Microstructure and Mechanical Behavior of CrFeNi2V0.5Wx(x=0,0.25)High-Entropy Alloys

CrFeNi2V0.5Wx(x=0,0.25)alloys based on these parameters of mixing enthalpy(△Hmix,mixing entropy(△Smix,atomic radius difference(δ),valance electron concentration,and electronegativity difference(△χ)were designed and *** microstructure and room-temperature mechanical behavior of both alloys were *** test results showed that the CrFeNi2V0.5W0.25 alloy had higher yield strength than that of the W-free CrFeNi2V0.5 alloy,although they all exhibited quite larger compressive plasticity(ε>70%).Compression fracture surface of CrFeNi2V0.5W0.25 alloy revealed a ductile fracture in the face-centered cubic(FCC)phase and a brittle-like fracture in theσ***,tensile test results indicated that the CrFeNi2V0.5W0.25 alloy exhibited excellent mechanical property with an ultimate tensile strength of 640 MPa and a high tensile elongation of 15.7%.The tensile deformation mode of the FCC phase in the CrFeNi2V0.5W0.25alloy is dominated by planar glide,relating to dislocation configurations,high-density dislocations,and dislocation ***,dislocation slip plays a significant role in tensile deformation of CrFeNi2V0.5W0.25 high-entropy *** higher strength of CrFeNi2V0.5W0.25 alloy is predominantly due to the solid solution strengthening of W element andσphase precipitation *** of the higher tensile strength and plasticity suggests that the CrFeNi2V0.5W0.25 alloy can be a promising aerospace material.

Metformin(MET),a first-line oral agent used to treat diabetes,exerts its function mainly by activating adenosine monophosphate-activated *** accumulation of oxidized phospholipids in the outer layer of the retina plays a key role in retinal pigment epithelium(RPE)cells death and the formation of choroidal neovascularization(CNV),which mean the development of age-related macular degeneration(AMD).Recent studies have shown that MET can regulate lipid metabolism,inhibit inflammation,and prohibit retinal cell death and CNV formation due to various pathological ***,newly discovered functions of MET that may be used for the prevention and treatment of AMD were reviewed.

A series of novel and easily accessed ferrocene-based amino-phosphine-sulfonamide （f-Amphamide） ligands have been developed and ap- plied in Ir-catalyzed asymmetric hydrogenation of aryl ketones, affording the corresponding chiral secondary alcohols with excellent results （up to 〉99% conversion, 〉99% ee and TON up to 200 000）. DFT calculations suggest an activating model involving an alkali cation li.

Usefulness of mizoribine administration in children with frequently relapsing nephrotic syndrome, and the relationship between pharmacokinetic parameters and efficacy: a multicenter prospective cohort study in China

Background Mizoribine (MZR) is an immunosuppressant used to treat adult *** is little experience with the drug in treating Chinese children with frequently relapsing nephrotic syndrome (FRNS).We investigated the efficacy and safety for treating MZR with ***,the relationship between efficacy and serum concentration was *** A prospective multicenter observational 12-month study was performed for evaluating the usefulness of MZR with *** MZR concentration was measured,and the relationships between pharmacokinetic parameters (Cmax,AUC),number of relapses,and urinary protein were *** Eighty-two pediatric patients from four hospitals were treated with MZR and *** treatment significantly reduced the number of relapses and steroid doses.A correlation between pharmacokinetic parameters and relapses was observed,which fits well with the sigmoidal Emax *** in the relationship between pharmacokinetic parameters and urinary proteins,it was recognized that there was a threshold in the pharmacokinetic parameters for the therapeutic effect similar to the results obtained with the sigmoidal Emax *** patients (13.4%) experienced mild adverse *** MZR therapy was effective in reducing the number of relapses and steroid *** severe adverse reactions were *** effective serum concentrations were estimated to be Cmax > about 2 μg/mL or AUC > about 10 lag h/*** and steroid treatment were effective and safe for pediatric FRNS.

Cynoglossum amabile Stapf et Drumm is widely distributed in southern China, which has been used as an anti-inflammatory, antihepatitis, anticystitis agent in Chinese folk medicine. However, only a few phytochemical researches have been performed . Therefore, a systematic chemical investigation of it was carried out. In this work, we further investigated the chemical constituents and ten compounds were obtained, three of which were triterpene acids.

Identification of an H1N1 subtype of swine influenza virus and serological analysis

To investigate the epizootic of swine influenza virus(SIV),60 nasal swabs were collected from a clinical cases of pig farm in Tai’an City,Shandong Province of China in April *** was isolated by inoculating into 10-day-old Special Pathogen Free embryonated eggs and the whole genome was *** H1N1 subtype SIV was isolated and designated as A/swine/Shandong/TA04/2017(H1N1).Phylogenetic analysis showed that apart from the polymerase A(PA) fragment belonging to the 2009 pandemic H1N1 branch,seven genome segments belonged to avian-like H1N1 influenza virus *** cleavage site sequence of the hemagglutinin(HA) protein was PSIQSR↓G,which is a typical molecular biological *** potential N-glycosylation sites(N14,N26,N277,N484 and N543) were found in the HA *** further investigate the epidemiology of SIV in this farm,the 995 serum samples were assessed with EAH1N1 2009 pandemic H1N1 and H3 N2 *** results showed that the total positive rate was 65.43%.The positive rates of single virus infection detected by EAH1N1,2009 pdmH1N1 and H3 N2 for serum HI(Hemagglutination inhibition) were 48.35,30.85 and 7.47%,*** results showed that SIV in Shandong Province has been reassorted in some segments and the SIV-positive rate was high on the SIV outbreak *** data provide evidence of an epizootic of SIV.

Clodronate-containing liposomes attenuate lung injury in rats with severe acute pancreatitis

Objectives： Severe acute pancreatitis （SAP） can lead to acute lung injury （ALl）. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the protective effect of clodronate-containing liposomes on ALl in rats with SAP. Methods： The thin film method was used to prepare liposomes. Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into three groups. After the SAP model was established by injecting 5% （w/v） sodium taurocholate （2 ml/kg body weight） into the subcapsular space of the pancreata, normal saline was administered to the control （C） group, phosphate buffer solution （PBS）-containing liposome to the P group, and clodronate-containing liposome to the T group through tail veins. Blood samples were obtained from the superior mesenteric vein at 2 and 6 h to measure the levels of amylase, interleukin-6 （IL-6）, and tumor necrosis factor-a （TNF-α）. Morphological changes in the pancreata and lung were observed using hematoxylin and eosin （H＆E） staining, while cell apoptosis was detected using terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP nick end-labeling （TUNEL）. In addition, the macrophage marker cluster of differentiation 68 （CD68） in lung tissue was detected with immunohistochemistry. Results： Blood levels of amylase, IL-6, and TNF-α were significantly increased in the P group compared to those in the T group （P〈0.05）. In the T group, large numbers of TUNEL-positive cells were observed, but no or few in the C and P groups. Gross inspection and H＆E staining of pancreata and lung showed dramatic tissue damage, including inflammation and necrosis in the P group. Less remarkable changes were noted in the T group, and the C group exhibited normal histology. The histological scores according to Kaiser＇s criteria were consistent with H＆E findings. The number of CD68-positive macrophages decreased in the T group. Conclusions CIodronate-containing liposomes have a protective effect against ALl in rats with SAP. Blockade of macrophages may represent a novel therapeutic strategy in SAP.

In this study,selective dealumination of Beta zeolites was performed through partially removing the templating agent in Beta zeolites by calcination and then removing the aluminum on the external surface of Beta zeolites with acid *** catalysts were prepared by loading WO_(3)onto these dealuminated Beta *** was shown that the surface SiO_(2)/Al_(2)O_(3)of selectively dealuminated Beta zeolites was higher than that of conventionally dealuminated samples for the same bulk SiO_(2)/Al_(2)O_(3),and the hydrogenation activity of the catalyst of the selectively dealuminated Beta zeolites was lower than that of conventionally dealuminated Beta *** experimental results for tetralin hydrocracking to BTX showed that the catalysts based on the selectively dealuminated Beta zeolites had higher BTX selectivity and lower coke formation rate than that the catalysts based on the conventionally dealuminated Beta zeolites.

Energy saving by using asymmetric aftbodies for merchant ships–design methodology, numerical simulation and validation

The methodology and procedures are discussed on designing merchant ships to achieve fully-integrated and optimized hull-propulsion systems by using asymmetric aftbodies. Computational fluid dynamics （CFD） has been used to evaluate the powering performance through massive calculations with automatic deformation algorisms for the hull forms and the propeller blades. Comparative model tests of the designs to the optimized symmetric hull forms have been carried out to verify the efficiency gain. More than 6% improvement on the propulsive efficiency of an oil tanker has been measured during the model tests. Dedicated sea-trials show good agreement with the predicted performance from the test results.
