Rehabilitation care for pain in elderly knee replacement patients

BACKGROUND Total knee arthroplasty(TKA)is recognized as the most effective surgical intervention for relieving pain and improving joint mobility and deformity in patients with knee osteoarthritis and other synovial *** application of accelerated postoperative rehabilitation(enhanced recovery after surgery)has demonstrated its efficacy in improving patient outcomes,and early postoperative joint function exercise has become a key prognostic factor in knee *** unexpected appearance of limb pain and swelling hindered the patient’s tendency for early mobilization,leading in prolonged hospitalization,delayed functional recovery and negative psychological responses.A retrospective analysis was conducted on a cohort of 116 patients who under-went TKA at our hospital between July 2019 and July *** patients were divided into two groups:A control group(n=58)receiving programmatic nur-sing,and an observed group(n=58)receiving programmed nursing combined with a collaborative nursing model.A pain management team consisting of attending physicians,head nurses,and responsible nurses was *** measures included visual analogue scale(VAS)scores,activities of daily living(ADL)scale scores,and functional *** ADL scores of patients in both groups exhibited a continuous ***,there was no statistically significant difference in the ADL scores between the two groups at 48 h and the 7th d post-surgery(P>0.05).Upon reexamination at the 3rd mo,the observation group demonstrated higher ADL scores compared to the control group(67.48±14.69 vs 59.40±16.06,P0.05).The functional status of patients in both groups exhibited a gradual increase prior to intervention and at the 1st,2nd,and 3rd month following discharge(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in knee joint function scores b

Let З be a complete set of Sylow subgroups of a finite group G, that is, З contains exactly one and only one Sylow p-subgroup of G for each prime p. A subgroup of a finite group G is said to be З-permutable if it permutes with every member of З. Recently, using the Classification of Finite Simple Groups, Heliel, li and li proved tile following result： If the cyclic subgroups of prime order or order 4 iif p = 2） of every member of З are З-permutable subgroups in G, then G is supersolvable.In this paper, we give an elementary proof of this theorem and generalize it in terms of formation.

Impulse pressuring diffusion bonding of titanium to 304 stainless steel using pure Ni interlayer

In the present study, impulse pressuring diffu- sion bonding technology （IPDB） was utilized between commercially pure titanium and 304 stainless steel （SS） using pure nickel （Ni） as interlayer metal. The interfacial microstructures of the bonded joints were investigated by scanning electron microscopy （SEM） and energy dispersive spectroscope （EDS） analyses. It is found that with the aid of the Ni interlayer, the interdiffusion and reaction between Ti and SS can be effectively restricted and robust joints can be obtained. Intermetallic compounds （IMCs） including Ti2Ni, TiNi, and TiNi3 are detected at the Ti/Ni interface; however, only Ni-Fe solid solution is found at the Ni/SS interface. The maximum tensile strength of 358 MPa is obtained by IPDB for 90 s and the fracture takes place along the Ti2Ni and TiNi phase upon tensile loading. The existence of cleavage pattern on the fracture surface indi- cates the brittle nature of the joints.

NUMERICAL PREDICTION OF BLADE FREQUENCY NOISE OF CAVITATING PROPELLER

The blade frequency noise of a cavitating propeller in a uniform flow is analyzed in the time domain. The unsteady loading （of a dipole source） and the sheet cavity volume （of a monopole source） on the propeller surface are calculated by a potential-based surface panel method. Then the time-dependent pressure and the cavity volume data are used as the input for the Fowcs Williams-Hawkings formulation to predict the acoustics pressure. The integration of the noise source is performed over the true blade surface rather than the ideal blade surface without thickness. The noise characteristics of the cavitating propeller are discussed. With the sheet cavitation, the thickness （cavitation） noise is larger than the loading noise and is the dominant noise source. The noise directivity is not as clear as that of the noise under a non-cavitation condition. The cavitation noise is attenuated more slowly than the non-cavitation noise.

Protecting User Privacy in a Multi-Path Information-Centric Network Using Multiple Random-Caches

In-network caching is a fundamental mechanism advocated by information-centric networks （ICNs） for efficient content delivery. However, this new mechanism also brings serious privacy risks due to cache snooping attacks. One effective solution to this problem is random-cache, where the cache in a router randomly mimics a cache hit or a cache miss for each content request/probe. In this paper, we investigate the effectiveness of using multiple random-caches to protect cache privacy in a multi-path ICN. We propose models for characterizing the privacy of multi-path ICNs with random-caches, and analyze two different attack scenarios： 1） prefix-based attacks and 2） suffix-based attacks. Both homogeneous and heterogeneous caches are considered. Our analysis shows that in a multi-path ICN an adversary can potentially gain more privacy information by adopting prefix-based attacks. Furthermore, heterogeneous caches provide much better privacy protection than homogeneous ones under both attacks. The effect of different parameters on the privacy of multi-path random-caches is further investigated, and the comparison with its single-path counterpart is carried out based on numerical evaluations. The analysis and results in this paper provide insights in designing and evaluating multi-path ICNs when we take privacy into consideration.

Rapid Detection of rpoB Gene Mutations in Rif-resistant *** Isolates by Oligonucleotide Microarray

Objective To detect the specific mutations in rpoB gene of Mycobacterium tuberculosis by oligonucleotide microarray. Methods Four wild-type and 8 mutant probes were used to detect rifampin resistant strains. Target DNA of M. tuberculosis was amplified by PCR, hybridized and scanned. Direct sequencing was performed to verify the results of oligonucleotide microarray Results Of the 102 rifampin-resistant strains 98 （96.1%） had mutations in the rpoB genes. Conclusion Oligonucleotide microarray with mutation-specific probes is a reliable and useful tool for the rapid and accurate diagnosis of rifampin resistance in M. tuberculosis isolates.
