Polysulfide/ferricyanide flow batteries （S/Fe RFBs）,with the advantages of abundant earth reservation low cost,high safety,and environmental friendliness,have attracted significant interest and demonstrated noteworthy potential for practical ***,the battery performance,including the energy efficiency （EE）,voltage efficiency （VE）,and power density of the S/Fe RFBs remains low owing to the slow redox kinetics of polysulfide *** address these concerns,WS2was selected as the booster and deposited on a commercial carbon felt electrode （WS2–CF） to stimulate the redox reactions of polysulfide *** better hydrophilicity and smaller charge-transfer resistance,WS2–CF exhibits enhanced electrochemical activity toward polysulfide redox ***,the battery performance of S/Fe RFB with WS2–CF as the anode has been improved,with EE of 84%,VE of 84%,and a peak power density of 175.7 mW·cm-2,which are all higher than the cell only with the bare carbon felt （CF） as electrodes (76%,77% and 155.8 mW·cm-2,respectively).Furthermore,the cycling life of the S/Fe RFB with WS2–CF has been prolonged to 2200 cycles with a capacity retention of 96% a 40 mA·cm-2because of the good stability of WS2–CF as the ***,under the same conditions,the S/Fe RFB without WS2–CF terminated after 1500 cycles with a fast capacity *** successful utilization of WS2as a booster on an electrode provides an efficient strategy for obtaining advanced S/Fe RFBs for practical applications.

The concept of receptive field(RF) is central to sensory neuroscience. Neuronal RF properties have been substantially studied in animals,while those in humans remain nearly unexplored. Here, we measured neuronal RFs with intracranial local field potentials(LFPs) and spiking activity in human visual cortex(V1/V2/V3). We recorded LFPs via macro-contacts and discovered that RF sizes estimated from lowfrequency activity(LFA, 0.5–30 Hz) were larger than those estimated from low-gamma activity(LGA, 30–60 Hz) and high-gamma activity(HGA, 60–150 Hz). We then took a rare opportunity to record LFPs and spiking activity via microwires in V1 simultaneously. We found that RF sizes and temporal profiles measured from LGA and HGA closely matched those from spiking activity. In sum, this study reveals that spiking activity of neurons in human visual cortex could be well approximated by LGA and HGA in RF estimation and temporal profile measurement, implying the pivotal functions of LGA and HGA in early visual information processing.

According to the multi-time-scale characteristics of power generation and demand-side response(DR)resources,as well as the improvement of prediction accuracy along with the approaching operating point,a rolling peak shaving optimization model consisting of three different time scales has been *** proposed peak shaving optimization model considers not only the generation resources of two different response speeds but also the two different DR resources and determines each unit combination,generation power,and demand response strategy on different time scales so as to participate in the peaking of the power system by taking full advantage of the fast response characteristics of the concentrating solar power(CSP).At the same time,in order to improve the accuracy of the scheduling results,the combination of the day-ahead peak shaving phase with scenario-based stochastic programming can further reduce the influence of wind power prediction errors on scheduling *** testing results have shown that by optimizing the allocation of scheduling resources in each phase,it can effectively reduce the number of starts and stops of thermal power units and improve the economic efficiency of system *** spinning reserve capacity is reduced,and the effectiveness of the peak shaving strategy is verified.

The wide applications of Generative adversarial networks benefit from the successful training methods,guaranteeing that an object function converges to the local ***,designing an efficient and competitive training method is still a challenging task due to the cyclic behaviors of some gradient-based ways and the expensive computational cost of acquiring the Hessian *** address this problem,we proposed the Adaptive Composite Gradients(ACG)method,linearly convergent in bilinear games under suitable *** analysis and toy-function experiments both suggest that our approach alleviates the cyclic behaviors and converges faster than recently proposed SOTA *** convergence speed of the ACG is improved by 33%than other *** ACG method is a novel Semi-Gradient-Free algorithm that can reduce the computational cost of gradient and Hessian by utilizing the predictive information in future *** mixture of Gaussians experiments and real-world digital image generative experiments show that our ACG method outperforms several existing technologies,illustrating the superiority and efficacy of our method.

Owing to its high theoretical capacity and low cost,Sn has attracted significant attention in sodium-ion ***,the slow kinetics of electrochemical reactions and the rapid decay of capacity resulting from drastic changes in the volume of Sn,as well as persistent side reactions between Sn and the organic electrolyte during the(de)sodium process,have limited its *** improve the electrochemical performance of Sn-based materials,the bottom-up method is normally used to prepare carbon-coated ***,its complex preparation processes and harsh conditions make it unsuitable for practical ***,a carbon-coated hybrid crystal composite(Sn/SnO_(x)@C)was prepared using an up-bottom method with commercial Sn/SnO *** effects accelerate the electrochemical kinetics and inhibit the coarsening of Sn *** Sn/SnO_(x)@C composite electrode exhibited capacity retention of 80.7%even after approximately 1000 cycles(360.4 mAh·g^(−1)) at a current density of 1 A·g^(−1).The high-load Na_(3)V_(2)(PO4)3||Sn/SnO_(x)@C full cell presents a capacity retention rate of 91.7%after 150 cycles at the current density of 0.5 A·g^(−1).This work may significantly accelerate the commercialization of the Sn/SnO_(x)@C composite in sodium-ion batteries with high energy density.

Objective: The ultrasonic findings of papillary thyroid carcinoma were analyzed by acoustic power pulse imaging, and the relationship between the expression of osteopontin and the expression of osteopontin was analyzed. Methods: Using color Doppler ultrasound in patients with lesions, morphology, internal echo, calcification and blood flow of the situation, and then switch to ARFI VTI mode and VTQ mode, VTI were measured with two-dimensional area and area ratio of VTQ mode SWV;osteopontin expression was detected in two groups of patients with thyroid tissues. Analysis of difference between the two the group index by using SPSS18.0 software, Pearson linear correlation method is used to analyze the area ratio and SWV value of thyroid tissue expression correlated with OPN. Results: The shape of papillary thyroid carcinoma nodules showed that the boundary was irregular and the shape of the nodules was burr. The shape of benign nodules was more than 1 with low echo in the interior. The shape of benign nodules showed clear boundary and middle hyperechoic in the interior. No calcification occurred in most lesions in that observation group, the area ratio in VTI mode is obviously higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (T=7.313, P=0.000), the SWV value in the VTQ model of the observation group was also significantly higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (t=43.334, P=0.000). The expression of OPNmRNA in the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group , and the difference was statistically significant (t=8.894, P=0.000). Pearson linear correlation analysis showed that there was a significant positive correlation between OPNmRNA expression in papillary thyroid carcinoma and area ratio in VTI model and SWV course in VTQ model (r=0.235, 0.264;Pnique of acoustic p

The convenient synthesis of the composite electrode with high supercapacitance performance plays an important role in practical application but is ***,the carbon nanotubes(CNTs)coupled with lowcrystalline sulfur and nitrogen co-doped ni Co-LDH(denoted as SN-ni Co-LDH)nanosheets array are grown on ni Co foam(NCF)substrate by two convenient steps of metal induced self-assembly and corrosion engineering,which present the advantages of operating at roomtemperature and low preparation *** from the S–N co-doping and low-crystallinity of ni Co-LDH,the prepared SN-ni Co-LDH@CNTs@NCF electrode presents a topping charge capacity of 2470 C·g^(-1)(4.94 C·cm^(-2))at 5 m A·cm^(-2).Furthermore,the fabricated asymmetry supercapacitor(ASC)achieves an extraordinary energy density of 77 Wh·kg^(-1)(0.617 m Wh·cm^(-2))at a power density of 438 W·kg^(-1)(3.5 m W·cm^(-2))and outstanding stability(91%capacity retention after 5000 cycles at20 m A·cm^(-2)).Impressively,the structure evolution of ni Co-LDH during the charge/discharge processes has been thoroughly elucidated by in-situ Raman ***,this work verifies a powerful strategy and practical value for preparing composite electrodes with high supercapacitance performance,and also provides guidance for the rational design of the smart electrodes.

To the Editor: Fatty liver diseases, including nonalcoholic fatty liver disease and alcohol related fatty liver disease, have become a major public health concern [ 1, 2 ]. Fatty liver diseases have been shown to progress through various stages, from steatosis or necrosis with inflammation and hepatocyte damage to the development of fibrosis and eventual cirrhosis with an increased risk of carcinoma [ 2, 3 ].
