Early identification and treatment of stroke can greatly improve patient outcomes and quality of *** clinical tests such as the Cincinnati Pre-hospital Stroke Scale(CPSS)and the Face Arm Speech Test(FAST)are commonly used for stroke screening,accurate administration is dependent on specialized *** this study,we proposed a novel multimodal deep learning approach,based on the FAST,for assessing suspected stroke patients exhibiting symptoms such as limb weakness,facial paresis,and speech disorders in acute *** collected a dataset comprising videos and audio recordings of emergency room patients performing designated limb movements,facial expressions,and speech tests based on the *** compared the constructed deep learning model,which was designed to process multi-modal datasets,with six prior models that achieved good action classification performance,including the I3D,SlowFast,X3D,TPN,TimeSformer,and *** found that the findings of our deep learning model had a higher clinical value compared with the other ***,the multi-modal model outperformed its single-module variants,highlighting the benefit of utilizing multiple types of patient data,such as action videos and speech *** results indicate that a multi-modal deep learning model combined with the FAST could greatly improve the accuracy and sensitivity of early stroke identification of stroke,thus providing a practical and powerful tool for assessing stroke patients in an emergency clinical setting.

Background： Intravascular ultrasound （IVUS） examination can provide useful information during endovascular stent graft repair. However, its actual clinical utility in thoracic endovascular aortic repair （TEVAR） for type B aortic dissection （type B-AD） remains unclear, especially in complicated aortic dissection. We evaluated the effect of IVUS as a complementary tool during TEVAR. Methods： From September 2011 to April 2012, we conducted a prospective cohort study of 47 consecutive patients with ＂complicated＂ type B-AD diagnosed. We divided the patients into two groups： 1VUS-assisted TEVAR group and TEVAR using angiography alone group. The general procedure of TEVAR was performed. We evaluated the per±operative and follow-up events. Patient demographics, comorbidities, preoperative images, dissection morphology, details of operative strategy, intraoperative events, and postoperative course were recorded. Results： A total of 47 patients receiving TEVAR were enrolled. Among them （females, 8.51%; mean age, 57.38 i 13.02 years）, 13 cases （27.66%） were selected in the IVUS-assisted TEVAR group, and 34 were selected in the TEVAR group. All patients were symptomatic. The average diameter values of IVUS measurements in the landing zone were greater than those estimated by computed tomography angiography （31.82 ± 4.21 mm vs. 30.64 ± 4.13 ram, P 〈 0.001）. The technique success rate was 100%. Among the postoperative outcomes, statistical differences were only observed between the IVUS-assisted TEVAR group and TEVAR group for total operative time and the amount of contrast used （P = 0.013 and P 〈 0.001, respectively）. The follow-up ranged from 15 to 36 months for the IVUS-assisted TEVAR group and from 10 to 35 months for the TEVAR group （P = 0.646）. The primary endpoints were no statistical difference in the two groups. Conclusions： Intraoperative IVUS-assisted TEVAR is clinically feasible and safe. To the Editor：This is a brief clinical report on different endovascular procedures in the treatment of popliteal artery aneurysms （PAAs）.A 75-year-old man presented at the vascular clinic with progressive left lower limb pain at rest associated with coolness,pain,and *** medical history was significant for hypertension and *** femoral and popliteal pulsations were only felt in the left ***,pallor,paresthesia,delayed capillary refilling,and color changes were noted in the left limb together with rest *** ultrasound was performed and an embolization （Rutherford Grade 2b） and bilateral PAAs were found,which on computed tomography angiogram （CTA） measured 62 mm and 82 mm with the maximum diameters in the right and left popliteal artery,*** was found in both aneurysm sacs [Figure 1 a and b].Thromboembolism from the left PAA could be seen in the distal *** potentially associated aneurysms were excluded by magnetic resonance *** erythrocyte sedimentation rate and C-reactive protein were moderately elevated,and thrombophilia profile was negative,and history for any orogenital ulcers was negative.

living/controlled cationic ring-opening polymerization （ROP） of L-lactide is a promising approach to isotactic-rich and crystalline poly（L-lactide）.In contrast with the unsubstituted lactones,L-LA can not be polymerized by organic Lewis acids or carbenium ions,and the state of the art in this field is the cationic ROP of L-LA catalyzed by Br?nsted acid/alcohol system via activated monomer ***,we reported the first example of controlled cationic ROP of L-LA by using Meerweintype ion pair[Me3O]+[B（C6F5）4]-as the catalyst.[Me3O]+[B（C6F5）4]-promoted rapid L-LA cationic polymerization in the absence of alcohol,producing isotactic-rich and crystalline PLLA without transesterification and epimerization side *** activated chain end mechanism,involving twice SN2 substitution and configuration-inversion （S→R→S） with the assistance of released Me2O,was proposed and further verified by density functional theory and control *** work expands the catalytic toolbox of isotactic-rich and crystalline polylactide *** represents a unique example of cationic-controlled polymerization of L-LA catalyzed by an organic ion pair.

AIM: To develop a rapid detection method ofenteroviruses and Hepatitis A virus (HAV).METHODS: A one-step, single-tube consensus primersmultiplex RT-PCR was developed to simultaneouslydetect Poliovirus, Coxsackie virus, Echovirus and HAV.A general upstream primer and a HAV primer and fourdifferent sets of primers (5 primers) specific forPoliovirus, Coxsacki evirus, Echovirus and HAV cDNAwere mixed in the PCR mixture to reverse transcriptand amplify the target *** distinct amplified DNAsegments representing Poliovirus, Coxsackie virus,Echovirus and HAV were identified by gelelectrophoresis as 589-,671-, 1084-, and 1128bpsequences, respectively. Semi-nested PCR was used toconfirm the amplified products for each enterovirus ***: All four kinds of viral genome RNA weredetected, and producing four bands which could bedifferentiated by the band size on the *** confirmthe specificity of the multiplex PCR products, semi-nested PCR was performed. For all the four strainstested gave positive results .The detection sensitivityof multiplex PCR was similar to that of monoplex RT-PCR which was 24 PFU for Poliovrus, 21 PFU forCoxsackie virus,60 PFU for Echovirus and 105 TCID50for HAV. The minimum amount of enteric viral RNAdetected by semi-nested PCR was equivalent to 2.4 PFUfor Poliovrus, 2.1 PFU for Coxsackie virus, 6.0 PFU forEchovirus and 10.5 TCID50 for ***: The consensus primers multiplex RT-PCRhas more advantages over monoplex RT-PCR for entericviruses detection, namely, the rapid turnaround timeand cost effectiveness.

Breaking the structural symmetry of active sites in zeolite imidazolate framework for enhanced CO2 photoreduction

Adjusting the structure and composition of active sites is a highly effective method for activating linear ***, precise control of interfacial chemistry within molecular-scale environments presents a significant challenge in heterogeneous catalysis. In our study, we present symmetry-broken Mo-O-Co triple-atom active sites within the hybrid zeolite imidazole framework HZIF-CoMo. These sites disrupt the electronic balance and create a weak built-in electric field, thus promoting photocatalytic CO2reduction. The CO yield over HZIF-CoMo is improved to 3.1 mmol g-1h-1, which is over four times higher than the parent cobalt-imidazole framework MAF-6-Co. Both experimental and theoretical studies indicate that electronic modulation through the symmetry-breaking Mo-O-Co moiety acts as an organizing knob to accelerate charge separation and result in more carriers participating in the catalytic reaction. This work provides important insights into optimizing site-related electronic structures for targeted photocatalytic reactions.

土壤微生物由少数的丰富类群和大量的稀有类群组成,它们对生态系统的功能和服务有不同的贡献。本研究采用高通量测序技术对荒漠土壤样品的物种组成进行DNA测序分析,揭示土壤微生物丰富类群和稀有类群的组成结构。采用相关性分析和随机森林方法进一步分析环境因子对丰富和稀有类群群落的影响。最后,利用基于零模型的β-最近类群指数(βNTI)解析土壤微生物的群落构建机制。研究结果表明,在荒漠土壤中,稀有细菌的群落构建几乎完全由确定性的同质选择过程支配;相比之下,随机过程对丰富细菌的影响更为明显。然而,无论是丰富真菌还是稀有真菌都表现出相似的群落构建模式,即确定性过程和随机过程共同决定了真菌的群落构建过程。这些结果表明,随着平均年降水量(MAP)和平均年气温(MAT)的增加,丰富细菌的群落构建过程从随机性转变为确定性。而对稀有真菌来说,随着MAT的增加,群落构建过程从确定性向随机性转变。该研究提供了MAT和MAP调节荒漠土壤中丰富和稀有微生物群落构建过程的明确证据。这些发现为进一步研究土壤微生物群落结构和生态功能奠定了理论基础。

Researchers have recently achieved significant advances in deep learning techniques, which in turn has substantially advanced other research disciplines, such as natural language processing, image processing, speech recognition, and software engineering. Various deep learning techniques have been successfully employed to facilitate software engineering tasks, including code generation, software refactoring, and fault localization. Many studies have also been presented in top conferences and journals, demonstrating the applications of deep learning techniques in resolving various software engineering tasks. However,although several surveys have provided overall pictures of the application of deep learning techniques in software engineering,they focus more on learning techniques, that is, what kind of deep learning techniques are employed and how deep models are trained or fine-tuned for software engineering tasks. We still lack surveys explaining the advances of subareas in software engineering driven by deep learning techniques, as well as challenges and opportunities in each subarea. To this end, in this study, we present the first task-oriented survey on deep learning-based software engineering. It covers twelve major software engineering subareas significantly impacted by deep learning techniques. Such subareas spread out through the whole lifecycle of software development and maintenance, including requirements engineering, software development, testing, maintenance, and developer collaboration. As we believe that deep learning may provide an opportunity to revolutionize the whole discipline of software engineering, providing one survey covering as many subareas as possible in software engineering can help future research push forward the frontier of deep learning-based software engineering more systematically.
