A new approach for flexoelectricmaterial shape optimization is proposed in this *** this work,a proxy.odel based on artificial neural network(ANN)is used to solve the parameter optimization and shape optimization *** improve the fitting ability.of the neural network,we use the idea of pre-training to determine the structure of the neural network and combine different optimizers for *** isogeometric analy.is-finite element method(IGA-FEM)is used to discretize the flexural theoretical formulas and obtain samples,which helps ANN to build a proxy.model from the model shape to the target *** effectiveness of the proposed method is verified through two numerical examples of parameter optimization and one numerical example of shape optimization.

During the pupal-adult eclosion process of holometabolous insects,the old cuticle is shed and replaced by.a completely.different new cuticle that requires tanning and expansion,along with extensive extracellular matrix(ECM)*** vertebrates,matrix metalloproteinases(MMPs),a class of zinc-dependent endopeptidases,play.key.roles in regulating the ECM that surrounds ***,little is known about these extracellular proteinases available in *** small hive beetle(SHB),Aethina tumida,is a widespread invasive parasite of honey.*** this study.6 MMP homologs were identified in the SHB *** interference experiments showed that all 6 AtMmps are not required for the larval-pupal transition,only.AtMmp2 was essential for pupal-adult eclosion in *** of AtMmp2 resulted in eclosion defects and wing expansion failure,as well as mortality.within 3 d of adult *** analy.is revealed that knockdown of AtMmp2 significantly.increased expression of the Toll and Imd pathway.,chitin metabolism,and cross-linking(such as the pro-phenoloxidase activating cascade pathway.and the ty.osine-mediated cuticle sclerotization and pigmentation pathway..These data revealed evolutionarily.conserved functions of Mmp2 in controlling adult eclosion and wing expansion,also provided a preliminary.exploration of the novel function of regulating Toll and Imd pathway.,as well as new insights into how MMPs regulate insect development and defense barriers.

The indoor thermal history.of residents in the hot summer and cold winter climate zone in China have undergone a significant change in recent y.ars,which also changes their seasonal thermal adaptations and this has formed feed-back effects to the increasing usage of air conditioning units in this *** study.the seasonal variations of thermal adaptation,the thermal comfort experiments were conducted on two groups of *** groups included 20 participants who had indoor history.mainly.with natural ventilation(NV group)and air-conditioning(AC group),*** results demonstrated that the thermal sensation vote(TSV)in warm environments did not differ between AC and NV subjects in ***,the TSV of AC subjects were much lower than that of NV subjects in the same standard effective temperature and skin temperature in a cold environment in ***,the participants who spent most of their time in AC space in winter showed a low level of thermal adaptation with a narrower acceptable skin temperature range of 32.6-33.5℃.Thus,this study.presents the basic information regarding the seasonal effects on human thermal adaptation due to different long-term indoor thermal histories.

BACKGROUND Many.studies have explored the relationship between depression and metabolic sy.drome(MetS),especially.in older *** has entered an aging ***,there are still few studies on the elderly.in Chinese *** To investigate the incidence and risk factors of depression in MetS patients in China's Mainland and to construct a predictive *** Data from four waves of the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study.were selected,and middle-aged and elderly.patients with MetS(n=2533)were included based on the first *** to the center for epidemiological survey.depression scale(CESD),participants with MetS were divided into depression(n=938)and non-depression groups(n=1595),and factors related to depression were screened ***,the 2-,4-,and 7-y.ar follow-up data were analy.ed,and a prediction model for depression in MetS patients was *** The prevalence of depression in middle-aged and elderly.patients with MetS was 37.02%.The prevalence of depression at the 2-,4-,and 7-y.ar follow-up was 29.55%,34.53%,and 38.15%,*** prediction model,constructed using baseline CESD and Phy.ical Self-Maintenance Scale scores,average sleep duration,number of chronic diseases,age,and weight had a good predictive effect on the risk of depression in MetS patients at the 2-y.ar follow-up(area under the curve=0.775,95%confidence interval:0.750-0.800,Py.of 68%and a specificity.of 74%.CONCLUSION The prevalence of depression in middle-aged and elderly.patients with MetS has increased over *** early.identification of and intervention for depressive sy.ptoms requires greater attention in MetS patients.

Regular fastener detection is necessary.to ensure the safety.of ***,the number of abnormal fasteners is significantly.lower than the number of normal fasteners in real *** supervised inspectionmethods have insufficient detection ability.in cases of imbalanced *** solve this problem,we propose an approach based on deep convolutional neural networks(DCNNs),which consists of three stages:fastener localization,abnormal fastener sample generation based on saliency.detection,and fastener state ***,a lightweight y.LOv5s is designed to achieve fast and precise localization of fastener ***,the foreground clip region of a fastener image is extracted by.the designed fastener saliency.detection network(F-SDNet),combined with data augmentation to generate a large number of abnormal fastener samples and balance the number of abnormal and normal ***,a fastener inspection model called Fastener ResNet-8 is constructed by.being trained with the augmented fastener *** show the effectiveness of our proposed method in solving the problem of sample imbalance in fastener *** and quantitative comparisons show that the proposed F-SDNet outperforms other state-of-the-art methods in clip region extraction,reaching MAE and max F-measure of 0.0215 and 0.9635,*** addition,the FPS of the fastener state inspection model reached 86.2,and the average accuracy.reached 98.7%on 614 augmented fastener test sets and 99.9%on 7505 real fastener datasets.
