Atomically-dispersed iron-based electrocatalysts are promising substitutes for noble metal electrocatalysts because of excellent performance in oxygen reduction reaction(ORR).Rationally modulating the local coordination environment of the Fe site and optimizing the binding energy of oxygen reduction intermediates are effective strategies to optimize ORR ***,we report a new method in which Ni is introduced to construct NiFe dual single atoms and iron nanoclusters loaded on the nitrogen-doped carbon with a highly porous *** design plays a synergistic role of dual single atoms and clusters,optimizes the 3d orbital and Fermi level of Fe,breaks the symmetrical structure of Fe-N_(4),and effectively improves the adsorption/desorption behavior of the oxygen-containing *** tests show FeNCs/NiFeSAs-NC has an excellent intrinsic *** calculations show the oxygen-containing species on the Ni active site will move to the middle of NiFe(bridge site connection)after optimization and that the key step is OH desorption,with a reaction energy of 0.27 *** electron exchange between NiFe-N6 and Fe-cluster is very strong,further indicating the introduction of Ni species and Fe clusters has a regulatory effect on the electronic structure of Fe-N_(4).

As an intrinsic magnetic topological insulator with magnetic order and non-trivial topological structure,MnBi_(2)Te_(4)is an ideal material for studying exotic topological states such as quantum anomalous Hall effect and topological axion insulating ***,we carry out magnetic and electrical transport measurements on(Mn1–xGex)Bi_(2)Te_(4)(x=0,0.15,0.30,0.45,0.60,and 0.75)single *** is found that with increasing x,the dilution of magnetic moments gradually weakens the antiferromagnetic exchange ***,Ge doping reduces the critical field of ferromagnetic ordering,which may provide a possible way to implement the quantum anomalous Hall effect at lower magnetic *** transport measurements suggest that electrons are the dominant charge carriers,and the carrier density increases with the Ge doping ***,the Kondo effect is observed in the samples with x=0.45,0.60,and *** results suggest that doping germanium is a viable way to tune the magnetic and electrical transport properties of MnBi_(2)Te_(4),opening up the possibility of future applications in magnetic topological insulators.

Carbon nanotube field-effect transistors(CNTFETs)are increasingly recognized as a viable option for creating high-performance,low-power,and densely integrated circuits(ICs).Advancements in carbon-based electronics,encompassing materials and device technology,have enabled the fabrication of circuits with over 1000 gates,marking carbon-based integrated circuit design as a burgeoning field of research.A critical challenge in the realm of carbon-based very-large-scale integration(VLSI)is the lack of suitable automated design methodologies and infrastructure *** this study,we present the development of a waferscale 3μm carbon-based complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor(CMOS)process design kit(PDK)(3μm-CNTFETs-PDK)compatible with silicon-based Electronic Design Automation(EDA)tools and VLSI circuit design *** proposed 3μm-CNTFETs-PDK features a contacted gate pitch(CGP)of 21μm,a gate density of 128 gates/mm^(2),and a transistor density of 554 transistors/mm^(2),with an intrinsic gate delay around 134 *** of the 3μm-CNTFETs-PDK was achieved through the successful design and tape-out of 153 standard cells and 333-stage ring oscillator *** the carbon-based PDK and a silicon-based design platform,we successfully implemented a complete 64-bit static random-access memory(SRAM)circuit system for the first time,which exhibited timing,power,and area characteristics of clock@10 kHz,122.1μW,3795μm×2810μ*** research confirms that carbon-based IC design can be compatible with existing EDA tools and silicon-based VLSI design flow,thereby laying the groundwork for future carbon-based VLSI advancements.

In the generalized continuum mechanics(GCM)theory framework,asymmetric wave equations encompass the characteristic scale parameters of the medium,accounting for microstructure *** study integrates two theoretical branches of the GCM,the modified couple stress theory(M-CST)and the one-parameter second-strain-gradient theory,to form a novel asymmetric wave equation in a unified *** modeling of the asymmetric wave equation in a unified framework accurately describes subsurface structures with vital implications for subsequent seismic wave inversion and imaging ***,employing finite-difference(FD)methods for numerical modeling may introduce numerical dispersion,adversely affecting the accuracy of numerical *** design of an optimal FD operator is crucial for enhancing the accuracy of numerical modeling and emphasizing the scale ***,this study devises a hybrid scheme called the dung beetle optimization(DBO)algorithm with a simulated annealing(SA)algorithm,denoted as the SA-based hybrid DBO(SDBO)*** FD operator optimization method under the SDBO algorithm was developed and applied to the numerical modeling of asymmetric wave equations in a unified *** the DBO and SA algorithms mitigates the risk of convergence to a local *** numerical dispersion outcomes underscore that the proposed SDBO algorithm yields FD operators with precision errors constrained to 0.5‱while encompassing a broader spectrum *** result confirms the efficacy of the SDBO ***,the numerical modeling results demonstrate that the new FD method based on the SDBO algorithm effectively suppresses numerical dispersion and enhances the accuracy of elastic wave numerical modeling,thereby accentuating scale *** result is significant for extracting wavefield perturbations induced by complex microstructures in the medium and the analysis of scale effects.

Fluidized-bed reactors are widely employed in various high-temperature industrial ***,it is crucial to understand the temperature effect on various fluidization phenomena,specifically the minimum fluidization velocity(U_(mf))that governs various aspects of fluidized bed *** this study,we comprehensively analyze U_(mf) data from the literature to unravel the complexity and underlying mechanisms of temperature influence on this critical *** research examines experimental data encompassing a wide range of temperatures,pressures,and solid *** analysis reveals that the influence of temperature on U_(mf) is fundamentally determined by the relative importance of hydrodynamic forces and interparticle forces within fluidized beds and is realized by three distinctive temperature-induced changes:gas properties,bed voidage,and physiochemical characteristics of *** this basis,an equation is derived to enable predictions of temperature influences on the minimum fluidization velocity under broad temperature conditions.

Large-scale transcriptomic data are crucial for understanding the molecular features of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Integrated 15 transcriptomic datasets of HCC clinical samples,the first version of HCC database(HCCDB v1.0)was released in *** the meta-analysis of differentially expressed genes and prognosis-related genes across multiple datasets,it provides a systematic view of the altered biological processes and the inter-patient heterogeneities of HCC with high reproducibility and *** four years having passed,the database now needs integration of recently published ***,the latest single-cell and spatial transcriptomics have provided a great opportunity to decipher complex gene expression variations at the cellular level with spatial ***,we present HCCDB v2.0,an updated version that combines bulk,single-cell,and spatial transcriptomic data of HCC clinical *** dramatically expands the bulk sample size by adding 1656 new samples from 11 datasets to the existing 3917 samples,thereby enhancing the reliability of transcriptomic meta-analysis.A total of 182,832 cells and 69,352 spatial spots are added to the single-cell and spatial transcriptomics sections,respectively.A novel single-cell level and 2-dimension(sc-2D)metric is proposed as well to summarize cell type-specific and dysregulated gene expression *** are all graphically visualized in our online portal,allowing users to easily retrieve data through a user-friendly interface and navigate between different *** extensive clinical phenotypes and transcriptomic data in the database,we show two applications for identifying prognosis-associated cells and tumor *** v2.0 is available at http://***/database/hccdb2.
