This study examines the systemic risk caused by major events in the international energy market(IEM)and proposes a management strategy to mitigate it. Using the tail-event driven network(TENET)method, this study constructed a tail-risk spillover network(TRSN) of IEM and simulated the dynamic spillover tail-risk process through the cascading failure mechanism. The study found that renewable energy markets contributed more to systemic risk during the Paris Agreement and the COVID-19pandemic, while fossil energy markets played a larger role during the Russia-Ukraine conflict. This study identifies systemically important markets(SM) and critical tail-risk spillover paths as potential sources of systemic risk. The research confirms that cutting off the IEM risk spillover path can greatly reduce systemic risk and the influence of SM. This study offers insights into the management of systemic risk in IEM and provides policy recommendations to reduce the impact of shock events.

In winter,rivers in cold regions often experience flood disasters resulted from ice jams or ice *** of the variation of ice jam thickness and water level during an ice jammed period are not only a practical need for ice prevention to avoid disaster and plan water resource,but also essential for the development of any mathematical model for predicting the evolution of ice *** far,some equations based on the energy equation have been proposed to describe the relationship between ice jam thickness and water ***,in the derivation of these equations,the local head loss coefficient at the ice jam head and the riverbed slope factor were ***,those reported equations cannot be used to preciously describe the flow energy equation with ice jams and accurately calculate the ice jam thickness and water *** the present study,a more comprehensive theoretical model for hydraulic calculation of ice jam thickness has been derived by considering important and essential factors including riverbed slope and local head loss coefficient at the ice jam ***,based on the data collected from laboratory experiments of ice jam accumulation,the local head loss coefficient at the ice jam head has been calculated,and the empirical equation for calculating the local head loss coefficient has been established by considering flow Froude number and the ratio of ice discharge to flow *** results of this study not only provide a new reference for calculating ice jam thickness and water level,but also present a theoretical basis for accurate CFD simulation of ice jams.

B-COPNA resin formation from ethylene tar light fractions:Process development and mechanical exploration by molecular simulation

An efficient utilization strategy of ethylene tar(ET),the main by-product of the ethylene cracking unit,is urgently required to meet demands for modern petrochemical *** the other hand,condensed polynuclear aromatic resin of moderate condensation degree(B-COPNA)is a widely used carbon material due to its superb processability,the production of which is,however,seriously limited by the high cost of raw *** such context,an interesting strategy was proposed in this study for producing B-COPNA resin using crosslinked light fractions of ethylene tar(ETLF,boiling pointluding reactions temperature,crosslinking agent,and catalyst content on the softening point and yield of B-COPNA resin products were then investigated to optimize the *** reaction mechanism of resin production was studied by analyzing the molecular structure and transition state of ETLF and crosslinking *** was shown that PXG exhibited a superior capacity of withdrawing electrons and a higher electrophilic reactivity than other crosslinking *** addition to the highest yield and greatest heat properties,PXG-prepared resin contained the most condensed *** corresponding optimized conditions of resin preparation were 180℃,1:1.9(PXG:ETLF),and 3%(mass)of catalyst content with a resin yield of 78.57%.It was the electrophilic substitution reaction that occurred between the ETLF and crosslinking agent molecules that were responsible for the resin formation,according to the experimental characterization and molecular ***,it was confirmed that the proposed strategy and demonstrated process can achieve a clean and high value-added utilization of ETLF via B-COPNA resin preparation,bringing huge economic value to the current petrochemical industry.

Existing GAN-based generative methodsare typically used for semantic image synthesis. Wepose the question of whether GAN-based architecturescan generate plausible depth maps and ﬁnd thatexisting methods have difficulty in generating depthmaps which reasonably represent 3D scene structuredue to the lack of global geometric ***, we propose DepthGAN, a novel method ofgenerating a depth map using a semantic layout asinput to aid construction, and manipulation of wellstructured 3D scene point clouds. Speciﬁcally, weﬁrst build a feature generation model with a cascadeof semantically-aware transformer blocks to obtaindepth features with global structural *** our semantically aware transformer block, wepropose a mixed attention module and a semanticallyaware layer normalization module to better exploitsemantic consistency for depth features ***, we present a novel semantically weighteddepth synthesis module, which generates adaptivedepth intervals for the current scene. We generate theﬁnal depth map by using a weighted combination ofsemantically aware depth weights for different depthranges. In this manner, we obtain a more accuratedepth map. Extensive experiments on indoor andoutdoor datasets demonstrate that DepthGAN achievessuperior results both quantitatively and visually for thedepth generation task.

The automatic stealth task of military time-sensitive targets plays a crucial role in maintaining national military security and mastering battlefield dynamics in military *** propose a novel Military Time-sensitive Targets Stealth Network via Real-time Mask Generation(MTTSNet).According to our knowledge,this is the first technology to automatically remove military targets in real-time from *** critical steps of MTTSNet are as follows:First,we designed a real-time mask generation network based on the encoder-decoder framework,combined with the domain expansion structure,to effectively extract mask ***,the ASPP structure in the encoder could achieve advanced semantic feature *** decoder stacked high-dimensional information with low-dimensional information to obtain an effective mask ***,the domain expansion module guided the adaptive expansion of mask ***,a context adversarial generation network based on gated convolution was constructed to achieve background restoration of mask positions in the original *** addition,our method worked in an end-to-end manner.A particular semantic segmentation dataset for military time-sensitive targets has been constructed,called the Military Time-sensitive Target Masking Dataset(MTMD).The MTMD dataset experiment successfully demonstrated that this method could create a mask that completely occludes the target and that the target could be hidden in real time using this *** demonstrated the concealment performance of our proposed method by comparing it to a number of well-known and highly optimized baselines.

Yolk-shell SiO2 particles(YP)with center-radial meso-channels were fabricated through a simple and effective ***-containing YP-supported NiMo catalysts with different Al amounts(NiMo/AYP-x,x=Si/Al molar proportion)were prepared and dibenzothiophene(DBT)and 4,6-dimethyl-dibenzothiophene(4,6-DMDBT)were employed as the probes to evaluate the hydrodesulfurization(HDS)catalytic *** as-prepared AYP-x carriers and corresponding catalysts were characterized by some advanced characterizations to obtain deeper correlations between physicochemical properties and the HDS *** average pore sizes of series AYP-x supports are above 6.0 nm,which favors the mass transfer of organic *** cavity between the yolk and the shell is beneficial for the enrichment of S-containing compounds and the accessibility between reactants and active *** embedded into the silica framework could facilitate the formation of Lewis(L)and Brønsted(B)acid sites and adjust the metal-support interaction(MSI).Among all the as-synthesized catalysts,NiMo/AYP-20 catalyst shows the highest HDS *** improved HDS activity of NiMo/AYP-20 catalyst is attributed to the perfect combination of excellent structural properties of the yolk-shell mesoporous silica,enhanced acidity,moderate MSI,and good accessibility/dispersion of active components.
