The pseudo-boehmite derived alumina supported metal（Cu,Co and Ni） catalysts prepared by the impregnation method were investigated in hydrogenation of maleic anhydride（MA） to succinic anhydride（SA） and γ-*** catalysts were characterized by ICP-AES,N2 adsorptiondesorption,XRD,H2-TPR,CO-TPD,dissociative N2O adsorption and TEM and the results showed that the alumina possessed mesoporous feature and the metal species were well dispersed on the *** to Cu/Al2O3 and Co/Al2O3,Ni/Al2O3 exhibited higher catalytic activity in the MA hydrogenation with 92%selectivity to SA and nearly 100%conversion of MA at 140 °C under 0.5 MPa of H2 with a weighted hourly space velocity of 2 h 1（MA）.The stability of Ni/Al2O3 catalyst was also investigated.

An efficient method for the one-pot synthesis of 2-oxazolines from ethyl a-cyanocinnamate derivatives with acetamide and N-bromosuccinimide（NBS） in the presence of K3PO4 was developed. The reaction was performed smoothly and cleanly to give 2-oxazolines in good to excellent yields（up to 95%） in acetone at room temperature. Thirteen examples were investigated and the results indicated that a large range of a-cyanocinnamate derivatives could be suitable for this method. Based on the outcomes of experiment, a possible consecutive nucleophilic addition- cyclization pathway was proposed.

Background Severe cases of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)among pediatric patients are more common in children less than 1 year of *** aim is to address the underlying role of immunity and inflammation conditions among different age groups of pediatric *** We recruited pediatric patients confirmed of moderate COVID-19 symptoms,admitted to Wuhan Children's Hospital from January 28th to April 1st in *** were divided into four age groups(≤1,1–6,7–10,and 11–15 years).Demographic information,clinical characteristics,laboratory results of lymphocyte subsets test,immune and inflammation related markers were all *** Analysis included 217/241(90.0%)of patients with moderate clinical stage *** recovery time of children more than 6 years old was significantly shorter than of children younger than 6 years(P=0.001).Reduced neutrophils and increased lymphocytes were significantly most observed among patients under 1 year old(Plin(Ig)G(P<0.001),IgA(P<0.001),IgM(P<0.001)and serum complement C3c(P<0.001),were also mostly found among patients under 1 year old,together with elevated levels of inflammation related markers,such as tumor necrosis factor γ (P=0.007),interleukin(IL)-10(P=0.011),IL-6(P=0.008),lactate dehydrogenase(P<0.001),and procalcitonin(P=0.007).Conclusion The higher rate of severe cases and long course of COVID-19 among children under 1 year old may be due to the lower production of antibodies and serum complements of in this age group.

Eliminating the effects of gravity and designing nonlinear energy sinks(NESs)that suppress vibration in the vertical direction is a challenging task with numerous damping *** this paper,the dynamic design of a vertical track nonlinear energy sink(VTNES)with zero linear stiffness in the vertical direction is proposed and realized for the first *** motion differential equations of the VTNES coupled with a linear oscillator(LO)are *** the strong nonlinearity considered of the VTNES,the steady-state response of the system is analyzed with the harmonic balance method(HBM),and the accuracy of the HBM is verified *** this basis,the VTNES prototype is manufactured,and its nonlinear stiffness is *** damping effect and dynamic characteristics of the VTNES are studied theoretically and *** results show that the VTNES has better damping effects when strong modulation responses(SMRs)***,even for small-amplitude vibration,the VTNES also has a good vibration suppression *** sum up,in order to suppress the vertical vibration,an NES is designed and developed,which can suppress the vertical vibration within certain ranges of the resonance frequency and the vibration intensity.
