Thermal test and numerical simulation of cooling stave with internal ribbed tube

A new type of cooling stave with internal ribbed tube was proposed,and the heat transfer performance of the stave was studied by means of thermal test and numerical *** temperature of cooling stave was monitored in the conditions of furnace gas temperature of 200-700 C and cooling water velocity of 0.2-1.0 m/*** thermal test results show that the internal rib structure can form swirl in the water pipe and improve the cooling capacity of the cooling *** higher the furnace temperature or the lower the cooling water flow rate,the more obvious the advantage of the cooling stave with internal ribbed *** mathematical model of the cooling stave with internal ribbed tube was established by FLUENT software,and the influence of the internal rib structure parameters on the heat transfer performance of the cooling stave was *** is suggested that the parameters of the internal ribbed tube should be 4 ribs,1 mm in height,5-7 mm in width,and 20-30 mm in *** the same common working conditions of the cooling stave,the maximum temperature of the newly designed cooling stave with internal ribbed tube is reduced by 5.6%compared with that of common cooling stave with round *** water flow rate in the internal ribbed tube only needs 0.9 m/s to reach the cooling effect of 2 m/s in the common tube cooling stave,which can save 55%of *** case of water shortage accident of cooling stave,the maximum temperature of the cooling stave with internal ribbed tube is decreased by 22.4%compared with that of common round tube,which can effectively reduce the harm of water shortage and protect the cooling stave.

BACKGROUND Current evidence shows that human induced pluripotent stem cells(hiPSCs)can effectively differentiate into keratinocytes(KCs),but its effect on skin burn healing has not been *** To observe the effects of hiPSCs-derived KCs transplantation on skin burn healing in mice and to preliminarily reveal the underlying *** An analysis of differentially expressed genes in burn wounds based on GEO datasets GSE140926,and GSE27186 was established.A differentiation medium containing retinoic acid and bone morphogenetic protein 4 was applied to induce hiPSCs to differentiate into *** expression of KCs marker proteins was detected using immunofluorescence staining.A model of a C57BL/6 mouse with deep cutaneous second-degree burn was created,and then phosphate buffered saline(PBS),hiPSCs-KCs,or hiPSCs-KCs with knockdown of COL7A1 were injected around the wound *** wound healing,re-epithelialization,engraftment of hiPSCs-KCs into wounds,proinflammatory factor level,and the NF-κB pathway proteins were assessed by hematoxylin-eosin staining,carboxifluorescein diacetate succinimidyl ester(CFSE)fluorescence staining,enzyme linked immunosorbent assay,and Western blotting on days 3,7,and 14 after the injection,***,the effects of COL7A1 knockdown on the proliferation and migration of hiPSCs-KCs were confirmed by immunohistochemistry,EdU,Transwell,and damage repair *** HiPSCs-KCs could express the hallmark proteins of ***7A1 was down-regulated in burn wound tissues and highly expressed in *** of hiPSCs-KCs into mice with burn wounds resulted in a significant decrease in wound area,an increase in wound re-epithelialization,a decrease in proinflammatory factors content,and an inhibition of NF-κB pathway activation compared to the PBS *** in vitro assay showed that COL7A1 knockdown could rescue the inhibition of hiPSCs-KCs proliferation and migration,providing further evidence that COL7A

Effect of proppant sizes and injection modes on proppant transportation and distribution in the tortuous fracture model

As an effective strategy to improve the properties of electrocatalysts,magnetic field-assisted electrocatalytic water splitting has attracted increasing attention ***,the corresponding enhancements mostly depend on the exertion of an external magnetic field during electrochemical reactions,which results in a high cost of industrial production,and makes the magnetic field manipulation of electrocatalysis become a challenging *** this work,instead of the external magnetic field,a bias magnetic field is self-supplied by the remanence state of a ferromagnetic electrocatalyst of *** to the assistance of this bias magnetic field,the FePt film in the remanence state shows the overpotential of 229 mV during hydrogen evolution reaction,which is much lower than that in its demagnetization state(283 mV).Our findings demonstrate that the remanence in ferromagnetic electrocatalysts can improve the catalytic performance,which is attributed to the decrease in domain walls.

Research on a Monte Carlo global variance reduction method based on an automatic importance sampling method

Inclusions modification by rare earth in steel and the resulting properties: A review

Rare earth(RE) elements are excellent modifiers for non-metallic inclusions that inevitably appear in steel and affect steel properties. This paper reviews the research status of inclusions modification by RE elements and the changes it cause on steel properties. First, the inclusion changes caused by RE modification are described. Generally, after adding pure RE, the main evolution of inclusions occurs as M →M + RE-Al-O → RE-Al-O + RE_(2)O_(2)S → RE_(2)O_(2)S + RE—S/RE_(2)O_(2)S + RE-O with an increase in the RE content(M represents the inclusions before RE addition). The type of final inclusion obtained after RE modification is related to the relative contents of S and O in the steel. Moreover, fine, regular, and uniformly distributed inclusions can be obtained with appropriate RE addition. However, the effectiveness of inclusions modification by adding both RE and non-RE elements is closely related to the order of their addition. Second, the applications and advantages of thermodynamic calculations in the study of RE-modified inclusions are introduced. Third, the changes in the corrosion resistance, impact properties,and other properties of steel caused by the modification of inclusions by RE are reviewed. Finally, the perspectives and trends of inclusions modified by RE elements in the steel industry are presented.

Selective photosynthesis of imines from biomass-derived aldehydes over Ni/TiO_(2)

Photocatalytic reductive amination of biomass-derived aldehydes is a desirable way to selectively upgrade biomass into value-added nitrogen-containing chemicals under mild ***,it is challenging to produce imines in high selectivity because of the undesirable side reactions caused by the activity of functional ***,we demonstrate the highly reactive and selective production of imines from biomass derived aldehydes via the photocatalytic reductive amination,using a defective TiO_(2)supported nickel *** employment of methanol as the hydrogen donor and ammonia solution as the nitrogen source avoids the use of high-pressure H_(2)and expensive amines,rendering the current catalytic process safe,economical,and environmentally *** depth investigations attribute the improved separation and transfer of photogenerated charge carriers to the presence of oxygen vacancies and decorated Ni nanoparticles,thereby accelerating the production of imines from benzaldehyde amination(conversion,95.8%;seleetivity,95.2%).Furthermore,the developed system could be easily translated to the photocatalytic conversions of various biomass derived aldehydes,which provided an example of a cost-effective and sustainable approach for the valorization of biomass derived feedstocks.
