Molecular recognition between nucleobases plays a crucial role in all kinds of biological ***,real-space investigation of the recognition capability of nucleobases in the presence of interfering compounds remains ***,based on the combination of scanning tunneling microscopy imaging and density functional theory modeling,we report the impact of the presence of melamine(M)on the formation and chirality of guanine(G)-tetrads on Au(111).Although M can interact with G by double hydrogen bonding,the Hoogsteen base pairing of G is not compromised,forming identical individual G-tetrads as would have happened without the presence of M.G-tetrads coexist with M on the surface not only in separate domains,but also within the mixture network of G-tetrads and *** the adsorption orientation of G-tetrads in the mixture network diversifies into two distinct angles,all G-tetrads in the network keep the same chirality,emphasizing the high preference of homochirality in such biochemical systems.

Crowdfunding refers to the online gathering of finance via numerous small donations from individual supporters （the ＂crowd＂） in order to fund a service, project or cause from various fields including business, arts, medicine and science （Sisler, 2012; Cameron et al., 2013; Weigmann, 2013; Wheat et al., 2013）. Crowdfunding platforms facilitate the interaction between organizations soliciting funding for their projects and the people who wish to support them. As prices of molecular testing plummet, utilizing crowdfunding in order to support genetic research becomes increasingly feasible （Cameron et al., 2013）. Whole Exome Sequencing （WES） has been used extensively for the purpose of identifying the genetic cause of rare mendelian diseases, uncovering novel mutations in previously implicated genes or identifying new disease- causing genes （Ng et al., 2009; Bamshad et al., 2011; Gilissen et al., 2011）.

Recent geochronological studies in southern Siberia support a Siberian assembly between 2.1 and 1.8 Ga. This broadly coincides with major orogenic events in most other Precambrian continents including Laurentia. In the Mesoproterozoic, Siberia was mainly an area of stable platform sedimentation whereas Laurentia underwent a continental growth from southeast. Lack of traces of the Grenville orogeny in Siberia suggests its peripheral position in Rodinia. The eastern （Uchur- Maya area） and western （Yenisei area） Siberian margins probably faced oceans during the Meso- and Neoproterozoic. Recent geological, geochronological, geochemical and paleomagnetic data suggest integrity of Siberia and Laurentia in the Meso- and early Neoproterozoic with the Siberian southern margin close to the northern margin of Laurentia. However, some ‘intervening＇ continental blocks were probably located between these two cratons. The 750-720 Ma igneous event was probably related to the rifting between Siberia and Laurentia and the opening of the Paleo-Asian Ocean, causing the development of a passive margin sedimentary succession in southern Siberia.

Halide perovskites possess ultra-low thermal conductivity and show high potential for thermoelectric *** chemical properties and molecular structure of halide perovskite materials are not completely stable under ambient conditions,which hinders their use in thermoelectric *** in the properties of bulk halide perovskite thermoelectrics are accompanied by partial phase transitions and surface oxidation *** this paper,we conducted a comprehensive study of the transport and structural properties of CsSnI_(3),which were pristine by vacuum melting followed by spark plasma *** research results on the electrical transport of these materials revealed that exposure to an inert atmosphere does not deteriorate stability and the properties of the materials remain ***,prolonged exposure to air leads to a significant degradation of the electrical transport *** to thin-film samples,the shift to the double perovskite structure from the perovskite one is limited to a specific surface *** change significantly influences the electrical transport of the material while maintaining the essential properties of both perovskite types.

In this paper, we consider the planar multi-facility Weber problem with restricted zones and non-Euclidean distances, propose an algorithm based on the probability changing method (special kind of genetic algorithms) and prove its efficiency for approximate solving this problem by replacing the continuous coordinate values by discrete ones. Version of the algorithm for multiprocessor systems is proposed. Experimental results for a high-performance cluster are given.

AIM To characterize radiological and clinical factors associated with subsequent surgical intervention in Crohn's disease(CD) patients with intra-abdominal *** From a cohort of 1244 CD patients seen over an eight year period(2006 to 2014), 126 patients were identified as having intra-abdominal fistulae, and included in the study. Baseline patient information was collected from the medical records. Imaging studies were assessed for: anatomic type and number of fistulae; diameter of the inflammatory conglomerate; length of diseased bowel; presence of a stricture with pre-stenotic dilatation; presence of an abscess; lymphadenopathy; and the degree of bowel enhancement. Multivariate analysis for the prediction of abdominal surgery was calculated via Generalized Linear *** In total, there were 193 fistulae in 132 patients, the majority(52%) being entero-enteric. Fifty-nine(47%) patients underwent surgery within one year of the imaging study, of which 36(29%) underwent surgery within one month. Radiologic features that were associated with subsequent surgery included: multiple fistulae(P = 0.009), presence of stricture(P = 0.02), and an entero-vesical fistula(P = 0.01). Evidence of an abscess, lymphadenopathy, or intense bowel enhancement as well as C-reactive protein levels was not associated with an increased rate of surgery. Patients who were treated after the imaging study with combination immunomodulatory and anti-TNF therapy had significantly lower rates of surgery(P = 0.01). In the multivariate analysis, presence of a stricture [RR 4.5(1.23-16.3), P = 0.02] was the only factor that increased surgery *** A bowel stricture is the only factor predicting an increased rate of surgery. Radiological parameters may guide in selecting treatment options in patients with fistulizing CD.

Semantic Keys are elements (word-parts) of written language that give an iconic,general representation of the whole word’s meaning. In written Sino-Japanese the “radical”or semantic components play this role. For example, the character meaning 'woman,female’ is the Semantic Key of the character for Ma 'Mama’ (alongside the phonetic component Ma, which means 'horse’ as a separate character). The theory of semantic Keys in both graphic and phonemic aspects is called qTheory or *** most innovative aspect of the present article is the hypothesis that, in languages using alphabetic writing systems, the role of Semantic Key is played by consonants, more specifically the first consonant. Thus, L meaning 'Lif t ’ is the Semantic Key of English L f,Ladle, Lofty, aLps，elevator，oLympus; Spanish leva, Lecantarse，aLto，Lengua; Arabic aLLah, and Hebrew? aeL-0aL ‘upto-above’ （the Israeli airline), Polish Lot ‘flight’ （the Polish airline); Hebrew aeL, aeLohim ‘God’， and haLLeluyah ‘praise-ye God’ （using Parallels, 'Lift up God’). Evidence for the universality of the theory is shown by many examples drawn from various languages, including Indo-European Semitic, Chinese and Japanese. The theory reveals hundreds of relationships within and between languages,related and unrelated, that have been “Hiding in Plain Sight”, to mention just one example:the Parallel between Spanish Pan 'bread’ and Mandarin Fan 'rice’.
