Background and objective:The value of debulking surgery for unresectable well-differentiated metastatic pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor(m-PNET)remains poorly *** study aimed to evaluate the outcomes of m-PNET following debulking surgery in our ***:Patients with well-differentiated m-PNET in our hospital between February 2014 and March 2022 were *** and long-term outcomes of patients treated with radical resection,debulking surgery,and conservative therapy were compared ***:Fifty-three patients with well-differentiated m-PNET were reviewed,including 47 patients with unresectable m-PNET(debulking surgery,25;conservative therapy,22)and 6 patients with resectable m-PNET(radical resection).Patients undergoing debulking surgery had a post-operative Clavien–DindoIII complication rate of 16.0%without *** 5-year overall survival(OS)rate of patients treated with debulking surgery was significantly higher than that of those treated with conservative therapy alone(87.5%vs 37.8%,log-rank P=0.022).Besides,the 5-year OS rate of patients treated with debulking surgery was comparable to that of patients with resectable m-PNET undergoing radical resection(87.5%vs 100%,log-rank P=0.724).Conclusions:Patients with unresectable well-differentiated m-PNET who underwent resection had better long-term outcomes than those who received conservative therapy *** 5-year OS of patients undergoing debulking surgery and radical resection were *** surgery could be considered for patients with unresectable well-differentiated m-PNET if no contraindication exists.

The Kherlen River is the main water source for Hulun Lake,the largest lake in northern *** to reduced inflow from the Kherlen River,Hulun Lake experienced rapid shrinkage at the beginning of the 21st century,posing a serious threat to the ecological security of northern ***,there is still a significant lack of projections regarding future climate change and its hydrological response in the Kherlen River *** study analyzed the projected climate and streamflow changes in the Kherlen River basin,a vital yet vulnerable international semi-arid steppes type basin.A combination of multi-model ensemble projection techniques,and the soil and water assessment tool(SWAT)model was employed to examine the spatio-temporal changes in precipitation,temperature,streamflow,and the associated uncertainties in the *** temperature(an increase of 1.84-6.42℃)and the precipitation(an increase of 15.0-46.0 mm)of Kherlen River basin are projected to increase by 2100,leading to a rise in streamflow(1.08-4.78 m^(3) s^(-1)).The upstream of the Kherlen River exhibits remarkable increasing trends in precipitation,which has a dominant influence on streamflow of Kherlen *** increases in streamflow are observed in April,August,September,and October compared to the reference period(1971-2000).These findings suggest a partial alleviation of water scarcity in the Kherlen River,but also an increased likelihood of hydrological extreme *** projected temperature increase in the Kherlen River basin exhibits the smallest uncertainty,while more pronounced uncertainties are found in precipitation and *** spread among the results of CMIP6 models is greater than that of CMIP5 models,with lower signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)values for temperature,precipitation,and streamflow.

Background The feasibility of spleen-preserving distal pancreatectomy(SPDP)to treat well-differentiated non-functioning pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors(NF-pNETs)located at the body and/or tail of the pancreas remains *** pancreatectomy with splenectomy(DPS)has been widely applied in the treatment of NF-pNETs;however,it may increase the post-operative *** study aimed to evaluate whether SPDP is inferior to DPS in post-operative outcomes and survivals when being used to treat patients with NF-pNETs in our *** Clinicopathological features of patients with NF-pNETs who underwent curative SPDP or DPS at the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University(Guangzhou,China)between January 2010 and January 2022 were ***-term outcomes and 5-year survivals were compared between patients undergoing SPDP and those undergoing *** Sixty-three patients(SPDP,27;DPS,36)with well-differentiated NF-pNETs were *** patients had grade 1/2 *** identifying patients with T1–T2 NF-pNETs(SPDP,27;DPS,15),there was no disparity between the SPDP and DPS groups except for tumor size(median,1.4 vs 2.6 cm,P=0.001).There were no differences in operation time(median,250 vs 295 min,P=0.478),intraoperative blood loss(median,50 vs 100 mL,P=0.145),post-operative major complications(3.7%vs 13.3%,P=0.287),clinically relevant post-operative pancreatic fistula(22.2%vs 6.7%,P=0.390),or post-operative hospital stays(median,9 vs 9 days,P=0.750)between the SPDP and DPS ***–Meier curve showed no significant differences in the 5-year overall survival rate(100%vs 100%,log-rank P>0.999)or recurrence-free survival(100%vs 100%,log-rank P>0.999)between patients with T1–T2 NF-pNETs undergoing SPDP and those undergoing *** In patients with T1–T2 well-differentiated NF-pNETs,SPDP could achieve comparable post-operative outcomes and prognosis compared with DPS.

The further improvement of methacrolein(MAL)selectivity from isobutene(IB)oxidation is crucial and *** this study,based on the typical Mo-Bi-Fe-Co-K-O mixed metal oxide,the rare earth element Gd-doped,Ce-doped and CeGd co-doped catalysts were prepared by co-precipitation strategy to increase the selectivity of MAL from 47.9%to 49.8%,64.2% and 68.6%,*** order to elucidate in-depth the promoting effect of Ce and/or Gd,various characterizations were utilized including X-ray diffraction patterns(XRD),Raman,X-ray fluorescence spectrometry(XRF),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),O_(2)-temperature programmed desorption(O_(2)-TPD),H2-temperature programmed reduction(H2-TPR),CO_(2)-temperature programmed desorption(CO_(2)-TPD),IB-temperature programmed desorption(i-C4-TPD)and in-situ IB-Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(IB-FTIR).Both Ce and Gd finely regulate the bulk and surface structure of the catalyst,thus altering the redox ability,oxygen mobility and storage ability and *** with Ce,Gd addition slightly regulates the variation of Co^(2+)/Co^(3+)redox couples,greatly enhances the interaction among the components on the catalyst,thus only increases the content of surface oxygen species and has little effect on their *** Cecontaining catalyst performs stronger oxygen storage and migration ability,thus leading to the overproduction of surface Odefectspecies,which are proposed to be the active sites for the production of MAL and *** CeGd co-doped catalyst possesses the proper content of surface Odefectspecies,thus exhibits much higher MAL ***,the promoting mechanism of Ce and/or Gd over IB oxidation is ***,this work is helpful for understanding the influence of rare earth elements on the structure of mixed metal oxides and the olefin selective oxidation reaction.

MgO participates in all stages of sintering,pelletizing,and blast furnace ironmaking,and synergistically optimizing the distribution of MgO in ferrous burden can effectively enhance the interaction within the ferrous burdens and optimize the softening-melting properties of the mixed ***-containing pellets mixed with low-MgO sinter or mixed with high-MgO sinter in the blast furnace ferrous burden structure have opposite softening-melting performance *** the structure of the ferrous burden is magnesium-containing pellets mixed with low-MgO sinter,the magnesium-containing pellets can enhance the interaction of the ferrous burden in the process of softening-melting,which can optimize the composition of the slag phase and improve the slag *** the structure of the ferrous burden is magnesium-containing pellets mixed with high-MgO sinter,the magnesium-containing pellets weaken the interaction of the ferrous burden in the process of softening-melting,increase the content of the high melting point solid-phase particles in the slag,lead to an increase in the viscosity of the slag and difficult separation of the slag and iron,and decrease the permeability of the charge ***,to ensure good permeability of the mixed burden,the following measures are suggested:optimizing the MgO distribution of the ferrous burden,reducing the MgO content of the sinter to 1.96 wt.%,increasing the MgO content of the pellets to 1.03-1.30 wt.%,controlling the MgO/Al_(2)O_(3) ratio of the mixed burden within 1.15-1.32,narrowing the position of the cohesive zone,and maintaining an S value(permeability index)of approximately 150 kPa℃.

On account of the complicated magnetic exchange interactions between lanthanide ions,binuclear lanthanide complexes have broad application prospect in the field of single-molecule ***,it is necessary to develop reasonable bridging ligands to manipulate the directional assembly of binuclear lanthanide ***,we selected the macrocyclic ligand L^(N_(8)O_(2))to build up two new dilanthanide complexes[Ln_(2)(LN_(8)O_(2))(OpyO)_(2)(H_(2)O)2](NO_(3))_(2)(1-Ln,Ln=Dy,Tb;LN_(8)O_(2)=hexamethyl-tetraaza-dioxe-dipyrazolacycloicosaphane-2,9,12,19-tetraene;OpyOH=2-pyridinol-1-oxide).Dynamic magnetic studies show that 1-Dy exhibits slow relaxation behavior under a 1 kOe applied *** fitting analysis of relaxation times gives the effective energy barrier of 38.2 cm^(−1),and reveals that the slow magnetic relaxation behavior is dominated by the Orbach and Raman ***-resolution luminescence emission spectrum indicates the energy gap of 36.8 cm^(−1)between the ground state and the first excited state,consistent with the magnetic measurement results.1-Tb exhibits brilliant characteristic green light emission under UV light *** absolute quantum yield of 1-Tb is 44.8%,and its first-order fitted decay lifetime is 779.21μs at room *** study provides the way for directional construction of high-performance molecular materials with magnetic and optical dual-function.
