Environmental pollution is escalating due to rapid global development that often prioritizes human needs over planetary *** global efforts to mitigate legacy pollutants,the continuous introduction of new substances remains a major threat to both people and the *** response,global initiatives are focusing on risk assessment and regulation of emerging contaminants,as demonstrated by the ongoing efforts to establish the UN’s Intergovernmental Science-Policy Panel on Chemicals,Waste,and Pollution *** review identifies the sources and impacts of emerging contaminants on planetary health,emphasizing the importance of adopting a One Health *** for monitoring and addressing these pollutants are discussed,underscoring the need for robust and socially equitable environmental policies at both regional and international *** actions are needed to transition toward sustainable pollution management practices to safeguard our planet for future generations.

In this paper, we consider whether the random effect exists in linear mixed models （LMMs） when only moment conditions are assumed. Based on the estimators of parameters and their asymptotic properties, a Wald-type test is constructed. It is consistent against global alternatives and is sensitive to the local alternatives converging to the null hypothesis at parametric rates, a fastest possibly rate for goodness-of-fit testing. Moreover, a simulation study shows the performance of the test is good. The procedure also applies to a real data.

The Large sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope（LAMOST） general survey is a spectroscopic survey that will eventually cover approximately half of the celestial sphere and collect 10 million spectra of stars, galaxies and QSOs. Objects in both the pilot survey and the first year regular survey are included in the LAMOST DR1. The pilot survey started in October 2011 and ended in June 2012, and the data have been released to the public as the LAMOST Pilot Data Release in August 2012. The regular survey started in September 2012, and completed its first year of operation in June 2013. The LAMOST DR1 includes a total of 1202 plates containing 2 955 336 spectra, of which 1 790 879 spectra have observed signalto-noise ratio（SNR） ≥ 10. All data with SNR ≥ 2 are formally released as LAMOST DR1 under the LAMOST data policy. This data release contains a total of 2 204 696 spectra, of which 1 944 329 are stellar spectra, 12 082 are galaxy spectra and 5017 are quasars. The DR1 not only includes spectra, but also three stellar catalogs with measured parameters： late A,FGK-type stars with high quality spectra（1 061 918 entries）, A-type stars（100 073 entries）, and M-type stars（121 522 entries）. This paper introduces the survey design, the observational and instrumental limitations, data reduction and analysis, and some caveats. A description of the FITS structure of spectral files and parameter catalogs is also provided.

A specific type S-scheme photocatalyst CeO_(2)@N-GO/g-C_(3)N_(4)was successfully synthesized,resulting in a 2-mer-captobenzothiazole(MBT)degradation rate of 100%,which is more than twice that of g-C_(3)N_(4)and CeO_(2).The improved degradation performance can be attributed to the introduction of N-graphene oxide(N-GO),which facilitates the electron ***,the unique Ce^(4+)→Ce^(3+)conversion property enhances the charge carrier utilization,and thereby the photocatalytic ***,theoretical calculations suggest the formation of an interfacial internal electric field(IEF)formed between CeO_(2)(the(200)and(311)planes)and g-C_(3)N_(4)(the(002)plane)to enhance the delocalization of the charge ***,various photo-electrochemical analyses are employed for the in-depth mechanism on MBT degradation and IEF-induced S-scheme over CeO_(2)@N-GO/g-C_(3)N_(4),where the differential charge proves the electron transfer path from CeO_(2)to g-C_(3)N_(4)that significantly prolongs its *** radical capture and electron spin resonance(ESR)results proved the existence of the active species of·OH,·O_(2)^(-),and h^(+)in the S-scheme photocatalytic system.

Abiotic stresses and soil nutrient limitations are major environmental conditions that reduce plant growth,productivity and *** have evolved mechanisms to perceive these environmental challenges,transmit the stress signals within cells as well as between cells and tissues,and make appropriate adjustments in their growth and development in order to survive and *** recent years,significant progress has been made on many fronts of the stress signaling research,particularly in understanding the downstream signaling events that culminate at the activation of stress-and nutrient limitation-responsive genes,cellular ion homeostasis,and growth ***,the revelation of the early events of stress signaling,particularly the identification of primary stress sensors,still lags *** this review,we summarize recent work on the genetic and molecular mechanisms of plant abiotic stress and nutrient limitation sensing and signaling and discuss new directions for future studies.

Cancer cells are usually characterized by hyperactive glucose metabolism,which can often lead to glucose scarcity;thus,alternative pathways to rewire cancer metabolism are ***,we demonstrated that GLUT3 was highly expressed in colorectal cancer(CRC)and negatively linked to CRC patient outcomes,whereas GLUT1 was not associated with CRC *** glucoselimiting conditions,GLUT3 expedited CRC cell growth by accelerating glucose input and fuelling nucleotide ***,GLUT3 had a greater impact on cell growth than GLUT1 under glucose-limiting ***,low-glucose stress dramatically upregulated GLUT3 via the AMPK/CREB1 ***,high GLUT3 expression remarkably increased the sensitivity of CRC cells to treatment with vitamin C and vitamin C-containing ***,the results of this study highlight the importance of the AMPK/CREB1/GLUT3 pathway for CRC cells to withstand glucose-limiting stress and underscore the therapeutic potential of vitamin C in CRC with high GLUT3 expression.

Background Data on the epidemiology of hypertension in Chinese non-dialysis chronic kidney disease （CKD） patients are *** aim of the present study was to investigate the prevalence,awareness,treatment,and control of hypertension in the non-dialysis CKD patients through a nationwide,multicenter study in *** The survey was performed in 61 tertiary hospitals in 31 provinces,municipalities,and autonomous regions in china （except hong kong,Macao,and Taiwan）.Trained physicians collected demographic and clinical data and measured blood pressure （BP） using a standardized *** was defned as systolic BP ≥140 mmHg and/or diastolic BP ≥90 mmHg,and/or use of antihypertensive *** 〈140/90 mmHg and 〈130/80 mmHg were used as the 2 thresholds of hypertension *** multivariate logistic regression with adjustment for sex and age,we analyzed the association between CKD stages and uncontrolled hypertension in non-dialysis CKD *** The analysis included 8927 non-dialysis CKD *** prevalence,awareness,and treatment of hypertension in non-dialysis CKD patients were 67.3%,85.8%,and 81.0%,*** hypertensive CKD patients,33.1% and 14.1% had controlled BP to 〈140/90 mmHg and 〈130/80 mmHg,*** successive CKD stages,the prevalence of hypertension in non-dialysis CKD patients increased,but the control of hypertension decreased （P〈0.001）.When the threshold of BP 〈130/80 mmHg was considered,the risk of uncontrolled hypertension in CKD 2,3a,3b,4,and 5 stages increased 1.3,1.4,1.4,2.5,and 4.0 times compared with CKD 1 stage,respectively （P〈0.05）.Using the threshold of 〈140/90 mmHg,the risk of uncontrolled hypertension increased in advanced stages （P〈0.05）.Conclusions The prevalence of hypertension Chinese non-dialysis CKD patients was high,and the hypertension control was *** successive CKD stages,the risk of uncontrolled hypertension increased.
