In this paper, heat transfer of the ceramic honeycomb regenerator was numerically simulated based on the computational fluid dynamics numerical analysis software CFX5. The longitudinal temperature distribution of regenerator and gas were obtained. The variation of temperature with time was discussed. In addition, the effects of some parameters such as switching time, gas temperature at the inlet of regenerator, height of regenerator and specific heat of the regenerative materials on heat saturating time were discussed. It provided primarily theoretic basis for further study of regenerative heat transfer mechanism.

In this work,the BMS-12 pre-sintered material was used as the basic material,and the optimal secondary additive addition amount was found by the wet pressing ***,the anisotropic ferrite material was prepared by dry-pres sing method,and the effects of camphor adhesives,calcium stearate lubricant and powder particle size on the magnetic properties were *** experimental results show that the appropriate addition amount of camphor adhesive and calcium stearate lubricant is 0.6 wt%and 0.8 wt%,*** remanence and coercivity can be obtained for particle size of 0.85-1.00μ*** dry-pressed magnet ferrite was prepared with typical properties of magnetic induction intensity of Br=421 mT,induction coercivity of Hcb=296 kA·m-1,intrinsic coercivity of Hcj=369 kA·m-1 and maximum energy product of(BH)max=33.3 kJ·m-3,which have reached the level of TDK corporation product of FB5 *** shows that the dry-pressed magnet of La-Ca-Sr-Co system has higher remanence and intrinsic coercivity than the traditional wetpressed Sr-ferrite.

Angiogenesis in atherosclemtic plaque plays a critical role in the mechanism of atherosclerotic physiopathology. Present consensus shows that angiogenesis in atherosclerotic plaque is mainly resulted in hypoxia, inflammation and some pro-angiogenic factors. The homeostasis in plaque, which is hypoxic and infiltrated by inflammatory cells, may lead to angiogenesis, increase the plaque instability and the incidence rate of vascular events. This article reviews the progression of pathogenetic mechanism, physiopathological significance, relevant detecting technique and corresponding therapeutic methods of Chinese and Western medicine of angiogenesis in atherosclerotic plaque, so as to provide more theoretical basis for atherosclerotic clinical treatment.

Analysis of the lignin Contents and Related Enzymes Activities in Seed Coat Between Black-Seeded and Yellow-Seeded Rapes (Brassica napus L.)

One pair of near isonegic yellow/black seeded rape （Brassica napus L） were used as experimental materials to study the changes of lignin contents and enzymes activities of 4-coumarate： CoA ligase （4CL）, Cinnamyl alcohol dehydrogenase （CAD） and ferulate 5-hydroxylase （F5H） in seedcoats during the stage of seed development. The variation analysis showed that the changes of lignin contents and enzyme activities of 4CL, CAD and F5H in seed coat had significant differences between black- and yellow-seeded rapes, and also between different development stages. The correlation analysis demonstrated that the lignin contents were positively correlative to the activities of all three enzymes investigated in the study, and the interactions between them in the seed coat of the two lines. For yellow-seeded rape, the correlation coefficient （0.7262018） of lignin content and the interaction between 4CL and F5H was significant, the lignin contents were highly positively correlative to the activities of CAD and F5H, the interaction between 4CL and CAD, and the interaction between CAD and F5H. For the black-seeded rape, only the lignin content was highly positively correlative to the activity of F5H （the correlation coefficient was 0.772949）, the other correlation coefficients, i. e. lignin contents to 4CL, CAD activities, the interactions between the three enzymes were not significant although all the correlation coefficients were above 0.5000. The results suggested that 4CL, CAD and F5H regulated the biosynthesis of lignin in seedcoat of rapes, leading to the lignin contents in the seedcoats of the yellow-seeded rape much lower than that of the black-seeded line, and affecting the thickness of the developing seedcoats in rapes. Therefore, it was likely to change the seedcoat ratio by overexpressing or suppressing the activities of one of the enzymes, both of them or all of them.

Herein we report novel photocatalysts ZnIn2S4-Ag-LaFeO3with the core-shell structured materials prepared by hydrothermal *** order to improve the efficiency of photocatalytic degradation of pollutants,LaFeO3was prepared by hydrothermal followed by calcination,and further Ag nanoparticle（NP） was loaded onto the spherical structure of LaFeO3by photolysis of silver nitrate,and finally the spherical Znln2S4-Ag-LaFeO3photocatalyst was prepared by hydrothermal method *** structure and properties of the as-prepared materials were characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,ultraviolet-visible absorption spectroscopy,X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy and fluorescence *** results show that the synthesized composite photocatalysts display a significant improvement in photocatalytic efficiency relative to the single LaFeO3and ZnIn2S4and form a core-shell ***,the effect of the ratio of each component on the photocatalytic efficiency was investigated in detail,and it is discovered that at an Methylene Blue（MB） concentration of 0.219 mol/L,the degradation rate of MB is 95% at 120 min using 0.02 g of catalyst with an ideal ZnIn2S4:Ag:LaFeO3ratio of 10:0.5:*** possible mechanisms to improve the photocatalytic efficiency were explored.

Expressed sequence tags（ESTs） are generated from single-pass sequencing of randomly picked cDNA clones and can be used for development of simple sequence repeat（SSR） markers or ***,EST databases have been developed for only a small number of *** paper provides a case study of the utility of freely available birch EST resources for the development of markers necessary for the genetic analysis of Betula *** on birch EST data,primers for 80 EST-SSR candidate loci were developed and tested in *** these,59 EST-SSR loci yielded single,stable and clear PCR *** then tested the utility of those 59 markers in *** results showed 28（47.6%） yielded stable and clear PCR products for at least one *** *** addition,this study describes a rapid and inexpensive alternative for the development of SSRs in species with scarce available sequence data.

The development of an e fficacious and easily prepared no nprecious metal electrocatalyst is crucial for the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR).This work used a dual template method to prepare the amorphous rare earth-based catalyst PrO_(x)-NC,and optimized the calcination temperature and *** PrO_(x)-NC-900 catalyst has high durability and activity and exhibits superior ORR performance in alkaline electrolytes with an onset potential(E_(0))of 0.96 V and a half-wave potential(E_(1/2))of 0.85 *** research results indicate that the ORR performance of rare earth oxide composite carbon catalysts can be improved by adjusting oxygen vacancies(Ov).In addition,high specific surface area,N rich defect *** oxygen vacancies,and the synergistic effect of oxygen vacancies and N-doped carbon interfacial layer play a significant part in the enhancement of *** performance of the zinc air battery assembled with PrO_(x)-NC-900 is significantly improved,and rare earth oxides and carbon frameworks originating from metal organic frameworks(MOFs)contribute to the oxygen electrocatalyst and electron transfer rate of the zinc air *** catalyst provides promising information for the development of rare earth metal oxide nanostructures as potential candidate materials for ORR in alkaline media.

The effective construction of electromagnetic(EM)wave absorption materials with thin matching thickness,broad bandwidth,and remarkable absorption is a great solution to EM pollution,which is a hot topic in current environmental *** this study,N-doped reduced graphene oxide(N-rGO)was first prepared using a facile hydrothermal ***,high-purity 1T-MoS_(2)petals were homogeneously anchored to the wrinkled surface of N-rGO to fabricate 1T-MoS_(2)@N-rGO *** numerous electric di-poles and profuse heterointerfaces in 1T-MoS_(2)@N-rGO would induced the multiple reflection and scattering of EM waves in a distinct-ive multidimensional structure formed by two-dimensional N-rGO and 1T-MoS_(2)microspheres with plentiful thin nanosheets,remarkable conduction loss derived from the migration of massive electrons in a well-constructed conductive network formed by 1T-MoS_(2)@N-rGO,and abundant polarization loss(including dipolar polarization loss and interfacial polarization loss).All of these gave the 1T-MoS_(2)@N-rGO nanocomposites superior EM wave absorption *** effective absorption bandwidth of 1T-MoS_(2)@N-rGO reached 6.48 GHz with a relatively thin matching thickness of 1.84 mm,and a minimum reflection loss of-52.24 dB was achieved at 3.84 ***,the radar scattering cross-section reduction value of 1T-MoS_(2)@N-rGO was up to 35.42 dB·m^(2) at 0°,which further verified the huge potential of our fabricated 1T-MoS_(2)@N-rGO nanocomposites in practical applications.

Predictors of patient survival following living donor liver transplantation

BACKGROUND: living donor liver transplantation (LDLT) is considered to be the alterative choice in light of the great shortage of cadaveric donors. However, the characteristics of the patients who will benefit from LDLT have not been well identified. The aim of this study was to define the pre- and intra-operative factors that may influence patient outcome. METHODS: The data from 102 LDLT patients who had operations between 2002 and 2009 were collected and analyzed retrospectively. Data were analyzed using uni- and multi-variate analysis according to factors that are known to be associated with outcome in these patients. RESULTS: Overall, the accurate survival rate of recipients at 1, 3, and 5 years was 84%, 76%, and 70%, respectively. The independent risk factors, preoperative renal dysfunction, intraoperative red blood cell transfusions of greater than 5 units, and female to male match (donor to recipient matching), were identified by Cox regression analysis. The pre-transplant model for end-stage liver disease score and a graft to recipient weight ratio of less than 0.8% were not predictive of outcome. The overall 1-, 3-, and 5-year survival of patients with one or no risk factors and two or more risk factors were 91%, 86%, and 83% and 67%, 56%, and 47%, respectively (P<0.0001). CONCLUSIONS: In our retrospective study, preoperative renal dysfunction, intraoperative red blood cell transfusions of greater than 5 units, and female to male gender match were independent risk factors for LDLT recipient outcome. Two or more of these risk factors may contribute to poor outcome.
