Natural re.e.e.ation is a critical compone.t of fore.t e.osyste.s sustainability. Local e.tinction can occur without ade.uate.re.e.e.ationor se.dling re.ruitme.t prior to adult se.e.ce.ce. The.urban and pe.i-urban e.vironme.t is particularly challe.ging for re.ruitme.t. For e.ample. although many fore.t spe.ie. have.spe.ific re.uire.e.ts involving fire.e.e.ts, fe. opportunitie. associate. with fire.e.ist in conte.porary urban and pe.i-urban e.vironme.ts. For our study spe.ie., e.calyptus gomphoce.hala, e. masse.re.ruitme.t can occur in ashbe.s following a hot fire. Howe.e., this may not occur following low-inte.sity, fue. re.uction burns that are.pre.cribe. for many e. gomphoce.hala woodlands and fore.ts. Ne.e.the.e.s, ashbe.s could be.cre.te. by constructing and burning coarse.woody de.ris (CWD) pile.. In a se.ie. of collaborative.case.studie. involving community groups, NGOs and Local and State.Gove.nme.t age.cie., we.inve.tigate. whe.he. se.dling re.ruitme.t could be.facilitate. through broadcast se.ding afte.: a) cre.ting CWD pile. prior to a low inte.sity, pre.cribe. burn;b) naturally-occurring ashbe.s following a hot summe. wildfire.and c) cre.ting CWD pile. and the. burning the.pile. only. We.found that re.e.e.ation of this post-fire. canopy gap re.e.e.ator can be.facilitate. by broadcast se.ding naturally occurring or cre.te. ashbe.s. Howe.e., it se.ms that prote.tion from se.d harve.te.s and he.bivore. is vital. The.e.case.studie. provide.tools that can be.use. to pre.e.ve.the.natural de.ographics in populations with spe.ific re.e.e.ation re.uire.e.ts in a range.of e.vironme.ts by le.e.aging natural re.ruitme.t proce.se. and community involve.e.t. Importantly, it is the.conse.vation of the.e.urban and pe.i-urban e.osyste.s that will be.vital in maintaining conne.tion be.we.n pe.ple.and the.e.vironme.t into the.future.

In this study, the.authors have.inve.tigate. the.pote.tial of a bacte.ial strain of Pantoe. sp., isolate. from waste.ate. of the.te.tile.industry, for the.production of biosurfactant. The.biosurfactant production was optimize. by the.combination of CCD （ce.tral composite.de.ign） and RSM （re.ponse.surface.me.hodology）. To asse.s the.e.fe.ts and inte.actions of me.ium the.ve.e.able.fat （1.5, 2.0 and 2.5 v/v）, the.variable. corn ste.p liquor （2.0, 5.0 and 8.0 v/v） and pine.pple.pe.l re.idue.（10.0, 25.0 and 40.0 v/v） on the.surface.te.sion we.e.e.aluate.. The.e.pirical mode. de.e.ope. through RSM in te.ms of the.e.fe.tive.ope.ational factors me.tione. above.was found to be.ade.uate.to de.cribe.the.biosurfactant production. Compositional analysis of the.produce. biosurfae.ant has be.n carrie. out by FT-IR （Fourie. transform infrare. spe.toscopy） and subje.te. to the.te.t of re.oving hydrocarbons. Through the.analysis, ve.e.able.fat and pine.pple.pe.l re.idue.we.e.found to be.the.most significant factors, whe.e.s corn ste.p liquor had le.s e.fe.t within the.range. inve.tigate.. A maximum re.uction in surface.te.sion of 30.00 mN/m was obtaine. unde. the.optimal conditions of 2.0% （v/v） ve.e.able.fat conce.tration, 5.0% （v/v） corn ste.p liquor and 25.0% （v/v） pine.pple.pe.l re.idue.conce.tration of me.ium. The.biosurfactant produce. by Candida sphae.ica in a fe.me.tor containing 5% ve.e.al oil re.ine.y waste.and 2.5% was te.te. in the.re.oval of motor oil from soils and se.wate.. In kine.ic assays, the.isolate. biosurfactant re.ove. more.than 86% of the.motor oil adsorbe. to clay, silty and sandy soils at the.critical mice.le.conce.tration （CMC）. Static re.oval te.ts pe.forme. in glass columns de.onstrate. that the.crude.biosurfactant was able.to re.ove.75% and 92% of the.oil containe. in clay and silty soil, re.pe.tive.y, whe.e.s the.isolate. biosurfactant at its CMC re.ove. 50% of the.oil from sandy soil. In the.washing of hydrophobic compound on a porous surface. the.re.oval rate.was 60%. The.biosurfactant also prove. to be.e.ficie.t in de.e.ge.cy te.ts since.the.crude.surfactant re.ove. 41% of motor oil from contaminate. cotton cloth. Introduction: Bronchiolitis is a ge.e.ally be.ign condition characte.ise. by acute.inflammation, oe.e.a and ne.rosis of the.e.ithe.ial ce.ls lining the.small airways, and incre.se. mucus production. Symptoms usually be.in with rhinitis and cough, which may progre.s to tachypnoe., whe.zing, and rale.. The.most common e.iology is a re.piratory syncytial virus (RSV). Bronchiolitis occupie. an important place.among Acute. Re.piratory Infe.tions (ARI) and re.re.e.te. the.fifth cause.of hospitalisation in the.pae.iatric e.e.ge.cy de.artme.t of the.Gabrie. Touré Unive.sity Hospital in 2008 with a fre.ue.cy of 10% and a mortality rate.of 3.2%. This shows that we.are.constantly confronte. with the.manage.e.t of this pathology. The.obje.tive.of our study was to study the.e.ide.iological, clinical, and the.ape.tic aspe.ts of bronchiolitis in the.pae.iatric e.e.ge.cy room of the.Gabrie. Touré Unive.sity Hospital. Mate.ials and Me.hod: This was a prospe.tive.cross-se.tional and de.criptive.study from April 1, 2018, to March 31, 2020, i.e. 2 ye.rs in infants age. 1 to 23 months. Data we.e.colle.te. using an individual surve. form by que.tioning pare.ts and physically e.amining patie.ts. Re.ults: During the.study pe.iod, we.we.e.able.to colle.t 342 patie.ts me.ting our inclusion crite.ia out of 4207 hospitalize. patie.ts, or a fre.ue.cy of 8.1%. The.age.range.of 1 to 5 months re.re.e.te. 64.9%. The.se. ratio was 1.2. The.most common re.son for consultation was re.piratory discomfort (86.8%). Most patie.ts (46%) we.e.hospitalise. during the.pe.iod from Se.te.be. to Nove.be.. In the.majority of case. (74%), patie.ts consulte. within five.days of the.onse. of symptoms. The.physical e.amination was mainly dominate. by signs of re.piratory struggle. fe.e. (51.8%), and sibilants (37%) on auscultation. Complications associate. with bronchiolitis we.e.mainly re.piratory infe.tions with 57.6% of case.. The.main manage.e.t ste.s we.e. nasopharynge.l de.ontamination (78.9%), oxyge. the.apy (
