Enhancing the power conversion efficiency(PCE)is the major task in the development of solar cells[1−5].In 1961,William Shockley and Hans *** pointed out that the highest PCE for a single-junction solar cell is limited to 31%due to the thermalization and transmission losses[6].Singlet fission(SF)is an appealing carrier-multiplication approach to break the Shockley-Queisser limit,since it converts one high-energy singlet exciton into two low-energy triplet ***,one absorbed photon generates two electron-hole pairs.

In order to describe the thermal–mechanical behavior of the ship plate steel continuous casting slab during solidification end heavy reduction(HR)process accurately,its constitutive behavior was investigated by a single-pass thermal compression *** to the deformation features of wide thick continuous casting slab with HR,the simulation temperature ranged from 1173 to 1573 K with strain rates of 0.0001,0.001,0.01 and 0.1 s^(-1).Three different constitutive models,the modified Johnson–Cook(JC)model,the modified Zerilli–Armstrong(ZA)model and the Arrhenius model,were established according to the obtained true stress–strain *** average relative error of the modified JC model,the modified ZA model and the Arrhenius model are 10.82%,9.96%and 6.21%,*** the obvious softening effect of the flow curve at a low strain rate,the secondary softening factor under the interaction of low strain rate and the temperature was introduced in the original Arrhenius *** to the Arrhenius model,the modified Arrhenius model error decreased from 6.21%to 4.73%.

In this paper, a novel structure of linear-in-dB gain control is introduced. Based on this structure, a wideband variable gain low noise amplifier （VGLNA） has been designed and implemented in 0.18μm RF CMOS technology. The measured resuhs show a good linear-in-dB gain control characteristic with 15 dB dynamic range. It can operate in the frequency range of MHz and consumes 30mW from 1.8V power supply. The minimum noise figure is 4.1 dB at the 48 - 860 maximum gain and the input P1dB is greater than - 16.5dBm.

A new compressor thermodynamic model is set up. Artificial neural networks(ANN) which have self adjusting functions are adopted to calculate volumetric efficiency and electrical efficiency of a compressor. The new compressor model composed of the theoretical model and ANN reaches more precise results than traditional ones. Furthermore, the new compressor model is of better flexibility in a large scale.

Black phosphorus(BP)has attracted an ever-growing interest due to its unique anisotropic two-dimensional structure,impressive photoelectronic properties and attractive application ***,the tools for bandgap engineering and passivation via covalent modification of BP nanosheets remain limited to diazonium salt and nucleophilic addition methods,so that developing new modification strategies for BP nanosheets is crucial to explore its physical and chemical properties and enrich the toolbox for ***,we report the covalent modification of liquid-phase exfoliated BP nanosheets based on a rational analysis of BP *** modification of BP is achieved via carbene,a highly reactive organic *** carbene modification improves the solubility and stability of BP *** microscopic and spectroscopic characterizations including infrared spectra,Raman spectra,X-ray photoelectron spectra,SEM and TEM were conducted to provide insights for the *** proof of the existence of covalent bonds between BP nanosheets and organic moieties confirms the successful ***,theoretical calculations were conducted to unveil the reaction mechanism of the two different types of bonds and the chemical property of two-dimensional BP.

Developing high-quality electret layer is important for the fabrication of highperformance nonvolatile organic field effect transistor memory devices(OFETNVMs).In this work,three representative aromatic diimide frameworks are employed for comparative studies as n-type doping materials for the electret layers in OFET-NVMs,which are naphthalene diimide(NDI),perylene diimide(PDI),and pyrene diimide(PyDI).When blended with polystyrene(PS)to prepare the electret layers,all the memory devices containing aromatic diimide dopants exhibited significantly improved performances compared with the undoped counterparts,indicating that low-lying LUMO energy levels of these dopants are beneficial for charge *** the devices with n-type dopants exhibited long retention times(more than 104 s)and good switching reliability in more than 400 continuous write-read-erase-read *** them,the PyDI-based memory device exhibited superior performance compared with other aromatic diimides,which achieved a memory window of 34.0 V,a trapping charge density of 1.98×1012 cm−2 along with an on/off ratio higher than *** work indicates that PyDI framework could be a new platform for the future design of n-type dopant for high-performance nonvolatile organic field-effect transistor memory devices.

Chemical Modification and Fluorescence Spectrum of Tryptophan Residues in Pullulanase

Tryptophan（Trp） residues in a pullulanase were modified by N-bromosuccinimide（NBS）. The results of the Spande method indicate that there are 18 Trp residues in the pullulanase and nine of them are located on the surface af the enzyme. Three of these Trp residues are nonessential residues which show the fastest reaction rate according to the Zou＇s plot. Two of the seven relative faster reacting residues are essential for the activity of the enzyme. The other eight are the slowest in the reaction rate or non-reactive residues for the reaction. The fluorescence and circular dichroism（CD） spectra of the pullulanase have been changed after the reaction with NBS. Potassium iodide（KI） and acrylamide also have remarkable influences on the fluorescence spectra of the pullulanase.

The high-resolution micro-computed tomography (micro-CT) system has now become an important tool for biological research. The micro-CT system enables a non-invasive inspection to screen anatomical changes in small animals. The promising advantages include high-spatial resolution, high sensitivity to bone and lung, short scan time and cost-e ectiveness. The dose received by the small animal might be a critical concern in the research. In this article, the choice of the components, fundamental physical problems, the image recon- struction algorithm and the representative applications of micro-CT are summarized. Some results from our research group are also pre- sented to show high-resolution images obtained by the micro-CT system.

Chiral organic-inorganic hybrid metal halides(OIHMHs)have attracted broader scientific community recently in spin lightemitting diodes,and circularly polarized light-emitting ***,the emission peaks of the reported chiral OIHMHs mainly locate in the visible region,and chiral OIHMH with ultraviolet(UV)circularly polarized luminescence(CPL)has been rarely *** fill this gap,cerium,a unique rare-earth(RE)element with tunable luminescence from UV to the visible region owing to the 4 f-related electronic transition,was introduced to construct the first RE-based chiral OIHMHs,R/*** chirality is successfully transferred from the chiral organic cations to the inorganic cerium chloride framework in R/S-MCC,as confirmed by the single crystal structures,circular dichroism,and *** emission spectra of R/S-MCC are in the UV region,originating from the characteristic d-f transition of Ce^(3+),which making the Ce-based metal halides are ideal candidates towards CPL light sources in the UV ***,R-and S-MCC are the first RE-based OIHMHs,also the first chiral metalhalides with UV *** work opens a new avenue for the development of the chiral OIHMH family towards RE-based chiral *** RE-based chiral metal halides couple the unique and superior optical,electrical,magnetic,and spintronic properties of RE elements with chirality could accelerate the development of chiral optoelectronics and spintronics toward real applications.
