples after treatment were exposed to outdoor conditions for one year and changes in color,glossiness,weight loss,compression strength parallel to grain(CSPG),modulus of rupture(MOR),and modulus of elasticity(MOE)were investigated after 6 and 12-month of natural *** results showed that rosin-copper treatment could improve color stability and gloss of samples after *** losses of all rosin-copper treated samples after 12 months of exposure were negligible compared with the untreated control *** addition,rosin-copper treatment enhanced the CSPG compared to untreated controls,but slightly decreased the MOR and MOE of Styrax wood before *** weathering factors induced a reduction for all strength properties,however,the decrease rate for strength properties of rosin-copper treated samples was negligible compared with the untreated control samples after 12-month natural weathering *** FTIR and SEM-EDX confirmed that the use of the rosin-copper formulations to impregnate wood could decrease the hazard of the copper preservative leaching into the environment,while also enhancing more resistance against weathering factors and other biotic factors.

Nowadays,web systems and servers are constantly at great risk from *** paper proposes a novel approach to detecting abnormal network traffic using a bidirectional long short-term memory(LSTM)network in combination with the ensemble learning ***,the binary classification module was used to detect the current abnormal ***,the abnormal flows were fed into the multilayer classification module to identify the specific type of *** this research,a deep learning bidirectional LSTM model,in combination with the convolutional neural network and attention technique,was deployed to identify a specific *** solve the real-time intrusion-detecting problem,a stacking ensemble-learning model was deployed to detect abnormal intrusion before being transferred to the attack classification *** class-weight technique was applied to overcome the data imbalance between the attack *** results showed that our approach gained good performance and the F1 accuracy on the CICIDS2017 data set reached 99.97%,which is higher than the results obtained in other research.

Objective: To evaluate the anti-arthritic effects of Polygonatum kingianum rhizome extract using both in vitro and in vivo ***: Lipopolysaccharide-induced RAW 264.7 macrophages were treated with an ethanol extract of Polygonatum kingianum rhizomes at different concentrations to determine nitric oxide and prostaglandin E2(PGE2) production. For in vivo study, Polygonatum kingianum ethanol extract was further investigated for its antiinflammatory effect in a mouse model with collagen antibodyinduced arthritis. Phytochemical study of Polygonatum kingianum ethanol extract was also ***: Saponins(142 mg/g total yield) was the main component in the Polygonatum kingianum ethanol extract. 5α,8α-ergosterol peroxide,(E,E)-9-oxooctadeca-10,12-dienoic acid and 3-(2?-hydroxy-4?-methoxy-benzyl)-5,7-dihydroxy-8-methyl-chroman-4-one were isolated from the extract. Polygonatum kingianum ethanol extract exhibited potential anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting nitric oxide and PGE2 production in RAW 264.7 cells in a dosedependent manner. The level of arthritis in mice with collagen antibody-induced arthritis was significantly reduced(P<0.01) after treatment with Polygonatum kingianum ethanol extract, particularly at a dose of 1 000 mg/kg body weight. Besides, the extract demonstrated the regulatory effects on serum tumor necrosis factoralpha, interleukin-6, and interleukin-10 in treated ***: Polygonatum kingianum ethanol extract has beneficial effects on inflammatory cytokine regulation and PGE2 inhibition in an experimental mouse model with collagen antibody-induced arthritis. The phytochemical screening reveals that the saponin, as the main component, and sterols(daucosterol and 5α,8α-ergosterol peroxide) from Polygonatum kingianum ethanol extract may contribute to its promising in vitro and in vivo anti-inflammatory activities.
